Here is the full list of bosses that King Dedede and Bowser may have killed as playable characters. Dedede: Mr. Dooter, Fatty Puffer, Goriath, Grand Doomer, Metal General, Master Crown, Goldon, Silvox, Grand Mam, Kracko, Void Termina. Bowser: King Calamari, Yaridovich, Megasmilax, Czar Dragon, Axem Red, Axem Black, Axem Yellow, Axem Green, Axem Pink, Count Down, Cloaker, Domino, Clerk, Manager, Director, Factory Chief, Gunyolk, Smithy, Dark Star, King Croacus, Bonechill, Dimentio, Wracktail, Dark Mario, Dark Luigi, Dark Bowser, Dark Peach.
I'm sure Kracko isn't dead, he's a recurring character and will almost definitely return again. He was absent from Forgotten Land and hasn't made a canonical apprarance since Star Allies (Super Clash and Fighters 2 probably aren't canon), but he was also absent in Return to Dreamland before returning in Triple Deluxe. Also non canon but Dedede kills a lot of Whispy Woods in the anime, the ones that grow at the end aren't the same trees as the ones he chopped
I understand that these are only confirmed kills, but let’s be real, most of these villains have probably killed a lot more than what was shown here (mainly the ones that aren’t wiping universes)
Is confirmed all Super Mario adventures after Super Mario Bros, are mere teather performances so is very likely Bowser never (intentionally) killed an innocent being after said game.
@@TunaBear64 Enough with that garbage theory. It was never confirmed to be true. If you’re referring to that Miyamoto interview from a DECADE ago, he says the Mario cast are LIKE or COMPARABLE to a troupe of actors hence why they go go-karting with Bowser and shit, not that they actually truly ARE actors (and yes there IS a difference between being like or comparable to something and actually BEING something) and that none of the events of later games actually happen. Even so, the only Mario game that was confirmed to be a stage play was Mario 3 and even THEN only really the NES version of Mario 3 can be qualified as a stage play as the GBA version of Mario 3 gets rid of the stage play elements and thus is likely the real Mario 3 adventure that’s NOT a stage play.
@@Rediscool9 thanks so much for stating that. There are many people in the mario community who make up theories or stretch the truth of things that have been said and they post them saying they are canon
@@ColetteBS_Real You’re welcome. I especially hate it when fans or people in general genuinely unironically believe that the Mario characters are actors in a stage play theory is true or “confirmed” when it never was.
For anyone wondering, Smash Ultimate contains 222 universes within it While some of them would undoubtedly have a level of life similar to our own universe or even lesser than it, many of Smash's universes are confirmed to harbor extraterrestrial life or even whole civilizations in the galaxies Even without taking Pokémon's possibly infinite multiverse into account, there is simply no humanly way of counting the amount of casualties Galeem would cause
I will admit that Galeem is a force of light that is never to be taken lightly. However, it was once destroyed instantly with just one huge slice by Sephiroth from his reveal trailer.
That’s still a LOT of dead bodies. Even if we just count characters that die in ultimate, thanks to the THOUSANDS of spirits, he still lands around where Ridley is.
I remember hearing it in a video once, don't remember which, but it's a line that's always stuck with me every time i replay Ocarina of Time "And perhaps Ganons greatest crime of them all, was stealing Links childhood away from him.'
@@IamSupreme333 nah fuk the millions of lives Ganon ruined when he started apocalypse Think about how sad Link was when he didn't get his birthday cake Now that is evil
I believe it shouldn't count because Dedede is more of an antihero than an actual hero in the games where he can truly kill someone. Since he's really conceited, it's difficult to determine whether he fits the definition of an antihero.

Other than that he's just as heroic as meta knight or kirby especially in returned to dreamland onward. Tho anime dedede is a different story...
Between Count Bleck and Galeem, there's one more: Dimentio. His kill count is several times Bleck's, because we see several other universes be erased while the Chaos Heart is in his control
i would have said a kirby boss (probably dark matter since we're talking recurring main threats) but we don't have any confirmed numbers on how many people a kirby boss has killed (if they've killed any at all)
@palossand enthusiast he was a villain only on the first game, after that he was trying to save the world without explaining his ways or getting possessed. Even on Revenge of Dedede he wasn't doing something major, just trying to defeat Kirby so he can brag about it.
Doesn't Bowser steal the energy from stars and galaxies to make his own galaxy in SM Galaxy? Its been awhile since I played SM Galaxy but I remember distinctly thinking "Holy hell, Bowser is potentially killing billions of people by stealing the power of their stars."
Yet, people for some reason still like to unironically believe that Bowser is not a bad person or that he’s “misunderstood”. It’s the same stupid shit when people say Darth Vader is “misunderstood” while ignoring the trillions of people that’s he’s mercilessly killed. It’s like people ignore that villains can have redeeming qualities, be likeable, and have humanizing traits while still acknowledging that they’re objectively horrible people who have done terrible things.
Someone finally says it. He may have some redeeming qualities, But Bowser is a villain through and through, who clearly enjoys being evil and causing others to suffer.
