happy travels! I'm always glad I wait to see you on the full size tv at home. This sure didn't show an ocean side view, but its a hell of alot better than going to work! Take care!
Last year i did the NC500 in Scotland UK. Crossing the US is next on my bucket list :-) I completely forgot to factor in the huge gas bill on crossing the US Thanks for sharing and top tip! Bring earplugs for night time for the truck stops 😁
@@EatSeeRV haha awesome i cant believe you’ve even heard of the NC500 over in the US! Top tip from someone who lives local to the NC500 Don’t come in the middle of Midge season you’ll get eaten alive! Also watch out for the Wild Haggis 😝😂 Hope ur well 😁
It's so nice to see a nice couple like you having a great time together! I wish I had that! In the next six months or so, I'm buying a new 32 foot Class A RV to live and travel in, but sadly, I won't have a wife or girlfriend with me... Outside of my cat, I will be completely alone all the time. I'm 43 years old, and I don't know anybody unfortunately. All of my friends live up north over 850 miles from where I live now. They're all married as well. I'm the only single person in our large group. I'm looking forward to these adventures and continuing to work from my laptop as little, or as many hours as I want, as a day trader... But traveling is never as fun when you're alone. There will be days where I probably won't say a word or even see anybody for the entire day. Ah, who knows what the future will bring though? It's been so long now, that I don't even know how to meet anybody lol. Especially women. Anyway, sorry for the sob story. I really am looking forward to this, and I love traveling, so I will make videos of these adventures. I'm so glad I found your channel! I will subscribe after this comment. Safe travels & best wishes to you both! -Chris
On longer / longish travel days, I make sure we either have leftovers or a cauliflower pizza crust we can decorate. Good for you to cook a spaghetti squash! Oh yeah - I'd go that lower route instead of I-10 also - so much better...
So....I know where that is and we actually stayed in the same spot as you but the heat scared us off! 😅. Plus we went to see the dark night sky and it was a full moon. Is the sky as dark as they say it is?
We didn't see a ton of stars when we were there but I can only imagine. Hope we get to go back to see. It wasn't too hot when we visited, although a bit warmer than we normally prefer.
Just drove that route in the opposite direction and luckily missed all those storms. Presently in Page on are way to Moab hoping to check out some of those locations in Oregon you suggested on our way to Washington
I got up one morning before dawn at your magic spot because Venus, Mars, Saturn and Mercury were supposed to be visible before sunrise. Actually it was a day or two late for Mercury, which moves quickly. As I was watching the three planets, a light blinked on at the ridgeline about 30 miles away. At first I thought it was maybe car headlights, but then it rose slowly into the sky--it was Mercury.
Plane rides are just as annoying if not more. Long drive weeks like this are exhausting but I'm still so happy to have our home with us wherever we go. And can cook our own meals! But it's not for everyone
Aw poor things. They are used to it by now. Our first truck we kept them in a crate and they hated it and howled now they are free roaming in the RV and don't howl.
Hmmm, how much gas? Chevy, aerodynamics of a building, weight of a loaded mini storage. OUCH ! $1338.40 nearest guess without going over ! Dennis, keep those tires inflated please. Maybe a Nascar duct tape treatment will help with your aerodynamics handicap.
Hair falling out is a lack of something…Vit D, K2, collagen, not sure what, but I was having that problem and it is not normal to lose that much hair. Thyroid medicine can also cause it, lack of usually. 1,600. In fuel..
Thanks! Got my vitamin and levels checked recently and all we're good. I think it's that I rarely brush my hair. I think that was three days no brush haha 😆 so it was built up hair. But definitely something to look into
Did you encounter any problems on the road? Such 😢as crazy Drivers. Motorcycle gangs, etc.. Which can be very frustrating people riding close. Was it aggravating?
@@EatSeeRV as I drive around, I noticed RVs broken down on the side of the road or they are being towed. Or they’re stuck in traffic they can’t maneuver around an accident. I’m struggling with the advantage of having one I would just rather book a reservation at a nice hotel, and a nice destination and call limousine to drive me there . I see it as a hassle. Sorry too much stress involved. Rather take a plane.
Out of curiosity, where do you keep your cat while traveling? I have six cats, told hubby we’re a package deal…lol I also have a Cane Corso, she has her own seatbelt and harness. Which I wouldn’t be able to do with my cats, they would flip. But I want them to be safe.
Sure wish you guys were more comfortable stopping and visiting with your UA-cam followers on your path, but I understand. You are in a hurry, long trip, and the fear of running into some stalker nutjob follower who will just be creepy and a waste of time. Seeing you pass thorough Phoenix and I was excited but bummed that you just gotta keep on the road! Safe travels!
I know! We do stay in touch with our Patreons and have met up with several of them. Our plans change so frequently too sometimes its hard to coordinate. We appreciate your understanding and hope we can meet up one day!
speaking of carving initials, American tourists just video'd a vandal carving his girlfriend's name on a wall at the 2 millennia old Colosseum in Rome! 😳
Beautiful pictures you share with us in your travels Dennis and Liz! I enjoy being with you two in your travels!
Thank you David :)
Love this video......fun to watch the more regular/ordinary/normal parts of RV travel.......bravo
Thank you! Glad to see you commenting here again.
Thanks!
THANK YOU!
Thanks for building in respect for RVing sights. We must forge our own trails and take our own adventures
Very true. - Dennis
Happy you two are coming back home for a spell! Please stay safe!
Thanks David. Where are you in Florida? Or do you just mean the USA?
You are so right! We named our 27' class C motorhome "The Turtle" because travel takes so long!
Haha slow and steady wins the race
happy travels! I'm always glad I wait to see you on the full size tv at home. This sure didn't show an ocean side view, but its a hell of alot better than going to work! Take care!
Haha 😆 we're missing the ocean views too for sure
We enjoy your videos and we subscribed!! Happy travels💕Zack & Linda
Thanks for joining us! So glad to have you here
So real vid….it’s the long haul of RVing. Thanks guys. Come see us near Ocala !!!
Thanks 😊 long hauls aren't fun but sometimes necessary haha
Another great video, you guys don't sugarcoat some of the unavoidable negative parts of RVing!
Thanks Paul, appreciate you watching 😊

