So, fun fact about Metal Face, all of the other "Face" enemies in the game are named after colors, like Green Face, Golden Face, etc. Metal Face's name had to be changed in localization because his color was Black. Obviously that name did not sit well with Western audiences.

Almost every game directed by Sakurai has a crazy kill count antagonist. Kirby villains, apparently Smash Bros villains, and all three major villains from Kid Icarus Uprising committed genocide or at least attempted it

I’m assuming the “Pokémon world has infinite universes” is referring not only to the Mega/non-Mega timeline (aka if AZ does/doesn’t fire the Ultimate Weapon) but also to the ultra wormholes which connects tons of universes together like the alternate Alola (where you can get the second Cosmog), the Ultra Megalopolis, and all the UBs worlds

You have mirror cave where for every mirror there is a universe with its own mirror cave, you have ultra space which contains countless universes, each dream becomes realities shown by dream worlds and even the games seem to have each save file being there own universe

Yeah, it's kinda BS that Metal Face got on the list but some of the other Xenoblade characters didn't. All three games have characters with higher kill counts than that old bucket of bolts does. With continent destroyers, soldiers hell-bent on genocide, gods, etc., it's weird that they went with the guy who isn't even the main villain of the game.

I believe Metal Face's name is the result of his... unfortunate sounding japanese name. The Face models that aren't mass-produced all have designations based on names of colours, like Gold Face or Jade Face. His name was Black Face, so the translation team probably noticed how wrong that would sound and changed his name so that it matches how all of the other major Face mechon are also named after metals. Also, Silver Face got changed to Face Nemesis, which I genuinely don't understand.

As a Kirby fan I'd argue the placement of King Dedede on this list of villains, since he's technically only an antagonist in the very first game in the series and then goes on to become a frenemy/recurring rival/boss who gets possessed a lot. I'd consider Dark Matter and its relatives to be the actual major villains of the Kirby universe, but considering Dedede was a villain for one game I suppose it could count here 🤔
Also love the Super Paper Mario rep, that game goes so hard and is so underrated!!!
I love how Dedede is way more of a threat when he’s a HERO than when he’s a “villain”. The worst he did when he was a “villain” was just steal all the food in Dreamland. That’s it.
I don't think Dark Matter actually has any confirmed kills, though. Dark Matter possesses, not kills. I'm not even sure who could even go on here if you do discount Dedede and Meta Knight from the running. The dark matter family possesses (and Haltmann mechanizes, which might as well be the same thing) Nightmare mostly sticks to the dream world, Marx got neutralized before he could do anything, and while there is a good chance that the remainders (Dark Meta Knight, Galacta Knight, Magalor, Sectonia, Hyness, Void Termina, and Fecto) have killed in the past, we don't have any concrete examples. There is also the butterfly, but going off of precedent, Galacta Knight is probably still alive somewhere, even after being absorbed. Honestly, of any character in the Kirby series, Kirby himself most likely by far has the most confirmed kills, since being inhaled by Kirby seems to be one of the only ways you even CAN die in the Kirby universe, and even that's questionable.
Somehow I knew/rooted for Count Bleck or Dimentio to get on this list. I played Super Paper Mario and would know that. (God I love Super Paper Mario.)

Super Paper Mario is the darkest Mario game in my opinion. This is only *one* universe that was destroyed. The whole point of the game was to prevent it from happening in *every* universe. Even Heaven and the Underworld were in peril so even the dead weren’t safe. Actually Dimentio is even worse than Bleck considering how he manipulated everyone and turned Luigi evil.
I believe Dimentio at the end actually SUCCEEDS in destroying MULTIPLE universes at the end of the game which makes his kill count incalculably high and after he is defeated, Dimentio straight up decides to destroy literally EVERY UNIVERSE in existence.
Imagine having an infinite kill count and STILL fail to kill everyone... xD

Fun but not well know fact about Majora's Mask, on a side quest you have to stop Sakon, a thief, from stealing bomb shop's owner a bag full of bomb bags, normally you hit Sakon with your sword to make it drop the lady's bag, but, if you throw a bomb at him while he is carrying the bag, he will, literally, explode and be reduced to dust, on screen, the quest will fail, and Sakon will be nowhere to be seen until you go back in time

This list is missing 2 crucial villians that could have easily taken #2 and #3. Zanza from xenoblade 1 and Giygas from earthbound. Giygas went insane and destroyed the entire dimension in the future. Zanza deleted a universe and made 2 more from it.
Nah, Bleck is #2. His goal and ability was the same as Galeem, he just failed when the universes were starting to get destroyed. Galeem succeeded though.
If Cyrus is on the list due to killing everyone in a parallel universe, shouldn't Lysandre also be on there? In Pokemon Y, his plan was to wipe out the entire population except team flare using Yveltal's death ray, and in UM he returns with a Yvelatl in his party, so technically he succeeded in wiping out the population in the alternate universe he comes from.
Lysandre's plan is so...small compared to Cyrus's. One region, one planet...compared to an entire universe?

Hakeem is what we call a glass canon; he might be able to beat basically anyone, but as sephiroth demonstrated for us, it isn’t really all that difficult to take him out.
The Hero of Time not appearing in The Wind Waker is not because he wouldn’t appear but was likely unable too. Link was sent back to his own time in Ocarina of Time so he would be unable to even know what was happening.
Yeah that Link would go on to directly go to Majora's Mask while Ganon is being busy being sealed away and scheduled to be executed which eventually leads to Twilight Princess where he is able to free himself.