@@Rediscool9 I don't think people really try to say Darth Vader is actually a good person, but his story is that of a tragic hero. He does a lot (a LOT) of bad things, but he only ever got where was by being manipulated by everyone around him. He was manipulated by the Jedi Order, he was manipulated by Palpatine, he was corrupted by the Dark Side, and you could even argue he was a victim of his own fate. Despite all that manipulation, though, he is finally able to see the light again thanks to his son. It's unfair to call him pure evil when there are so many times we see that he did maintain some humanity. But yeah he did kill a lot of people though. So did Luke.
Always been a fan of Thousand Year Door, as it's one of the best Nintendo games of all time in my opinion. Never played Super, but I hear the story is great as well.
It really is. A lot of people like to crap on it because of the simplistic gameplay but honestly the story and the cast of character far than make up for it. Hell I don't even view it as a bad game in the slightest.
@@bk7064 Super Paper Mario is often considered to be the Mario game with the overall greatest story. Some even consider it to be the greatest story in all of Nintendo, but that’s up to debate.
I would say Count Bleck because he erased an entire world and Dimentio came damn near close to erasing more. Mario villains are pretty destructive and I'm sure other villains here are probably worse.
Yeah a lot of people like to meme on Kirby villains being terrifying cataclysmic demons and they ARE don’t get me wrong, but no one acknowledges just how many Mario villains that are JUST as terrifying and cataclysmic.
Tabuu was the coolest original Smash Bros character he was a beast to fight! Kinda wish he was playable like Ridley in Ultimate but I'm pretty sure if he was playable he would be broken.
Honestly I think it would have worked as a similar thing to what world of light did with master hand. Have a special game mode where you can play them, that way they can be as powerful as possible.
Toads being turned into blocks is a fate worse than death : in fact, they are not actually dead, but cannot move and are fully aware of their surrounding, so this being in the kill count is debatable.
I'm kinda iffy about Tabuu's kills since he really just turned the characters into figurines, kinda like Gorgons using petrification to turn people into stone, but "killing" Tabuu reverted everyone back to normal, so they kinda were encased in a plastic model prison, (Master Hand though i would consider a kill) Also for some reason now, looking at Tabuu, I feel like he could be involved in the morpho knight mystery, based on appearance and abilities, maybe some residue of his power spread through out the cosmos of the realities of each character, and a butterfly in Kirby's world just happen to get caught with the strange power, what it to say the "chronological order" of smash bros games exist, shoot Tabuu can manipulate reality for god sake
Makes you wonder how many universes actually got devoured in Light by Galeem's attack, worlds like Minecraft (infinite worlds and wildlife), Xenoblade (Canonically 2, maybe 3 universes with massive amounts of life), Metroid (Countless planets all with layers and layers of life), Pokemon (As stated, probably infinite universes, all of which have tons and tons and tons of Pokemon), Starfox, Bayonetta, Earthbound, etc. I like how this also implies that because Smash is Nintendo's all-star crossover game, this means that Galeem has likely killed all the other antagonists on the list
And if you consider the Kingdom Hearts games, then technically, wouldn’t every Disney property also be included, up to the Star Wars galaxy and the Marvel multiverse?
@@knightofarkronia8652 I wouldn't count star wars or Marvel until they canonically appear in a game but otherwise yes, add disney universe to the list.
It's terrifying to think that Smash hosts a being so powerful, capable of erasing everything on the videogame realm on a multiversal scale in a matter of seconds with literal light speed, that did ACTUALLY succeed in doing so, and yet Kirby managed to stand on it's way and save everyone Same applies to Dharkon, although they only get to do this on the "Dark" ending of WoL once Galeem dies, which isn't the real ending

Galeem destroys reality itself, rebuilds it, and even with that our little Pink Demon can't be killed. The best thing is that having Void in mind, and that he exists in every universe as long as reality itself exists, AND that is literally the origin of the CONCEPT of reality itself in Kirby's lore, it's canonically possible. Special mention of Shepiroth, who can destroy Galeem in one cut, but not defeat a Blonde-haired dork boy.
Well I mean, it's strongly stated that Kirby is another iteration of Void, and galeem in it's base form can be defeated, it's just that it had the help of the master hands.
I’d argue Count Bleck’s numbers to be even higher, since during the end of the game, he *does* successfully destroy everything before the player brings it back. Not just the universe, though, since he destroys *every* dimension and universe in existence, with his castle being the last.
@@whydalukaton5818 You will not regret it! Paper Mario 64/TTYD are excellent turn-based RPG’s, and Super Paper Mario is more platforming if you’re more of an action kind of person.
Now I imagine Galeem and Count Bleck having a conservation: Galeem - “Hey, what do you do for a living?” CB - “I destroy an incomprehensible amount of living beings.” Galeem - “AYO, SAMEEEEEEEEEEE!”
Watching this made me realize that I believe both the main antagonists of the Earthbound series have no confirmed direct kills I believe Giygas has not killed anyone onscreen, maybe George but I believe it's left vague to how he died. Porky on the other hand has created Chimeras that have gotten several kills such as the Mecha Drago who killed Lucas's mother, though he never killed anyone himself.
