Finally made it to Radagon after pushing through Malekith and Godfrey. Radagon feels like the culmination of everything this game threw at you, good and not good. But man, to think I have to walk out of this fight with enough flasks for the Elden Beast 😳🤣...
This is by far the hardest boss in the game. Even though Melania took me 30-40 tries to defeat her, I at least always felt like I could beat her even when I died. Elden Beast? He is just very discouraging and I feel I may never beat him. 😔
Elden beast took me quite a few tries too. I ended up winning by using river of blood + bloodhoundstep Uchigatana. BHS to dodge when he moves far away and river of blood for massive damage. (he cant bleed but river of blood does so much dmg that it doesnt matter). use the elixir that absorb damage when he uses elden star and use the tailsman that reduces holy damage. he only have like 22k hp so 5 full combo of river of blood weapon art at 50 arcane 50 dex will kill him buffed with flame.
@@ElijahLotusShield I'll give that a try, I tried speccing into an INT build to use Comet Azur, that didn't work. I just respecced into FAI/ARC build. Hopefully that does the trick. 😬
I beat elden beast a few times before I was ever able to beat malenia. I’m a lot better with her now and am trying to get thru my play through not using summons and beating all remeberance bosses. Right now I’m stuck on maliketh without a summon. I was trying to do them in order and not be op just where I would be if it was my first play through. It’s too easy to go farm and get crazy levels but I’m challenging myself from doing that and using any summon.
Btw Carian retaliation for this fight - trust me - you can parry a lot of the spells from radagon and even the fourth wave from the Elden beast’s holy attack projectile
Yeah found out through spam panic parrying as usual haha - used to hate the fight but it’s now my go to favourite for helping people, a lot of fun mechanics once you understand the fight
Finally , the proper way to get rid of the last obstacle to become The Parry Lord. I thought his Golden Hammer was unparrible and didn't try, I have failed the parry lord's spirit and not befitting a crown.
As a Sekiro player I can say with 100% certainty that the parry being meant to be done when he winds up his attack instead of a split second during the attack makes parrying him a lot harder.
Radagon’s triple attack is actually one of the easiest to dodge as long as you position yourself far away from him. In that way you just need to roll three times to avoid the sacred damage coming from the ground.
@@sarimveesar4350Just keep in mind the 3 lines that show up after he hits and jump in between them. It's easy to roll the first 2 slams, but the third has too much aftershock. So I recommend dodging the first 2 and jumping the third just to look cool 😂
Actually for weaknesses use something that deals strike damage. Both radagon and elden beast only have ~10% resistance to that, where as Radagon has high resistance to everything but strike and fire, and elden beast everything but strike (~40%)
The queue on the radagon grab for me is his back leg that comes forward as he grabs. I always just watch the leg and as soon as he starts stepping I move.
When I did a rl1 run, I wasn't able to use bloodhound step to dodge elden stars I just used the crimsonwhorl bubble tear you can find in the mountaintops of the giants
Great shout on the bubble tear! Thanks for posting. Just in case you’re unaware, there’s nothing stopping you using Bloodhound Step on RL1. The ash of war version dropped by the knights cavalry in Caelid has no requirements. Thanks for watching!
@@ThingfishyGaming I meant it didn't work for me, I was still dying to elden stars/another attack elden beast did at the same time while using bloodhound step
I've been using Tiche in my RL1 run, but I need the Cerulean Hidden Tear to have the mana to summon her, so I can't save my flask for Elden Stars. They just nerfed the hell out of BHS, too. Is there any way to survive Elden Stars at RL1 without either of these things, or am I screwed? I'm at about attempt 800 and kinda losing my mind, lol. Malenia was easier than this.
@@mintegral1719 You could try using the new light roll but I'm not sure if that would help. Maybe put both tears in your physick and wait to summon tiche until the elden beast does elden stars. Sorry I'm not much help. You could try looking up videos of people dodging elden stars hitless. Idk if this would work but you could also try to use talismans to get enough fp to summon tiche without the tear then switch them off to your normal talismans.
Radagon was a pain in the ass to begin with. But when you have to dodge elden stars while the beast is throwing sword swing rays at you it's already over
Yeah unfortunately, certain combinations of Elden Beast attacks are game over. If you want to see a total meme fight, check out the Elden beast fight in my guide releasing today! Just about the worst RNG possible! Thanks for watching!
