    Beautiful video! Just a quick reminder. Lowering your ISO too much can actually reduce your dynamic range. I came across a couple of UA-cam videos discussing this for iPhones, and they both reached the same conclusion. The most practical ISO level for iPhones is around 1600, where noise can be easily cleaned up in post-production, and you still retain maximum dynamic range.

    • @vedroelcitra
      @vedroelcitra  2 дні тому

      Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried it, I might be too lazy to apply noise reductions. Low iso is easier for me and I don't really pixel peep :)

    Wonderful footage!!!! I notice that you used a step-up ring to connect your 52mm Urth filter to Sandmarc telephoto lens. May I ask if I buy a 43 mm filter, do I need a step-up ring as an adapter as well?

    • @antnguyen
      @antnguyen 2 місяці тому +3

      I actually purchased the 43mm filter for this reason, thinking, "oh, it's going to fit perfectly!" However, what I realized, after it arrived, is that since the 43mm filter fits the lens perfectly, the lens will see the bezel that holds the glass of the nd, so what I see on screen is a perfect circular vignette on my footage. I'm actually in the process of exchanging it for the 52mm with step-up as he's done here, so hopefully you won't make the same mistake.

    DAMN! I’m glad I came across this video. This setup definitely sealed the deal for me when it comes to iPhone cinematography setup. Planning to get the same look as your setup. 😆 I was wondering where you bought your step up ring. Any recommended sites or brands? Also, will the lenses be the same for iPhone 15 Pro Max? 58mm telephoto lens? Would 60mm telephoto lens work if the Sandmarc one is quite expensive for me? 52mm variable ND filter? I do hope you’ll see this comment 😅 Thanks in advance!

    • @vedroelcitra
      @vedroelcitra  23 дні тому

      @@savinthezone the iPhone itself is already great, so imo any similar setup will do good. You just need to know how your setup works. If you’re on a budget, no need to get the lens, but ND filter is very recommended to keep the shutter 180degree