If were are using this videos logic then the giygas from buzz buzz's time borought the world into an apocalyptic state which could mean his kills are possibly in the billions. I could also imagine Pokeys kills being in the millions because he travelled through time quite alot and I'm pretty sure it was said somewhere that he recruited people from different timelines
Giygas likely has one of the biggest kill counts of any Nintendo character, as he destroyed an entire alternate universe, but Porky actually has a pretty small confirmed kill count, only being indirectly responsible for the deaths of Hinawa, and maybe Claus.
I’m surprised Fire Emblem got passed over. Ashera (technically it was Yune, but they’re 2 halfs of the same being) caused a cataclysmic flood, Grima ended the world, and Anankos wiped out 2 timelines.
It's confirmed onscreen kills we're looking at. Kills that happened offscreen weren't taken into consideration. That being said, that disqualfies a good chunk of the villians. Although, Arvis(Sigurd) and Garnheff(Cornelius) do have an onscreen themselves. Should also mention that they have to do the deed themselves.
For K. Rool it’s implied that he actually killed 4. Aside from Kasplat, he also probably killed 3 of his minions off screen during the opening cinematic of DK64 after one of them admits that they failed to do what he commanded.
Wait a sec... if Galeem managed to wipe out literally *everyone* EXCEPT Kirby, and Kirby finds himself in the World of Light which the story mode progresses through... what happened to all of the Universes after Kirby and his revived Smash buddies won against Galeem (and Dharkon)? Did they all just go back to normal like the Smash Universe did? Or were they obliterated forever, leading to every single Universe inside of a game cartridge, card, file, etc. to have this sealed fate of just inevitable nonexistence?
Well basically theh were all sent back to their world but if you observe the world map, it kinda seems like every single universes got smashed into one weird planet so maybe they just returned there, idk x)
I never thought that a pokemon antagonist would reach hundreds of billions of kills. But Cyrus is my favorite evil team leader so that proves his power.
@@BJGvideos I think that he would try to recreate other people to be like him since he destroyed the universe because the people of the world were not good for the world or something. But in the anime when Cyrus sees the distortion world he just jumps in because the distortion world matched his image or something. So he might not recreate people because he wanted a world were everybody was like him even if nobody existed other than him . But if he did it would probably be just hundreds of billions of team galactic grunts and the three admins.
@@GoomyFan137 In the games he hates the Distortion World and wants to destroy it along with the rest of things. In the anime we never saw that place though. That was an entirely new world. Closest the anime ever got to the Distortion World was the Reverse World from the Giratina movie. But in Platinum he says that other people will be in his new world, specifically stating you, the player character (and it's apparently plural you so Cynthia as well), as well as "those closest to you" will have their spirit ripped away. He seems to not even think of it in terms of dying, but rather in losing that flawed part of themselves. We know better, of course, that this would absolutely mean that everyone involved would die, but considering "wipe out all creation and everyone in it" seems to be like, step five of a ten step plan where step ten is something like "rule a peaceful and emotionless universe forever", I can't help but think that he sees it as a temporary condition. The only people he really specifically excludes are his direct followers, and I feel like that's got some great theming during the game. Remember when they blow up Lake Valor and some grunts are taunting the flopping Magikarp as being too useless even for them to use? Cyrus on the other hand has a Gyarados. He has a use even for the useless fish, but what he has no use for is the grunts.
@@BJGvideos when I said that the distortion world was in the anime, I had seen a clip called how Cyrus died and it showed him jumping into what I thought was the distortion world and then get destroyed by palkia and dialga. Was that portal the reverse world?
Even though their specific kill counts are ambiguous, I feel like Galacta and Morpho Knight would both have to be pretty high. Morpho is the literal grim reaper of the Kirby universe, so he has claimed an innumerable amount of souls across multiple dimensions, and while this isn’t confirmed, Galacta was implied to have gone on a multiverse-wide, genocidal killing spree in the distant past, destroying planet after planet in a fit of rage. Of the two, I’d have to place Morpho a bit higher though, since he’s been out and about reaping souls since the dawn of time, whilst Galacta’s been sealed in his crystal prison for the last millennia.
After what galacta did to star dream, yeah. I reckon he definitely has a few billion kills under his belt. Wasn’t it confirmed somewhere that he destroys planets for sport?
@@avocadeous I don’t necessarily know about for sport, but he definitely does it nonchalantly; as evidenced by Star Dream saying “he may end up destroying a nearby planet or two in the battle, but such is life.”
Greg, the grim reaper, being from Banjo’s Universe, (Conker and Banjo canonically share one.) should also count. He’s a Grim Reaper. Named Greg, and don’t laugh.
Im surprised Metal Face got in as Xenoblades Rep considering Jin and Malos from 2 and Egil also from 1 did considerably more kills. But *XC1 FINAL BOSS* did score a 10 Billion + kill count
Gonna be honest I think that kirby should not be the only one to survive it. I definantly think they should have randomized it with a few other characters especially when some of the spirit fights in wol have kirby in them. I feel like if they made it a random character travelling across a seperate time line, it would better explain the story a bit.
I would argue that Bleck and Cyrus should also be considered to have infinite kills, as both of them destroyed an entire universe. The thing to remember here is that a universe is ever expanding and it’s size cannot be calculated exactly. Theoretically, a universe contains an infinite amount living organisms. Even in our own universe we continue to search for intelligent life out there as statistically there has to be something else.