Great video man, Also, if you aren’t too confident in your roll timing, you can run away from radagon’s delayed grab(it wil miss you every time) and jumping over the aoe stomp is a little more forgiving(and you can squeeze in a jump attack before he flies for the aoe slam)
Great guide! Although the Elden beast ring attack advice can be inconsistent sometimes he appears in front of me sometimes he appears on the other end of the arena and does his little ranged attack with his sword
Yes, indeed! It’s really awesome how many parriable enemies there are in ER! The flail pumpkinhead parry was probably my favourite find after the knife feeted birds. Both made it into video intros somewhere but I couldn’t tell you which ones. Thanks for watching Colour Green!
I was hoping he'd have the answer to that. It's the only thing I can't dodge, and from what I'm reading, and watching in other videos it can't be totally dodged.
This has been the most helpful boss guide so far, thank you! Do you have any tips for the huge wave of gold that elden beast does? That's the one I can rarely ever dodge and I havent found much info on it. Is bloodhound step useful there as well?
What about the lunge stab? He’ll either do a 3 combo starting with it or a really quick 4 small light spear into the lunge stab which is too quick to parry cuz you have to roll through the spears and can’t recover fast enough 😡
I thought I could parry the Beast. Thanks anyway. And the rolling does not seem too difficult to dodge. Except the delayed grab. Thops: this seems easy for me.
Man I used a holy damage negation liver and breezed through him, got a little damage on elden beast then was out of flasks..every try since it seems like his attacks are undodgeable. His tracking and timing are just insane..I feel I could take elden beast easily enough, but right after that bs insta near oneshot onslaught that radagon throws at you..makes you use up your flasks as Ive had no success on certain attacks and you cant even hit him when hes in certain animations you absolutely should be able to
Nice guide and commentary but if you don't mind a bit of feedback I think the background music is much too busy, to the point of being distracting. I know suitable copyright-free music can be a pain to find but if it feels like it might be intrusive I'd err on the side of caution. Your voice and enunciation are both great, leave them some room. Just my opinion, please ignore it if you want. Again, great vid.
Thanks for the feedback, Riddar. I know the music isn’t to everyone’s taste. Wanted to keep all parry guide series high energy, but I’m going to be using some much more chilled stuff for my upcoming longer vids for exactly the reasons you describe. Glad you enjoyed the vid and thanks for watching!
Is it weird to say I felt Malenia is easier than Radagon/Elden Beast? I suppose m’y play style plays a role in the boss difficulty (heavily reliant on shield blocking and parrying vs dodge rolling) Dodge rolling Malenia most times don’t end well, but I suppose the reverse is true for Radagon/Elden Beast
Upgrading a shield doesn't make any difference towards it's parry franes. You're just inputting at the wrong time. Wich is understandable, the parry timing in er just feels weird
is it more difficult after this new patch? i just tried it and it seems to take away my stamina and health when i parry. do i need to level up the shield? or just get better timing?
Idc radagon is hard to the magic spam is killing me whybis everyone acting like he is easy. Out of all of ds3, sekiro and as of where I’m at elden ring he is giving me almost impossible chances of winning. I know I can beat him and I’m not giving up but he is not easy
Radagon is easy if he would be solo. My bloodhound blade take him down and half of Elden beast… and then I’m out of bottles. Need to get talisman against holy damage and something fast and blunt and/or with fire damage
This c*nting headless flying haggis, is ruining what has, up until now been an incredible game for me. I can beat Radagon quite easily but which moron thought making you have to fight them both back to back, meaning if you die to that cowardly headless goose (which, let's face it, you will lol), you then have to fight them both & sit through the same cut scene over & over & over again, was a good idea? It kills all the excitement you initially felt walking into the final arena & ends up turning what is supposed to be the thrilling climax of an incredible journey, lasting hundreds of hours into a tiresome chore. Seriously, it was a terrible idea.
For God's sake learn how to keep your audio levels the same! Volume spikes at the start and the end of videos are just awful and harmful if you're listening on headphones. Also - just keep focused on guide, cringe intro and music is really unnecessary.

The only reason elden beast is hard at all is cuz radabitch takes all the heals
Try using double great swords like the blasphemous blade and some other great sword, do jumping attacks and this will stagger him pretty quickly
