Make multiple ones or animate the settings in the array modifier. As for fractal patterns you would need a way to generate the splines procedurally but there is nothing that can currently do that without a plugin. Try TyFlow if you need something with more options.
Do you happen to know if there's a plugin, maybe even a paid one, or any plans for MAX to bring Animation Layers tool on par with that of Maya? Right now, it's just embarassing and cannot be used reliably.
I guess sthe material is nothing more than some emissive one. Anyone hope youll do a couple of others tutorials with the latest updates and fixes of these new tools

10 years of using 3ds Max, and sometimes I feel like I just scratched the surface. There's a lot to learn.

Yes, the whole thing is procedural. I will do some videos on how that is done as well.

Yes it is just an emissive material. I will try and do more but I'm very busy these days.
