I think someone said this in Nicky's casual review of Briar. They mentioned that Briar's legs being big makes sense since she spends most of her time with her hands chained up, so outside of her frenzy mode, she primarily uses her legs for basically everything. 28:26 oh come on man, you can't say Zoe is like the other 200 years champions who even when they miss everything, they still do a lot of damage... Unlike some broken ass champions, she actually has to hit the spells to do shit, her passive really isn't a excuse because it's meant to add damage to close up combats. Man, the Jax rework was my favorite of the year for the only reason that they kept his cocky/chill wanderer hero attitude intact AND JUST MAKE HIM OLD, like a literal war veteran with emphasis on veteran. I love him so much.
One of my favorite things about the Aurelion Sol rework was the fact that on Wild Rift he was given the ability to move slightly while casting Starfire so it looks less ridiculous than on PC League where the just stand still and ereases you
ALSO, riot completely took Nicky's observation about Asol and just doubled down on what he said..... LOOK AT WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO THE SPACE PUPPER NOW!!! T.T
20:57 thats I reccomend this change: Blood frenzy: Briar self taunts herself, priotizing champions nearby. held: Briar slowly gains back control overherself, slowning herself while getting control to move, she will attack any enemy who's still nearby while doing this. after 1.5 seconds of holding she'll return back to normal. while I like how thematically cool it is, the praticallatiy is way too thrown out the window, This ability change could still stay as thematicall as briar is trying to become more than just a mindless weapon so unlike human's turned creatures like Sion she can gain and control helfself even if it is difficult, slowly returning back giving you the ability to control her even if its just for movement and not relying on her E as the only way to do it. 21:15 my issue with her is her passive, What's the point of it? honestly it could be a passive just added into her W and nothing would change as thats the only time its useful. I want it to actuall matter how many stacks you add on a target so your abilities can have something to be used on: Passive: Crimson curse: brair can't regerate instead gains increase health gain depending on her missing health. Brair's attacks(abilites or autos) apply a curse on a target dealing physical damage overtime and healing her for a portion of the damage dealt. each stack of Curse will grant extra effects. at Max Curse a target will be slown down every hit from Briar, Briar gains 20% lifsteal against them. Head Rush: briar leaps into a unit dealing physical damage and slowing them for 30% for 2 seconds. changes the target of blood Frenzy to the one hit. 3 stacks of Crimson Curse will cripple the target 5 stacks will Shatter armor 7 stacks will stun the opponent for 1.5 seconds Blood Frenzy/Snack Attack: Active: Brair Breaks her Pillory becoming frenzyed, where she self taunts to the nearest enemy(priotizing champions)m gaining increased MS and AS, her attacks damaging in an area around the target. 6 Curse stacks: enemies hit gain griovenus wounds. 9 Curse Stacks: Frenzy attacks increase the damage of Curse. Reactivate: Snack Attack: Briar will Enhance her next Auto to CHOMP her target, dealing physical damage based on missing health and healing her based on damage output. 4 Curse stacks: deals additional Magic damage based on curse amount. 7 Curse Stacks: increases healing gain. 9 Curse Stacks: 20% of the damage converts into true damage. Chilling(CHASER) Scream: Briar refocuses, removing Blood Frenzy State and charnging scream taking reduced damage, healing some missing health and increasing its range. realesed it deals physical damage and slows targets hit, at Maximum it will Knock enemies back and deal increased Magical damage to targets colliding with a wall. 7 Curse stacks: will knock the enemy back at any charge, deals extra magic damage onhit. 9 Curse Stacks: will Fear the Target after the knockback. A Finnally Planned death: Briar picks up a random sharp object from the ground kicking it in a direction, Marking a enemy champion hit. after the hit briar becomes heldback state, where she slows down while controlling herself she can choose to let go after reactivating the ability to beeline straight to the enemy crippling and slowing any targets nearby before going into Blood Addiction: gains the benefits from Blood Frenzy with additional protections, Attacks twice after 2, 25% tenacity and increased MS. She will not stop until either canceled by you, death of the victim or Her own. 3 Stacks of curse: Target is heavily slown by the intial hit of the sharp object, stays that way until either it or Briar have died.

