Ten year old video, how am I just now seeing this one pop up. Great video and thanks so much for sharing your experience and knowledge with us.
Wow, i don't care how old this is; it's awesome. Praying now I can go to web page and find this beautiful patter. Thanks Deb.
How amazing that methods and rulers have changed in the last 11 years!
Perfect instruction Deb, thankyou.
You are very welcome.
What a wonderful way to explain the flying geese technique! Thanks!
I had a cousin that was killed in an auto accident 5 years ago and she was a quilter, much better than I am. She had completed an elk center panel for a king-sized quilt and I've been recruited to finish her quilt. I took the panel to my quilt group the other day for suggestions, one of the ideas was flying geese, I immediately thought about these geese, the elk also has an Ohio star on him, so this border would be great. Thanks for this video.
How clever is this!?! Love it 😍
Hello how are you doing ?
What an awesome tutorial. Love it!!
Wow!! Love this technique. Great instructor and easy to follow
I was excited to find the technique sheet at my favourite quilt shop the day I found this amazing video! Thank you Deb Tucker for making quilting so easy and precise! ❤
Hello how are you?
I have used all your techniques and they are perfect every time. Going to use this one for a quilt panel
Was looking for info on geese flying over Palm Sprigs, but enjoyed the video on quilting.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you Deb
I have Deb's hunter star template and it really makes that block so simple and always perfect. I have ordered additional kinds of templates to make different blocks too. Her videos are so helpful and easy to understand.
Beautiful border, great tute!
explanation, demo is so easy to understand -- always precise, clean & clear and turns out so perfectly! ( lots of useful info in this particular video.)
Looks wonderful. I loath making flying geese, never end up great but will try this. Many thanks
I Love your delivery of direction. Very clear. I just tried this, and after several seem rips....I got it!! Thanks.
I love your videos! So inspiring!
Thank you.
I have the technique sheet so this was the icing on the cake. You made it so understandable. Thank you
Well that was nice !! There will be some migrating geese in my next project ! Lovely design ! :-)
Where have you been all my life? I love this
Can't wait to try this one!
Love it, I have seen so many trimmers lately. I do not like when half of the fabric is cut too small to reclaim. Thank-you for believing quilters can do this, of course we can, it isn't rocket science as my sister says. As a long time sewer, when I started quilting, I already knew enough to do accuracy. I have been doing french braids without trimming. Thanks again.
This was so helpful! Thank you for the tutorial!
Fantastic, thank you, great table runner too!
Hooray! I have a pattern w migrating geese but couldn't figure out how to do them (well, I could figure a way but it was so screwy I thought, "that cannot be right"!).
Thanks for the help. You have a very nice presentation and a very pleasant voice.
Fantastic method! Thank you.
Hello how are you doing ?

Gracias, me encantó.
Buenas tardes.
I am glad that the Spanish subtitles that UA-cam provided were accurate. Enjoy sewing!
Love this idea..to add to flying geese..
Perfect. I loved yr video
Glad you liked it
Gorgeous
Thank you!!
I just love the tips and techniques you supply. I have many of the rulers and just love the quilts behind you so my question is do you have a book with the recipes for them?
That is so cute!
Great technique
Hello how are you doing ?
Замечательно!!!!
Grazie sei veramente brava chiara anche se non conosco la lingua ti ho capita benissimo grazie❤️
good to listen to
Darn, After making all my flying geese and adding to my border strips it didn't work. There was no 1/4" allowance on either side of the flying geese strips which resulted in losing the geese wing tips. So disappointing.
Question: Is the pattern for the quilt that is shown as the backdrop in the Migrating Geese video tutorial available from this site (or any other, if known)?
Just learning
how do you make the circle geese?
I bought your technique sheet for the Migrating Geese. I plan on incorporating it into my husband’s Quilt of Valor. Does the 10-1/2” block make up as 10-1/2” square? I don’t want to waste fabric trying to figure it out.
To make this into a square you can only have 3 "geese" high. This was mainly designed to be borders so we don't have a true grasp on turning it into a square. I would try it out with scrap fabric first to make sure it will work as you want it to.
Do you have a download available for this?
Great video. I"m also looking for your quilt Thank you
The project behind me is called Atlantic Flyway and can be found on my website.
Seems easy when watching. Is there a ruler for half square triangles?
Yes, we have our Tucker Trimmer for them. You can find it here: deb-tuckers-studio-180-design.myshopify.com/products/tucker-trimmer-1?_pos=3&_sid=0c711521d&_ss=r
Me gustaría que pusieran las medidas en pantalla para poder entender mejor las explicaciones, gracias.
Where do u get your hand fact sheet
They are my technique sheets, I have for sale on my website.
What to do when sewing flying geese together and I’m off in my measurements
I am not sure what you mean by this? This is a precision technique and so you have to cut the squares exactly the size listed in the table and not oversize them. You might need to check your 1/4" seam or double-check where you are marking and pinning your match points to bring the width in our out depending on what you need.
Спасибо
Just bought the technique sheet. I have a pattern where I need to make 8 of these strips. They used a different method and it's AWFUL. Seriously considering re-buying fabric and re-cutting THOUGH I think I might be able to "math" my way outta this - LOL
