I am so grateful for your positive and encouraging advice. I especially relate to keeping comparisons to only my past self and not others. Thank you!

Thank you . This was very helpful to me. I was wondering if I measured everything correctly how come it wasn’t the correct size when joining the pieces together. This was very helpful because you gave me ways to make corrections. Thank you again.

Thank you for sharing all the different measurements about being off. I never heard it explained like that before NOW it makes since!!!! If you could just slow down when explaining for us beginners.

      You are very welcome!
By slow down, do you mean talk slower, say it more clearly, or give more examples? I know I’m faster on UA-cam than I am in my courses because, well, UA-cam. I actually started my video creation over on TikTok and that was even faster 😂.
But do definitely let me know what would make it easier. I want to make things as clear as possible. 🙂🙂❤️

@@vickyadams3007 Did you know that you can play the video at any spped you like, There is a settings icon at the bottom of the screen. I looks like a flower or a gear. Click on it and see that the default is 'normal' but you can make it go faster or slower by choosing a different setting. Start with .75

This is such a helpful video! Do you have any tips on cutting accurately? I often find that I’ll cut a piece and then go back measure it and it’s suddenly an 1/8” shorter! I’m never sure where exactly on the ruler to line things up - the middle of the line or to one edge

I'm so glad it was helpful :)
I line things up on the middle of the line. My rulers have dots on some lines which is really helpful to make them line up right one the line. What kind of ruler is this that it's not clear??? Seriously, I am thinking of reviewing rulers for things like this :)
I have on the list to do a cutting accurately video. So far I have these videos. I think the first one might help too - maybe your ruler is slipping as you cut?

@@prettysimplesara Thanks, that’s really helpful! My ruler’s from Creative Grids

@@tobarrett that’s interesting. I love Ceeative Grids specialty rulers but I’ve never just tried a ‘normal’ ruler from them. What’s the name if the ruler? Maybe if I see a picture of it I can help better.