I have mastery 7 with Hwei playing him as Support, gotta say, he is amazing and super fun once you get in the right mindset. Is soo good when you pull out the right spells for the right situations but expect a lot of salt from your team if you make the smallest of mistakes.
I thought Hwei was going to be released in season 2024 since Rell was left out from season 2020
there was no preseason this time because of the ranked splits
@@lvl5goon598oh ok that explains it! Thank you for clarifying 😊
Uuuugggh Aurelion's theme will never not give me goosebumps with how good that build is
Watching this after the layoffs at riot 💀
Starting 2024 with a new ending song btw, amazing choice. Really like it!
what's the song name? it's incorrect in the description
The Milio ult description that essentially boils downs to “nUhHuH” had me dying 💀
5:37 Perhaps the goofiest edit I’ve ever seen
18:44 WHERE ARE THEY NICKY
Why do I still crack up at 4 jokes whenever Jhin makes a sudden cameo
Damn naafiri and briar theme slaps
I've been waiting for this. I always enjoy these rewinds.
Eat your words that budget went RIGHT INTO THE GOTCHA SYSTEM
I was a bit suprised that Nicky doesnt like Enchanter Gameplay as he talks about Milio. Because his most played Champion ist Ivern and he is an Enchanter. But then i remembered he plays him AP Mid😂
So funny thing about Pangolier from DOTA 2: he came out way after Rammus and had a very similar kit to Rammus (his ult was literally Rammus Q)... but then Riot stole Pango's W and made it Rammus' new ult.
Coming back after the recent faker announcment to say, I think we know why they made the time to rush Ahri's ASU in 2023 lolol
man i liked the old jax mostly because he was just this menace with a hood and glowing dots inside of it with the new mask all of that mystery menancing vibe is gone
That was really good. Yours champion rewind are always bangers, Nickyboy.
Didn't knew about this Jax situation 💀
Now you know.
And we both have to live with one of the most likable and Based Champions lore-wise and character-wise being treated as lower than dirt, because of his „player-base”
To be honest, I like all the champions that got out this year, it was the first time in a bit since I had fun with all the releases in a year.
i actually loved naafiri to be honest, even if her lore is batshit insane on mistakes, her concept is really fun,her design is a huge W for me,and her kit is decent
i just wanna know wat da dog doin
I've always seen you through others videos, but saw this pop up on my feed and decided to give this a go, just subbed. Why ? monster hunter music. Good taste :) and some wrestling references. gj gj
29:41 Showmaker's clip will always be hilarious lmao
looking back almost a year later this is my favorite year for new champs
7:11 “He’s not overpowered, he’s lore accurate.”
As always, what an incredible work !
As someone who only gets to play periodically every few years, videos like this are really helpful!!!!!!
Yes. Thank you. That's exactly what I thought when I saw Smolder. Even the name sounds like a Skylanders name and the body/head fit the proportion of most Skylanders dragons perfectly.
Really well made video, enjoyed it!!!
I'm literally just in the Ambessa Medarda & Shyvana VGU waiting room right now, everything else that comes out is just icing.
the MHW music at the end took me back omg, the joy and relief of hearing that music after a 49 minute hunt
11:32 Damn bro took a page out of Riot's books poetic
28:26 oh come on man, you can't say Zoe is like the other 200 years champions who even when they miss everything, they still do a lot of damage... Unlike some broken ass champions, she actually has to hit the spells to do shit, her passive really isn't a excuse because it's meant to add damage to close up combats. But she still is a 200 years champion, mostly bacause who decided to give a incredible (and circumstancial) mobility to an artillery mage is kinda dumb, but I thank God they did it because it's just too much fun
Hey! I would love Hwei being an older man, to really show he has empirical knowledge in his art.
naafiri is my first time on an assassin and i love her so much. shes such a cool character and i love her lines.
