I was drawn to the class because I have absolutely no interest in narrow colour scheme designs like I/L and Kain. Classes like that are cool for a bit but get boring quickly. Hoyoung is a class that never seems to lose its visual appeal no matter how long you play it - probably the most beautiful and unique looking class in the game. As a main, it's incredibly rewarding. The micromanagement becomes muscle memory, and the tonic QoL change was so nice, dealing with the main criticism many people had, which was the burst setup. The class' damage, utility and overall kit make the effort worthwhile. It's a class that makes you feel like a beast, especially once you start to play it with any sort of competence. As a boss mule, yeah nah.
I have a 275 hy mule. It is objectively not a good mule at nlomien level and burst setup in damien p2 is a little annoying if you don't know what you're doing (annoying even when you do). You could spread your 3 minute burst buffs across like CRA or something I guess. If you take it to ctene level though HY is very good at every boss except maybe Will (the different segments make it annoying to distribute damage). Class benefits heavily from gene . Very fun class though. Main skill ceiling for the class is knowing how to dps when you can't spam ground wave every second, and that involves utilizing gale, humanity fan, and flames properly. Burst setup is not that bad and gets even easier after the next patch.
Great to hear my opinions are validated by someone with heaps of experience 🥹. Not using scroll/talisman energy for 3 secs will be great in new update - will take even less time to set up
you should show us the cp / gear / nodes how it looks like inside the game and a burst on lotus with all of this i hope if u can do that i will appreciate it

HY is definitely better as a main. The investment is so heavy for a mule, for sure the coolest class tho.
