If you ever eanted more rattling guns, try using the plastic stormvermin bodies with irondrake guns. Add some turrets from 40k onto those irondrake guns, and have a second rat be equipped with anything 40k like machine that he carries on one of his sides. The machine could be anything from a 40k backpack to a sawed up heavy bolter, autocannon etc.
Thats a really nice army, great showcase. I enjoyed the close up shots, what a collection and some lovely old hidden gems in there. For something painted across eight years, its blends together seamlessly. If you have a preferance, do you enjoy painting the warmachines and larger creatures or the regular sized Skaven the most?
I loved painting the rat ogres and stormfields best. The warp lightning cannon was really hard because it came assembled and I labored to get to the many hoses and metal bits that are all over the wooden boards.
@@hobbyistfirst961 Oh I painted the Plague Catapult alternate, those hoses and metal bits are little devils. The Plague Furnace / Screaming Bell has lots of fiddlybits scattered and hidden all over it too. I think my Plague Furnace took about a week.
i wanted to do a small Skaven Army for a long time but most of their models are just far too outdated. A shame if you're looking at how liked they are in Total War Warhammer.
I totally love your style of painting. It looks very adequate for fantasy battles armies with their battalions and regiments
Awesome, thanks for the great video. Really gorgeous Skaven army and I love your mixture of different styles/GW and Reaper or different ♥️
I love the army and really appreciate the color breakdown at the end, great job!
Thank you. I’m expanding the army with more rat ogres right now and will follow up with a bunch of jezzails.