K. Rool: Killer Metal Face: Killer King Dedede: Serial Killer Taboo: Serial Killer Bowser: Serial Killer Ridley: Genocide Ganondorf: Mass Genocide Andross: Stellar-tier Genocide Cyrus: Universal-tier Genocide Count Bleck: Universal-tier Genocide Galeem: Multiversal-tier Genocide
Even "popular" characters like Edelgard (whom many will still argue is more "morally grey" or an "anti-hero", despite being a clear antagonist; unless you side with her) could be added to that list. ^ During the course of the war she started, whether it's 3Houses or 3Hopes (and judging by the confirmed size of the continent), deaths that she caused by instigating conflict & direct invasions would *_easily_* number in the tens-of-thousands, if not more.
Ashera petrified most humans and laguz and Yune sank the rest of the entire planet. Not to mention Ashnard's war on Crimea. This of course pales in comparison to the "Hero" King's kill count (at least for someone's play-through). Since AUs count, there is also TMS Medeus to consider.
@@thestylemage2092 You mean _Ashunera_ "sank" the continents ....by *crying,* according to Yune's memory of their past when she & Ashera were still that one goddess.
Gotta love that the kills starts off lightly with 1 or 3 confirmed kills, but by the time it gets to the 6th place, it goes up to the exponentially to the thousands and millions of kills.
Tehehe, funni crocodile killed a dude! *a bit later* SO THERE’S THIS T H I N G CALLED GALEEM AND TWO OTHERS CALLED COUNT BLECK AND CYRUS, THEY TRIED TO WIPE UNIVERSES
Galeem wiped out all universes that are represented in the Smash universe. This includes the Punch-Out universe. Therefore, Galeem has canonically murdered Mike Tyson.
People like to focus on the exterior of these games and call them “childish” but it’s the stuff on the interior or stuff going on in the shadows that’s the darkest some of these games are creepy as hell as you begin to look into them
Doesn’t really make sense including Dedede here. I know he STARTED OUT as a villain, but by the present day he’s completely evolved into a good guy (except for occasional bouts of brainwashing and/or possession, of course). And his playable roles in RtDL and SA are completely heroic ones. Also, you included Count Bleck, but then what about Dimentio? Shortly after he usurps Bleck and takes control of the Chaos Heart, he destroys at least three entire universes (Flip/Flopside, Lineland, and Land of the Cragnons). If Bleck only got a single universe, that should instantly put Dimentio between him and Galeem. Those two complaints aside, though, this was a great concept for a video, and kudos for going to the trouble of counting and estimating all those kills!
I guess than manner in which they were killed along with them being significant characters and not faceless background characters makes it seem like more
What a fun idea, and the lack of audio helps the tone. That said I would like to give some corrections; So, the main "worlds" in Super Paper Mario (all but the Mushroom Kingdom) are dimensions that make up the/1 universe, 1 universe is divided into those "worlds"/dimensions as a guide states, so what Bleck destroyed wasn't a universe but something smaller of unclear size. Super Paper Mario had mistranslations that may have helped on the lack of clarity. Galeem only destroyed the universe, the world of Smash takes place in the "World of Imagination", which is 1 reality. Sakurai did not say that the attack reach into every universe, he only gave a kinda halfass reason that Bayo could not have hided in a certain dimension to avoid the rays of light because a character from that same dimension was reached by that attack too, but it was all in the same universe, which is where we see everyone being reached. Even if Smash had universes or multiverses representative of the franchises in Smash, those realities would not be as big, Smash is a crossover, every character, place and concept in it is a fraction of what they are in their own franchise, Smash even being free to make modifications to things if it feels like it. The PKMN multiverse wouldn't have infinite universes just because in PKMN it may have infinite universes. Again, I like the idea of the video in general and would love to see something similar in the future, like heroes with the least kills.
Cyrus is indeed the pokemon character with the most canon kills, but there should also be a special mention to Lysandre, just like Cyrus from the Team Rainbow Rocket event in USUM, Lysandre comes techincally from a dimension where he succeded on his plan, destroy the whole world and everyone in there aside from the Team Flare members in order to create a better world. Cyrus destroyed a universe, but Lysandre destroying a world is also impresive.
"Lysson"? What language is he called that in? I also wonder just how effective the Ultimate Weapon really would have been since when AZ fired it, it only took out part of Kalos, not the whole world.
Also we don't really know if there are other living being outside of our planet... so Cyrus and Lysandre kill counter is pretty similar. Lysandre let Team Flare live, but it was probably made of 1000 or so people (if we think everyone involved with his work as an inventor and scientist was in Team Flare, that is)
In one of the final cutscenes of Super Paper Mario, Count Bleck did actually succeed in wiping out all universes except his own - including Flipside! And these are the only ones shown, so his real kill count is unknown. Also we still don't know what Dimentio did after the final battle.
4:52 - That manual description makes it sound like the Toads just give Mario a power boost and then leave, kind of like the Toad Houses, so I dunno about that one chief.
