Love of Words | Nikhita Panjnani ’24 celebrates songwriting and literature at SCU

Since she was a small child, Nikhita Panjnani ’24 has always loved getting lost in stories. From watching Bollywood with her parents to singing along to Taylor Swift as a teenager, she dreamed of someday being a performer. But when she got to college, Nikhita realized she didn’t want to study music and instead pursued a different side of herself. As an English major, Nikhita explored her love of words and learned about the professional side of storytelling as editor-in-chief of the Santa Clara Review and as an assistant to author and professor Kai Harris during the launch of her award-winning novel, What the Fireflies Knew.