Thanks so much for sharing another wonderful video like always, I can't wait to see your next adventures👍🙏🤗
Thank you for joining us Miguel, we appreciate you!
Nice vid, love your adorable cats!
Thank you 😺❤️
At least you are leaving Calif

That's smart to have! Do you make your own or get it somewhere?
@@EatSeeRV on travel days we use the Schar pre-made gluten-free crusts. They aren’t cauliflower ones though - they work for lazy people!
Love this trip video I travel that route back in the days to LA ,,,,, enjoy you stay en San Antonio saludos amigos
Thank you so much! It's a long trip but lots to see along the way
Piccacho peak is a regular stop for us. Love it.
It's a great state park!
Dennis will be hacking up a fur ball like the cats. 😂😂😂😂
Hahahahahah 🤭
That Spot was one of our favorites too!!
It's gorgeous! Definitely a place we want to return to in the future.

Hi, whats the orange thing called that you used to check RV level?
Just a normal level
Just drove that route in the opposite direction and luckily missed all those storms. Presently in Page on are way to Moab hoping to check out some of those locations in Oregon you suggested on our way to Washington
Wohoo! Have a blast!
Way to go, Ollie 🐈⬛. Thanks for sharing the truth. All life has its highs and lows, but I find it's best to go with the flow. 💖🙏✌️
Thanks 😊 olli was a surprisingly good climber!