Aren't we gonna talk about both of the kirby switch final bosses, as cataclysmic entities that have destroyed or conquered multiple planets I feel that would count more than dedede
I know we never saw them kill anyone, but what about the Aparoids from Star Fox: Assault? Not only am I sure they incurred many casualties directly, they also ensured many more as a byproduct of their assimilation. Edit: also, what about Hades? His scheming alone brought about a war on the Kid Icarus world.
Not to mention how Palutena calculated how many souls Hades would have to consume just to create one Underworld monster, definitely makes Uprising surprisingly dark considering its generally comedic tone.
@@Nosretep Viridi definitely counts. As for Pit's body and Palutena, their attack on humanity stems completely from the Chaos Kin's mind controlling of the latter. So the Chaos Kin would be attributed those casualties.
With Bowser it kinda feels like Mario actually has a higher kill count compared to Bowser. Think about it Mario has squashed countless Goombas and Koopas among many many many other creatures at this Rate Mario has the highest kill count with Nintendo heroes or even in Nintendo history
Didn’t Miyamoto confirm that Mario isn’t actually KILLING his enemies and is actually just knocking them unconscious or something? Also, I’m pretty sure Link has killed hundreds of enemies and bosses. Not to mention Fox McCloud destroying hundreds of ships that contain people on them.
you forgot Commander Tartar (Splatoon 2) who's responsible for 10,007 implied murders, and the reason for those murders is to kill even more. i'm trying to word this in a way that won't spoil Octo Expansion's boss fight
There’s also another Nintendo villain who can match Galeem, Count Bleck and Dementio’s body counts, Xenos from Dragalia Lost. He successfully wiped out the entire multiverse so he can create his own world where everything is predetermined, the only survivors of his plan being a small group of people hiding in the Halidom, a special castle that contains the memories of all existences, who plan to kill Xenos and remake the multiverse before he can create his perfect world, also since the crossovers in Dragalia are cannon, that means he also wiped out the worlds of fire emblem, mega man, monster hunter, persona, and princess connect.
For Bowser, that didn't kill the Toads. Heck, the reason Peach was kidnapped in that game was that her voice would break the spell. Thus, only the bosses he's beaten should count, dropping him below Tabuu. That is, it it weren't for none of HIS kills actually being such either. MH the sole possible exception (but probably not).
It would get sticky as well since some of the creatures they face have unknown sapience levels. Like, is Simon killing those floating Medusa heads a kill the same as fighting Medusa herself? Or are they more animalistic in nature, or are they even sentient? And so on.
The fact that you counted the subspace emmisarys main villian pleases me. 26 years old and to this day it's one of my favorite video game adventure story lines
Yeah and considering the amount of soldiers on the Mechonis sword when he reawakened the Mechonis and also all the colonies he's attacked he's definitely killed within the millions
Raven Beak from Metroid Dread straight up genocided the Chozo (his own species) on SR388 to further his Thanosian plans. His kill count might be even larger than Ridley's for all we know!
Fantastic Vid! Just curious, how would you rank the many FE villians that have killed others canonically, whether it be something like starting a war like Edelgard or the Blood Pact like Ashnard?
I'm curious on how Edelgard could be counted, since she is the good guy in the Black Eagles route. But seing as she is considered a bad guy in the other routes, i guess you could put her in this list. Then to find how many she herself has killed, all you need to do is take all the main story stages and paralouges, and count the enemy NPCs. That's how many Edelgard could technicaly kill
Hmmmm thats a good point as Rhea would be considered the villian in that route, and we see her sentence people to death before the war even starts...do those count?
@@eliassanchez6264 I think they count, because those are comfirmed deaths. I think when counting deaths in video games, cutscenes and character dialouge are the most acurate ones. If you see people dying in cutscenes, then they are comfirmed deaths. If you ser Rhea killing 50 people, then that adds to he "how many has she killed?" count. Another option is npc dialouge. If you talk to npcs, and they mention how many people said character has killed, then that should also be counted. Let's say Dimitri, since he is also a bad guy in the Black Eagles route. If someone says that Dimitri has killed 30 people, and another one says that he has also killed 30, then those 30 people are comfirmed deaths by Dimitri. As for Claude, i think he is neutral in all of the routes, so i don't know if he should be counted as a bad guy
4:42 The string of words "Mario's Friends" can be used to refer to the power-ups themselves. Are you sure that when the manual says "mushrooms" they mean legitimate Toads?
In the very first page of the Manuel they say toads were turned to bricks, and here they say "mushrooms who have bren turned into bricks" so of course it's toads.
Kinda surprised Haltmann didn’t appear in the list, that guy mechanized and killed a lot of planets in planet robobot, you can even seen some in the final battle
Rather thousands. I am unsure if the blender sanitizes them or not, as the process of sanitization seems different. Regardless he’s killed at least 10,007 people.
This is a really cool vid I would like a follow up for more obscure villains or just others like Gigyas from Earthbound or DJ Octavio from Splatoon to name some.
What's really funny is that Cyrus himself is kinda spindly and seems like he would be relatively weak. He clearly doesn't take care of himself at all. See how worn out and prematurely aged he is? He's *not even 30 yet*. He's 27 years old. And I could probably break him over my knee. But once he gets god powers then everyone is fucked.
