And I'm guessing this is disasterpieces 2002
No left behind
@@taylorozbourne2052 No, this is from 2001.
Very angry panda
😭😭😭
4:16 i like how Paul and mick stand up at the same time
Old Slipknot was pure heavy babe
this show is even better than london 2002. I wish we had it in dvd quality as well.
Patricio Jiménez surely there are pro shots of this concert out there somewhere (at least I hope so) - there would be cameras for big screens I’m guessing?? - I doubt the camera crew were like “meh, Slipknot concert - DELETE”
@New Hope unfortunately alot of the times the cameras arnt recording. There just broadcasting to the displays. Alot of amazing concerts when undocumented in hd beacuse of it not being a common practice to record
well, good news because there IS a proshot of this very performance.
There are videos of AT LEAST Get This and Liberate arround.
Look arround a bit. Pledge of allegiance Tour 01
Clown has loads of footage from those days, he always drop tiny snippets in Slipknot documentaries..
@New Hope we need to find a proshot of the milan italy 2001 show
I was at this concert! The nice thing about the Peoria Civic Center is the arena where the concerts play is on the hockey rink. They put down sheets of plywood or some type of flooring over top of the ice. Not shown in the video is people on the far right side of the crowd ripping up two sheets of the flooring and people crowd surfing on them lol. One of the better concerts at the time to come through Peoria.
Yup remember tht shit good fuckin times man!!!
I remember seeing that shit in the videos and thinking where the hell did they get the wood from!? Haha completely makes sense and makes it so much better! Im 27 now and what i would do to go back in time and witness this era in person! Im the same way with mid 90s Pantera and early 2000s. You're so lucky! 🙏🤘
@@brakkaens7615 Ice rink, what ever hall or area it's called lol.
@@brakkaens7615 To the best of my recollection it was: American Head Charge, System of a Down, and Slipknot. It was the "Pledge of Allegiance tour. They came through about a month after 9/11.
I want to say that Mudvaye was scheduled but cancelled because they were at the MTV video music awards winning for their video Dig and Rammstein canceled for some reason. I don't remember why Rammstein canceled but they were on that tour as well.
Doc: So Mick, how’d you break your neck and spine
Mick: 21:45
I was in the pit at this show on top of a frozen hockey rink that was covered by thick foam-ish tiles which the crowd had pulled up entirely by the middle of Slipknots set 46:40. Slipknot moshpit on ice made it the craziest show of my life!
This show is legendary. I was on the floor and remember seeing huge sections of the crowd just disappear because everyone ate shit on the ice. And the people surfing the boards.
Corey’s vocals was on point
FTP 666 But unhealthy af
@@uteweisenbach that's why they were great, in a sad way
i think its better then ever now .i saw them 2 years ago at Darien lake performing arts center here in Buffalo ny thought they sounded amazing!!
@@BuffaloNyBornRaised Hahaha
were*
Corey scream is badass 27:56
22:52 hahaha
I have the "Disasterpieces" DVD... It is the same stage, in the dvd, it looks huge....
Oh, the good old Slipknot. When no one knew how they looked like and they were brutal.
There are actually some differences if you compare the Disasterpieces stage with the POA one. The goat left-right banners are shorter in POA (it was also used during Ozzfest '01) and the Disasterpieces one has the same size of the Kill the Industry ones and the October-November 2000 tour in US (those with 3542-8706 numbers, to be accurate). You can note this difference looking at the banners and Joey's drums at the same time, it's very evident.
I'm not to sure Illinois and london is the same place unless I got my geography all wrong
Disasterpieces was one concert. & it was performed/shot in London
It’s funny to see them performing Get This during the IOWA days.
Anyways, awesome find man.
Corey has always been good but it's crazy to go back and watch the evaluation of the band ,and where they are today, amazing,
Oh man, thanks for uploading this. ❤
The quality of the video, the energy, hatred, and power. fucking eargasms!
Fucking kudos for posting this! Was there, pissed mudvayne wasnt. Been looking for any video from this show for years. Ty sir/madam
Lmao paul pushes sids head 24:36 end of purity hahaha
24:35 i ment
no frickin way this is amazing!
i love watching corey sing... his voice makes me complete. So amazing to just watch.
I wanted to be present on the PoA concert... It must have been unforgettable 🔥🤘
Was at this show. Their shows during this time were so unforgettable that I don't wanna go see them ever again because it'll ruin my memories lol.
I was there, one of the best shows ever.
Back then in the interviews they were all crazy and shit, now they're all polite and super nice lol
Times change, people change, luckily lol
Mick is a god damb beast.
Makes it look effortless.
The really cool thing besides the show itself which is wicked awesome! They're coming to this excact place almost 21 years later as of this comment!
I saw them in 2009 at the civic center and just a couple weeks ago. Wish I could’ve been to this one
11:20🤣
Goose. Bumps. The whole entire thing
15 year old me was at this show. 4 days before my 16th bday. these were the days.
Iowa: Slipknot
Illinois: Mudvayne, Disturbed
Wisconsin: Static X
Wtf!?!? I can't find anything from October 3rd same year in Phoenix
My mom was there for that concert and just a few days ago I saw them in the same venue. Small world
I seen this very lineup, I’m Portland, ME pledge of allegiance your! First concert I ever went too! I was 10! SiC! Maggot for life
Notes and comments:
Distorted Video and also Distorted audio... but still kick ass **cking GREAT !!!
Corey sounded so insanely brutal and powerful in this show.
ugh i wish i was alive for this. its only like an hour from where i live :(
We need to find footage from the Chicago show. Don't understand how there isn't a single clip of that show anywhere.
nice
i have too say those were most unique looking drums ever and color joey ahd for his drum set for this era by this company. although never saw any places really sell this one though like they did for pearl
Wow I searched for this concert. Among all of the concerts I have been to this was one of the best! I was super upset to hear that Rammstein wasn't going to play because of their basists family house burned down.
Best thing to happen in Illinois since Mudvayne’s existence
Back when heavy metal was heavier 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Whole Fucking Concert, Fucking Cameraman Films Mick Thompson Shaking His Head
Where mudvayne was founded
The Omaha date was the only one not rescheduled :(
Performing in Mudvayne's hometown
Without Mudvayne, who was on this tour. Go figure. Had to see No One instead and was totally unimpressed but it is what it is.
Back when they didn't play every song way too fast. Their tempo sucks since 2005, still does.
You can not fuck with this band
This is not a concert this is a fucking assault on your ears, eyes and soul
A month after 9/11.
so what?
@@nahfamimgood so corey is putting his all in his vocals duh
This tour was scheduled before 9/11 and rescheduled because of 9/11. If I remember correctly Slipknot and SOAD put out a statement after 9/11 dedicating the tour to everyone who died on 9/11.
Was this with coal chamber I think I was at this show
Audio was ok but you suck getting the full view. I was there d- at best
He's not even the one recording