So cool! Sounds like an experience you'll always remember.
After doing this, would you do it again or rather take a plane to your destination. Less costly and less frustrating.
Plane rides are just as annoying if not more. Long drive weeks like this are exhausting but I'm still so happy to have our home with us wherever we go. And can cook our own meals! But it's not for everyone
How do you keep the cats calm during travel? Our cats howl during the entire time.
Aw poor things. They are used to it by now. Our first truck we kept them in a crate and they hated it and howled now they are free roaming in the RV and don't howl.
Totally get why Bethy loves it!
Right! So magical :)
Thanks for that restaurant in El Paso! Will stop there next time!
Definitely it was yummy!
Are you guys back in San Antonio? We hope to see you again, somewhere! We were recently in El Paso and Las Cruces on our way up to Alaska.
Hiii Brisa! Alaska, how fun. We hope to do that road trip one summer in the near future. Safe travels. :)
So your were at the L & j cafe 23 Days ago, You should have stop by Across the street and visited My Aunt and we can keep that a secret also.
Would you recommend a motorhome or a fifth wheel?
We had a fifth wheel to start and are very happy with our switch to a motorhome. Although it is nice to have a tow (separate) vehicle at times.
Gas $$ Guess = $1350 ... wishing you a safe and beautiful drive.
Thank you! You were close. Luckily a little under r

$1338.40 nearest guess without going over ! Dennis, keep those tires inflated please. Maybe a Nascar duct tape treatment will help with your aerodynamics handicap.
Very calculated. I love it, and also very close!
Love to meet you guys while yall are in San Antonio!
I'm so sorry we missed you! We rarely post our real time location for safety reasons but our Patreons are often clued in for meet ups!
If you guys are near San Antonio, I recommend a beautiful place called Chocke Canyon State Park, it's an awesome place to visit 🐦👍🤗
Sounds lovely, bummed we missed it but will add it to the list for next time.
We’ve been there before! Great state park
It is awesome 😎
$1500
Sooo epik beautiful awesome video
Thank you 💗
I'm going to say at least $850.00 based on 2450 miles divided by 10 miles a gallon at $ 3.50 a gallon.
Sadly more than that 😞

$972.22 should just about cover it. Give or take .22 cents 😁. Be safe out there
As you travel back to Florida, I think I see $540.00 dollars in gas in your class C RV!
Wow 3 fill ups and we're at $540. Unfortunately, much higher.
YEP! TRUTH! ❤ Love the reality kids! Thank you!
Thanks for watching 😊
@@EatSeeRV ALWAYS ❤️ LOVE U GUYS! ❤️❤️

Annoying drivers are everywhere. Just like annoying flyers are 😂 never had issues with crime

It's a great spot!
$1362.50 did you add your driving around SAT, or just road fillups?
Just road fill-ups. We rode the motorcycle around SAT. - Dennis
350 gallons at about $1300.00
You're close!
Out of curiosity, where do you keep your cat while traveling?

One stays in their kitty corner up top, the other stays in our lap.
I know your secret spot, we love as well. Lips are sealed!
Thank you David!
What is your gas consumption with your RV?
We get about 9.5 miles per gallon.
I would say it cost you guys near $1800.00 in gas ,,,,,
Thank heavens it wasn't that much!
Lol I did my math wrong probably half of that , hey another question , in Cabo you where able to see the Wales ?
I'm guessing around 1100 dollars for fuel enjoy !
Close!
Do realize that you told us your aunt's favorite camping spot? We figured it out by the map in the stop 1 section. We won't tell anyone.
Thanks. It's not a secret but we're not geo tagging it either making it super easy to find.
You only drove 20 to 30 miles off the main road to get to the secret place.
My guess for the total cost of gas: $790.
WAY low! I wish haha!
amazing
Thank you 😊
Kathy and I think it will be $1200
Phew, a bit low. Although I would have loved that!

Good guess! A bit high though. Thankfully gas prices went down the closer we got to Florida.

Oh my gosh. No way! That's sad. People don't make sense sometimes.
Arriving too late with no reservations is not for me
It's not advisable haha 😆
$1200 on gas?
Very close!
700/-$ is my estimate.
That's low!
$1,800
I’m going with $1,100
A bit more but not far off
$1385
Good guess! Close but a little over