The Bowser part about Super Mario Bros 1 doesn't really confirmed anything. You literally have the manual right there explaining the Toads rewarding Mario with these power-ups. Seems to implied they have been freed from their block imprisonment.
claus from xenoblade should be way up there. his first failed experiment destroyed his entire universe -2, (him and mayneth) then after that when he became the bionis, he forced the telethi (idk how to spell it don't attack me) to kill the entire population and repeated this process for billions of years before the events of xenoblade 1 happened.
He... kinda did it once with the giants, thats probably why they went extinct. But since the mechonis and the machina is still there, as fine as it is, zanza's destruction should only be limited to the giants, which is probably not a lot, but deserved to be on the list
@@zackrack8942 Idk if you have beaten the game but you haven't, then don't scroll down I meant the old universe, as revealed at the ending scene, when Klaus did the experiment that ended the old universe and created the Xenoblade universe.
O wow now that I read the dialogues in Pokémon USUM all of them really did succeed at their goal, probably that’s the reason all of them have their own respected legendariws
It would be funny to see Rainbow Rocket in another game considering the SwSh villain technically won anyway. Rose prevented the energy crisis, even if he went to prison for it. So very little would change. Now, giving us one where the Legends villain succeeded...that would be interesting!
I know that the estimated amount for the kill counts these villains have achieved is heartbreaking for many, but you know, no matter how many lives these villains may take, we as the players will always triumph over them. Of course, I won't promise that taking down these villains would be easy in any sense, but I never have. We'll still pull through either way. That is my promise to all of you

Wait, didn’t Bowser kill an entire Universe with a black hole at the end of Super Mario Galaxy, causing Rosalina to have to reset everything? Meaning Bowser probably killed Trillions of people.
To be fair and to play devil’s advocate, Bowser didn’t intend to for it to happen, but yes he absolutely caused the destruction of the entire universe and caused the deaths of trillions as many Mario games confirm that there is WAY more sentient life on other planets in the Mario universe besides all those who live on the Mushroom world which led to the Rosalina and the Lumas needing to reset everything.
Rosalina may be the most canonically powerful character in the Mario universe if she can reset time and reality (Alongside Bowser and the Chimp from Galaxy 2. Don’t ask where I got my information from! It’s top secret!
Except Cyrus did still succeeded? Did you not read the USUM part? Granted it's not the one you face in Diamond and Pearl, but it's still an alternate reality version of him that did. Cyrus is just as much of a mad scientist wanting the power of god just as much as Zanza is.
With also an another version of himself causing chaos in another universe, just as much as he did.
@@byronlyons3548 Does Cyrus count as a "mad scientist"? Sure he's insane and he's a scientist but I feel "mad philosopher" would be more appropriate. Ironically, Team Galactic's actual "mad scientist", Charon, is one of the saner and more stable people in the organization. He's hella evil, probably moreso than Cyrus even, but he's sane.
Kind of ironic that despite Count Bleck killing trillions of people and being one of the only Nintendo villains to accomplish such a task, he is probably the most sympathetic.
For Metal Face, Fiora being "killed" is debatable, since her dying would change whats available to the mechons, and make more troops like her, which wasnt the case. Zanza is a god, he didn't die when the spear was thrown, since all that happened was the form he was taking had just split back into being a spirit, but no real body was stolen, meaning no real person died. Sorean is the only confirmed kill.
I'm a bit surprised Anankos from Fire Emblem Fates wasn't on this list. In the storyline 'Children of Fate', the only survivors are the child units. But they are also all from different timelines, and there's a total of 60 characters from both Birthright and Conquest combined. Just counting those ALONE, with 19 children (and therefore 19 timelines), that comes out to 1,140 kills, although they were all revived after Anankos was defeated. And this is only counting the playable cast, too, not even including characters shown to have been killed by him such as Queen Mikoto or King Garon.
I knew Galeem was powerful, but I didn't think he was that powerful to kill infinite universes. Makes it even more ironic how Sephiroth just killed him with one slice, even with how powerful Sephiroth is

Zanza should be on this list
Technically speaking, Star Dreams is in the billions of kills
I understand that these are only confirmed kills, but let’s be real, most of these villains have probably killed a lot more than what was shown here (mainly the ones that aren’t wiping universes)
Is confirmed all Super Mario adventures after Super Mario Bros, are mere teather performances so is very likely Bowser never (intentionally) killed an innocent being after said game.
@@TunaBear64 ...when was that confirmed?

Also for some reason now, looking at Tabuu, I feel like he could be involved in the morpho knight mystery, based on appearance and abilities, maybe some residue of his power spread through out the cosmos of the realities of each character, and a butterfly in Kirby's world just happen to get caught with the strange power, what it to say the "chronological order" of smash bros games exist, shoot Tabuu can manipulate reality for god sake

The best thing is that having Void in mind, and that he exists in every universe as long as reality itself exists, AND that is literally the origin of the CONCEPT of reality itself in Kirby's lore, it's canonically possible.

Giygas likely has one of the biggest kill counts of any Nintendo character, as he destroyed an entire alternate universe, but Porky actually has a pretty small confirmed kill count, only being indirectly responsible for the deaths of Hinawa, and maybe Claus.