You could argue Count Bleck's Kill Count is even higher. Cause there are presumably more worlds than what we see in each of the Chapters. It just so happens that we get to see one destroyed as it happens.

@@gageunruh3574 Yeah, we know that earth isn't the only inhabited planet in Pokémon, since some species are explicitly aliens, but we know nothing about their original worlds so population counts would be impossible. I'd rank Cyrus as "immeasurable"
Especially since, even though he plans on having others in his new world, he only has knowledge of one planet and thus could only resurrect a tiny fraction of the total population of the universe. Unless he planned on divine power giving him a cosmic understanding of all life everywhere and acting accordingly, then that's a massive number of beings who are not only dying, but remaining dead.
All because one guy can't cope with his own emotions and thinks nobody else can either.

He isn't exactly old enough to really think things all the way through. As ALOT of people below 30 are very impulsive in decisions...and ya gotta hand it to him he did succeed in a universe and who knows how many others since pokemon has a multiverse.

In Ultra, he mentions that a shadow was about to overtake him, implying that Giratina survived, so chances are that the Distortion World is still around. I figure that means he "only" destroyed the one universe, and was nabbed by Giovanni before he could create a new one. Geez, which means he'll be returning to an empty void inhabited by a furious antimatter dragon and literally nothing else.
@@BJGvideos not necessarily, arceus can create the creation trio in each universe. As the unreleased event in pokemon hg/ss shows us. And in the pokemon manga arceus again makes the trio as they didn't exist in the manga yet/that universe.
Arceus has shown to be universal/multiversal depending on how you see him, eitherway his kids CANNOT destory him so cyrus using dialga and palkia together wouldnt be able to destroy arceus only the existing universe and recreate...which he did in rainbow rocket, however once that new universe is born and let's say it also destroyed the distortion world and dialga and palkia after to make sure nobody could undo his work (even tho I'm pretty sure they were on his team)...we just established arceus can recreate them at will.
So after he destroyed the universe and probably garitina arceus probably just made his banished son again specifically to punish cyrus.
Cause correct me if I'm wrong but arceus did not make humanity it made pokemon and pokemon made humans, the lake trio to be specific (at least in some universes not all follow this lore) so I would assume god would be pretty upset that something he didn't make destroyed 1 of his universes especially since at the time arceus in all lore released at the time HATED humans to the point he faked being captured in the manga so he could trick the humans into witnessing him make his 3 kids and used them to test humans resolve and only called the slaughter off once arceus saw gold have a bond with togepi.
So yes cyrus did his goal but its VERY likely that arceus is now using his kid to punish him and only allowed cyrus to get taken into rainbow rocket to get his but kicked by a kid and then be returned for his punishment, insult to injury if you will.
And of course there is also the option that cyrus in other universes have succeeded too but are in the middle of punishment.
That's the realistic view but you could also say the shadow was what brought him to rainbow rocket in the first place and not garitina for a more "happy ending" for cyrus or that when they return him he is out of garitina way for the current moment

I'm not entirely sure if there are other characters that deserve to be at the top, but it seems VERY strange to me that Metal Face is there and not other Xenoblade characters, it can be argued that Zanza has been the cause of many deaths with the life cycle and death he did with the Telethias (I wouldn't be entirely sure whether to count what is explained at the end of the game), Jin has been shown taking down entire Mor Ardain military squads, all the Blade Eaters sacrifices Amalthus made, I think He doesn't even need an explanation (after an attack he made he says that he will have killed hundreds, maybe thousands of people, not to mention that he is responsible for all the deaths caused by the Mekon), etc.
i'll put sturm in top 5, cuz hes literally an cruel alien dictactor that will send all of his units and crush their enemies no matter the casualty just to reach his goal

Ganon had More kills than you would think. If we take the Population of medieval Earth, let's say 250 Million, and multiply it by the amount of games where Ganon genocided Hyrule, we should get a more accurate number. The Games are Zelda 1, Zelda 2, ALTTP, OOT, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and BOTW. I don't count TOTK because most NPCs seem to still be alive. This equals a total of 1.75 Billion kills.

Hey Patterz! I know I've been asking this before, but I really think you should react to the Xenoblade timeline! It would be a cool random series to start learning about!
If he did, it would be INSANE spoilers for the series. I feel like Xenoblade is a series better experienced first-hand than through a timeline video. It let's you get more emotionally connected to the characters, which I'd argue is one of the most important parts of the games, especially for 2 and Torna.

And *possibly* Cyrus's since he had said others would be in his new world, including specifically naming two of his enemies (though not his grunts, who he saw as useless), but in Ultra he hadn't yet gotten to the stage where he could reshape anything before being nabbed and brought to Alola.

Lmao Metal Face/Mumkhar isn't even close to the Xeno character with the most kills. Zed from XB3 has killed billions over thousands of years within the simulation that is Aionios, Zanza destroyed the entire solar system that then killed billions of people over and over in his created ether world, even Malos from XB2 killed millions, possibly billions by destroying three entire continents. If you count general Xeno it gets even more insane, as in the world of Xenogears Deus/Miang ended THREE highly advanced civilizations one after another each likely numbering billions each, and Wilheim from Xenosaga destroyed the universe thousands of times in an endless cycle.
