    Hello How are you Thanks for sharing your knowledge. In Mexico and in many places in Central America we use a PCM converter. Across the Chrysler line. It is inexpensive, you already have the flash files. It is very easy to use and costs $ 300. Flash files come up to 2019 And it works with the Chrysler Flash App. It's called INAU converter. With this converter I don't know a Witech or TechAuthoryti. Because it only uses the old Chrysler app that was used to flash cars from 2009 and older. With that application it works in any year.

    I tried using the Cardaq-M with the mega can extension the other day with WiTech. It keep loosing connection and even hung up during programming. I wondered why because it always worked before and its barley ever used.
    I looked back on the validated device list and its no longer validated! I will also say that I am using the same PCM that I used the last time. So I'm pretty confident that the issue is because the Cardaq-M is no longer validated.
    So I went and just purchased the MicroPod 2 from Chrysler and a one year subscription for Wi-Tech....OUCH!!
    I still have the other two subscriptions that I purchase for daily when needed. Chrysler really sucks on their subscriptions!

    Program a 2009 model still use witech? Or the j2534 version of it

    There’s ways around skim watch tool hut USA. What do you charge for Chrysler programming because of the 3 fees. Also can you show us how to flash with fdrs i haven’t done one yet

    How do you reset the skim if it’s been cranked more than 6 times then turns into a no crank? Think I read somewhere you turn key on leave it on for an hr? Does that sound right. I’m about to do a programming for a shop that’s started it and went from start stall to no crank.

      Yes to get out of lock out mode put a charger on it, and key on for a hour and then u should be good to go with normal programming

    Hello Brian.. Let me make sure that I am following along correctly.. Technically you did not have to pull the pin, write it down and re enter it in another step later… it appears that the autel device shared the pin codewith the new PCM… is that correct?

      Yes it pulled the Pin as connecting and it stored it, and when I did pcm replaced function it populated the PIN field.

    Hi Brian, question... since 2015 the Chrysler PCM are locked, and i cannot flash them via J2534 on the bench, is it possible to perform PCM replaced routine in offline mode on the 2015 and above, via witech1?

      Depends on what models you are speaking of, I have done some used modules on up to 16 caravan & t and c , I do not do alot of bench flashing so I am not able to guide you there.,

      Yes , i was refering to T&C. Do you think it can be done via witech1? When mounted in the car.

    Hola, cómo están?, Estoy en argentina y tengo una Dodge journey 2.4 2010. Tuve un inconveniente econ la ECU, y luego de diagnósticos, mí mecánico me indico realizar una reparación mediante REBALLING, lo cual alimentar hacerlo inicialmente, el teecnico tuvo un inconveniente cunado calentó la.placa y se le desoldaron algunos componentes....Luego pude finalmente hacer con otro persona el REBALLING, el tema es que al conectar la placa, no reconoce/no tienen conexión con la ECU (ni siquiera da arranque el auto) entonces suponemos o que se daño el micro, lo cual entendemos no tiene arreglo, o tal vez, quedaron componentes sin colocar, producto de la primera intensión de hacer el trabajo cuando se le desoldaron los componentes al primer técnico.
    En resumen, quería consultarles si UDS. tienen por esas cosas, para facilitarme alguna imagen de la placa como para poder ver la disposición original y así chequear y compararla, y poder validar que no le falte algún componente.
    Les agradezco si tuvieran la posibilidad de ayudarme con esta información.

    Why couldn’t you use witech to rewrite vin. Is it because pcm was used?

      witech can rewrite the vin once you have the pin, I had autel hooked up so I did it there. Also we have to do the swap original to used because witech will try to update based on the calibrations it sees, not the vin . I will show this when I go back and do the job again ( faulty used PCM doing odd things that did not happen before.

    All you need to do for that vehicle is to write the VIN with a scan tool tool rather than loading a flash

      NO., the calibration was not for the vehcile, so a check engine light or performance issues would occur if you just write the vin / security. Believe it or not there are a few in my area running around acting like a hero, writing the vin and getting thr car to start , and I get called out and find they have drivability issues or misfires or a ses due to wrong cal ids.
