    This is really precious information for collectors/ investors, nothing quite like this advice right now on YT and actually is not usually spoken about so openly, I cannot disagree with any of it :) Great video as usual smpratte!

    I don’t collect Pokémon cards, I collect baseball, but this is a great video for all card collectors.

    WOTC Black star promos are my bread and butter. I am sure you remember when it was easy to get bulk, mint, limited stock for so cheap as well. Even now, a lot of them are still accessible in large numbers.

    Another great video, I built a lot of my collection between 08-13 flipping but never looked at long term investing unfortunately. That is changing now however.

    I’m from the UK and loving the pronunciation of “niche”. American English makes perfect sense. Plus, everything is spelled phonetically. Everyone in academia in the UK seems to hate Americanisms... I think they’re awesome!

    @smpratte Your always talking about different websights for buying/selling top end pokemon cards but I never know where you are talking about... and with the internet so cluttered I don't know the best places to start looking. So this is a request for a "top 10" video, on the 10 biggest and most trusted of pokemon tcg buying Avenues! Thank you for all the grate content and keep doing great things!

    Do you sell PSA 10 foil Arboks, Ekans and/or Sevipers?

    how can i find info on what cards are rare/low population and what cards aren't? is there population or pull-rate charts for each card somewhere?

    • @blakeconklinUSN1985
      @blakeconklinUSN1985 Рік тому

      No. The only pop reports that I'm aware you can find is graded cards from different card companies, aka PSA. As far as pull rates, unless someone or a company opens a crap ton of boxes, they may only give you an estimate but that doesn't really hold any weight.

    Questions:
    I got a SR Gardy (DEX) PSA 10 (Pop. 5) should I sell it now, or hold on to it?
    Also, if sell it now, what should I price it at?
    and what should I price a PSA 9 Holo Bleed EVO Charizard? (and again should I wait to sell it)
    And should I wait to sell a Staff Promo Charizard PSA 9 now or later?
    Thanks!

      If you want specific information like this, Smpratte has a patreon in the video description!
      I would be interested to buy the gardevoir depending on what you value it at

      I wouldn't give away a pop. 5 for that cheap

      I think you commented on my trade thread on pokebeach, maybe we could make a trade, for a higher value. But what do you value it at then? If you have been watching Scott's other videos, low POP doesn't mean through the roof value, especially based on how few of these were graded in general, many more will be graded in the future. I could work with a trade value of a bit over 100

    $20 card for a $20 card, and eBay makes their 15% 🤢🤢🤢

    • @Apex-rl4fb

      Pokemon PSA - Brad with so many other avenues to sell eBay is no longer the only option. I sell a ton on IG, Reddit, even locally at times. Feebay won’t kill me with fees unless it is my last resort to move a card.

      How do you go about searching for specific cards on IG? Can't grasp my head around it, is it just down to the hashtags or is there a trick to it?

    • @Apex-rl4fb
      @Apex-rl4fb 6 років тому

      As for searching for specific cards it is pretty easy, as long as someone has the card you are looking for. It is all about networking, if you post a wants picture with the cards you are looking for someone might see it and have the card or someone who saw that picture could tag you on someones photo who has it. Word of mouth still goes a long way.

  • @ImVeryBrad
    @ImVeryBrad 6 років тому +1

    I'm keeping all my cards for a while yet. I may sell if I want to buy a 2nd house or fix up a family owned farm for future use. Other than that I'm just going to kick back and soak in the dollar bills

    The only reason why you haven't talked about the 1st ed base set box that sold for 54k on ebay is because you probably bought it and don't want to tell anyone... haha