Ganondorf: I woke up and I chose violence
Revali: MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, GANONDORF!
Galeem wiped out all universes that are represented in the Smash universe.
This includes the Punch-Out universe.
Therefore, Galeem has canonically murdered Mike Tyson.
OMG! 😱
Oh heavens that's funny
And technically… He murdered the whole Star Fox team, transforming Slippy and Peppy into spirits and Fox and Falco becoming his puppets.
Your kidding me, I had no idea Metal Face was that low. I could have sworn he killed more then just those 3.
He’s probably killed far more off screen, but surprisingly, it looks only 3 are confirmed.
He only directly killed Fiora, "Zanza" and the Emperor, the rest of his kills like Colony 6 were indirect via the Mechon under his command
I guess than manner in which they were killed along with them being significant characters and not faceless background characters makes it seem like more
Metal Face is a good boy, only 3 kills.
By this logic you could say gaming companies have killed off more game universes than any villian.
That gave me painful memories of Drawn to Life The Next Chapter…
What a fun idea, and the lack of audio helps the tone. That said I would like to give some corrections;
So, the main "worlds" in Super Paper Mario (all but the Mushroom Kingdom) are dimensions that make up the/1 universe, 1 universe is divided into those "worlds"/dimensions as a guide states, so what Bleck destroyed wasn't a universe but something smaller of unclear size.
@@BJGvideos oops sorry, I forgot it was called diferent in English. Lysson is in Spanish, Lysandre is in English, gonna edit it :]
@@luirromenjivar1390 You don't have to edit it. It was interesting!
Also we don't really know if there are other living being outside of our planet... so Cyrus and Lysandre kill counter is pretty similar. Lysandre let Team Flare live, but it was probably made of 1000 or so people (if we think everyone involved with his work as an inventor and scientist was in Team Flare, that is)
Don't ROB and Cpt. Falcon collectively have 94 kills after decimating Olimar's Pikmin squad from 100 to 6 in Brawl?
They aren't villains :p
Capt. Falcon slide due to the tripping and he's not à villain
At least Captain Falcon spared Steve, just for Chuggaaconroy! 😉
In one of the final cutscenes of Super Paper Mario, Count Bleck did actually succeed in wiping out all universes except his own - including Flipside! And these are the only ones shown, so his real kill count is unknown. Also we still don't know what Dimentio did after the final battle.
That would be more like Dimentio.
4:52 - That manual description makes it sound like the Toads just give Mario a power boost and then leave, kind of like the Toad Houses, so I dunno about that one chief.
honorable mention: little timmy from super mario maker 2
@@PeterGargan Forgot about that. Yeah, it really was.
@@PeterGargan Yeah Nintendo likes to do that.
@@PeterGargan Viridi used a Nuke on said Army.
Pit's Body and Possessed Palutena had killed many innocents
@@Nosretep Viridi definitely counts. As for Pit's body and Palutena, their attack on humanity stems completely from the Chaos Kin's mind controlling of the latter. So the Chaos Kin would be attributed those casualties.
With Bowser it kinda feels like Mario actually has a higher kill count compared to Bowser. Think about it Mario has squashed countless Goombas and Koopas among many many many other creatures at this Rate Mario has the highest kill count with Nintendo heroes or even in Nintendo history
This wasn't talking about heroes, though.
@@Rediscool9
Again, why are you and JacksonLane02 focusing on that which wasn't the topic of the video?
@@Center-For-I.E.D.Mismanagement I’m just focusing on the comment that I’m literally replying to.
@@Rediscool9
Fair enough.
you forgot Commander Tartar (Splatoon 2) who's responsible for 10,007 implied murders, and the reason for those murders is to kill even more. i'm trying to word this in a way that won't spoil Octo Expansion's boss fight
There’s also another Nintendo villain who can match Galeem, Count Bleck and Dementio’s body counts, Xenos from Dragalia Lost.
He successfully wiped out the entire multiverse so he can create his own world where everything is predetermined, the only survivors of his plan being a small group of people hiding in the Halidom, a special castle that contains the memories of all existences, who plan to kill Xenos and remake the multiverse before he can create his perfect world,
also since the crossovers in Dragalia are cannon, that means he also wiped out the worlds of fire emblem, mega man, monster hunter, persona, and princess connect.
9:10 I can't believe that one of the most villainous of villains go by my name U~U
This is certainly New! Magnificent Work
Since Sora is in Super Smash Bros, Does this mean Galeem killed everyone in the Disney universe as well?
I don't think Sakurai would be allowed to confirm Galeem canonically killed Donald Duck of Goofie
@@TunaBear64 "Galeem killed Bambi's mom"
@@ArmaBiologica35 "Galeem killed The Force" (and yes, Star Wars is likely to appear in Kingdom Hearts IV)

Galeem performed a genocide run in Undertale 💀
You could say that dedede isn’t even a villain for almost every game he’s in other than Kirby’s dreamland the opponents he killed Kirby has killed too
Yes, but it's funny having an entry on this list who's entire kill count also contributes to his series' hero's kill count.
@@StarshadowMelody that is true especially when the hero is known for being cute
I recommend doing this for all of the playable characters in Ultimate. (It will get ridiculous very quickly.)
