This knife is right in line with my size preferences. The Mini Bugout and Civivi Elementum II are my favorite carry knives. Sadly, it's a bit too pricey for what it is. I prefer to shop on Amazon and it's currently $75 there. Even at $50, I'd rather get another Civivi. Great video, though. I've seen content creators with 100 times more followers not have as good of quality as this!
My Mini Iridium had excessive up/down play. Others had the same problem. Cause is the lock not fully engaging. I assume this a manufacturing defect. Disappointing for a $50+ knife from a reputable manufacturer. Too bad.... this could have been a budget banger from Kershaw. Returned.
my problem with the iridium is how far your finger is from the blade. They should have made it so you can grip it higher than you can. Also still d2 is a no for me. Where I live d2 rusts like nothing else
@@nicksknives7777 yeah I tried the heist which is basically the same knife but nylon handles and... exact same amount of play you had in the video. Kershaw support asked me if I tried tightening it. Lol. I actually did, it took out the play, but was too tight to flick out comfortably. There was either play and good action or no play and bad action, nothing in between. Sold it
@davidtate166 there is a hint of play when u wrench on it but this is such a small knife with thin blade stock. For under 70 bucks it's a gd edc for lighter use.
Yeah it's under Medium if I said that. But I was kinda surprised that I could fit all 4 fingers. Knife is not as solid as I like though. Probably would pass on this one.
$64.99 on Amazon tonight. After much research I chose this mini over the regular sized version. Good review, thanks!
This was a surprise favorite for me. It would be nice if it was 14c or Nitro V, but great little knife

@DaveAlkema yeah I'm a civivi fan, usually your getting a high quality knife at a reasonable price. Thx for the kind words appreciate it!
25 dollars at Walmart.maybe not junk.yes .but i do enjoy Kershaw knives got a few ..
@davidtate166 for what they cost, they are worth it. I would say
Walmart got them now.this line of knives are winners 🏆 for Kershaw.
In my pocket now .👍😎

Yeah that is disappointing. I ended up selling mine so didn't really have it that long. It worked while I had it but gd info none the less.
I do like the blade design
@Layzboyedc yeah it's small no doubt. 5th pocket carry. Light use knife for sure but decent quality for how cheap it is.
Your title is misspelled. It may be why I searched UA-cam for this knife 4 days ago and didn't see this one until tonight.
@@blackbirdpie217 ooops just saw that
D2 is fine High edge retention.
@davidtate166 agreed d2 is a great budget steel, maybe if u live by the ocean not so much. I have a feldspar with d2 I use often.

@escapetherace1943 my problem is the blade play and flexy nature of the blade.

Might pick this one up.

A medium sized? Looks too small for me to handle

I don't understand for the amount of money we spend on knives we get the shittiest packaging
U get a nice box with a full dress Herman lol.
For us chicks we like small knives large hands
Lol 😆
Not a bomb proof knive .edc.
@davidtate166 agreed, but gd for light duty.
I don’t like cross bars either 🤮
Freaking crappy d2