20:35 hey Nicky could you make this a sound bite for people to use in memes? I can’t get enough of it.
itsrewindtime
⚠️ SKARNER ACTIVITY ⚠️
I can’t get over the sky landers memes in every video it’s amazing
I really miss old asol, since the rework I don’t play with him anymore
you are correct nicky, i clicked on the video because i saw ahri in the thumbnail
i was going to watch it anyways later this week but seeing my otp gave me an extra sense of urgency
Your transitions will be written in the books of history if transitions.
26:10 Don't think we didn't notice you using Seraphine's Crystal Rose passive music
I main Hwei and for me, Hwei is a fun champion. The thrill on which right skill you need to use in teamfights, I just love him ✨
(I play Hwei Support)
Hwei is like the super simplified version of invoker except invokers abilities have to be made and are dramatically different like summoning meteors or tornados causing emps or calling the literatal sun to attack you
Hey Nicky, thank you so much for making me laugh today, needed that
When Nicky says bait so you know hes gonna talk about jax because he's a fisher
I didn't
Hate how I have to wait a year for these. Wanna binge these NOW.
Nah wait they named dropped you and they aint letting you in the partner program. Thats wild
Man, the Jax rework was my favorite of the year for the only reason that they kept his cocky/chill wanderer hero attitude intact AND JUST MAKE HIM OLD, like a literal war veteran with emphasis on veteran. I love him so much.
You know it's a good video when it makes you laugh in the first second.
Loving the Fulgore music in the background of the Briar section lol
One of my favorite things about the Aurelion Sol rework was the fact that on Wild Rift he was given the ability to move slightly while casting Starfire so it looks less ridiculous than on PC League where the just stand still and ereases you
the mhw steamworks ost you used is now stuck in my head. god damnit nicky
ALSO, riot completely took Nicky's observation about Asol and just doubled down on what he said..... LOOK AT WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO THE SPACE PUPPER NOW!!! T.T
20:57 thats I reccomend this change:
Blood frenzy:
Briar self taunts herself, priotizing champions nearby.
held: Briar slowly gains back control overherself, slowning herself while getting control to move, she will attack any enemy who's still nearby while doing this. after 1.5 seconds of holding she'll return back to normal.
while I like how thematically cool it is, the praticallatiy is way too thrown out the window, This ability change could still stay as thematicall as briar is trying to become more than just a mindless weapon so unlike human's turned creatures like Sion she can gain and control helfself even if it is difficult, slowly returning back giving you the ability to control her even if its just for movement and not relying on her E as the only way to do it.
21:15 my issue with her is her passive, What's the point of it? honestly it could be a passive just added into her W and nothing would change as thats the only time its useful.
I want it to actuall matter how many stacks you add on a target so your abilities can have something to be used on:
Passive: Crimson curse:
brair can't regerate instead gains increase health gain depending on her missing health.
3 stacks of Crimson Curse will cripple the target
5 stacks will Shatter armor
7 stacks will stun the opponent for 1.5 seconds
Blood Frenzy/Snack Attack:
Active: Brair Breaks her Pillory becoming frenzyed, where she self taunts to the nearest enemy(priotizing champions)m gaining increased MS and AS, her attacks damaging in an area around the target.
A Finnally Planned death:
Briar picks up a random sharp object from the ground kicking it in a direction, Marking a enemy champion hit.
after the hit briar becomes heldback state, where she slows down while controlling herself she can choose to let go after reactivating the ability to beeline straight to the enemy crippling and slowing any targets nearby before going into Blood Addiction: gains the benefits from Blood Frenzy with additional protections, Attacks twice after 2, 25% tenacity and increased MS. She will not stop until either canceled by you, death of the victim or Her own.
3 Stacks of curse: Target is heavily slown by the intial hit of the sharp object, stays that way until either it or Briar have died.
Man, I have the exact opposite feeling about the CGU. His old appearance was "weird noodle", he looks naked without his stars, and I absolutely hate his new braindead kit. It's literally easier to play than Yuumi, and that's coming from someone who has M7 on both.