Metal face will forever be the only recognized xenoblade villain due to his appearance in smash lol.
Egil, zanza, jin, malos, amalthus, and many others: am I a joke to you?
I’m thinking either Ganon/Ganondorf or Galleem has the highest kill count.
Same
Same
You were right
Possibly...
Cyrus is even more dangerous that Ganon confirmed
Doesn’t Egil deserve to be on this list? He created the mechon including Metal Face and he is pretty much the Thanos of Nintendo.
Yeah and considering the amount of soldiers on the Mechonis sword when he reawakened the Mechonis and also all the colonies he's attacked he's definitely killed within the millions
Yeah but Probably Kl* * * killed more people because of the whole “experiment”
@Reynism You’re a life saver.
Can we consider the dark ending for WOL with Dharkon as he consumed all universes with darkness in that ending
and he did ACTAULLY NO 1 UP -1 LIFE KILL mario, which means, everyone else died too
Raven Beak from Metroid Dread straight up genocided the Chozo (his own species) on SR388 to further his Thanosian plans. His kill count might be even larger than Ridley's for all we know!
And yet my final hit on Galeem was when Villager 'accidentally' dropped a plant pot on him.
This is such a good video, I hope this will explode in views!!!
Galeem: Kill everything in smash universe
Kirby: *survive
Galeem: I'm fu*ked.
The bosses kill counter may sound too much creppy, but its still intresting how powerful bosses got its own charge.
4:42 The string of words "Mario's Friends" can be used to refer to the power-ups themselves. Are you sure that when the manual says "mushrooms" they mean legitimate Toads?
Well the Toads in that manual were referred to as “mushroom retainers”, so yeah I think they are actually Toads.
Technically, Cyrus also had infinite kills because every blade of grass contains literally infinite Pokemon
oh
tf? never thought about that
the tall grass does spawn infinite pokemon
I think it’s safe to assume Galeem is the Thanos of the Video Game universe.
I agreed with you on that it galeem because that there is powerful and evil too take over the super smash bros ultimate and make character evil
However, he destroys only half the universe, not all, so Galeem is Thanos but doubled
@@Plugytheplug good point.
Dammit I know you from My Wife left me posts xd
I'm surprised you didn't put characters like Tartar since he canonacly turned millions into zombies
Rather thousands. I am unsure if the blender sanitizes them or not, as the process of sanitization seems different. Regardless he’s killed at least 10,007 people.
@@edgytoucan3444 actually it was about 8000 it was confirmed that not everyone completed the tests and are still on the train/left

Galeem: Has an infinite kill count
Kirby: I’m about to end this man’s whole career
This is a really cool vid I would like a follow up for more obscure villains or just others like Gigyas from Earthbound or DJ Octavio from Splatoon to name some.
Octavio probably did kill people in the Great Turf War but that’s NOTHING compared to what Tartar did
Someone needs to get themselves some real security because these Pokémon villains are no joke,
What's really funny is that Cyrus himself is kinda spindly and seems like he would be relatively weak. He clearly doesn't take care of himself at all. See how worn out and prematurely aged he is?
He's *not even 30 yet*. He's 27 years old. And I could probably break him over my knee. But once he gets god powers then everyone is fucked.
10:16 His is face is like "Oof, I'm scared, my heart is gonna break 💔"
The Bowser part about Super Mario Bros 1 doesn't really confirmed anything. You literally have the manual right there explaining the Toads rewarding Mario with these power-ups. Seems to implied they have been freed from their block imprisonment.
claus from xenoblade should be way up there. his first failed experiment destroyed his entire universe -2, (him and mayneth) then after that when he became the bionis, he forced the telethi (idk how to spell it don't attack me) to kill the entire population and repeated this process for billions of years before the events of xenoblade 1 happened.
MAJOR Spoilers for Xenoblade Chronicles 1 !
I think Zanza could also be included on the list as he destroyed the entire universe.
He... kinda did it once with the giants, thats probably why they went extinct. But since the mechonis and the machina is still there, as fine as it is, zanza's destruction should only be limited to the giants, which is probably not a lot, but deserved to be on the list
@@zackrack8942 Idk if you have beaten the game but you haven't, then don't scroll down

Now, giving us one where the Legends villain succeeded...that would be interesting!
i love how you bringed the cyrus from USUM but didn't bring archie and maxie from USUM that literally dried the oceans/flooded the world

Rosalina may be the most canonically powerful character in the Mario universe if she can reset time and reality
(Alongside Bowser and the Chimp from Galaxy 2. Don’t ask where I got my information from! It’s top secret!
Klaus/Zanza from Xenoblade Chronicles should be on this list. Unlike Cyrus, he succeeded to destroy an universe.
@@byronlyons3548 Is it consider as canon?
@@KevDu67 Yes. Or are we gonna consider Zanza and Klaus as two separate unrelated entities, when that isn't the case?
That's how I see it too
I'm a bit surprised Anankos from Fire Emblem Fates wasn't on this list.
Makes it even more ironic how Sephiroth just killed him with one slice, even with how powerful Sephiroth is
to be fair Galeem had to kill and absorb a lot of Master Hand and Crazy Hand to be able to do his best attack
I love the format of this video
