Radha + savage ventmaw+ hellkite charger is infinite :v can also be hellkite charger + sword of feast and famine or bear umbra, or you can combo savage ventmaw with aggravated assault. You can put all 5 in this deck without deviating from the elf theme and have a surprise 'I win' combo in the deck. Not to mention, extra combats and extra mana are pretty good even outside the combo, so the pieces are flexible. I never build a gruul deck without at least some of these cards.
Oh man I was thrilled to see Prof do a deck tech on a commander that I play with. Mine isn't an elf tribal but more so just a heavy generating deck. Radha is a lot of fun.
Not to mention that "archetype" is a three syllable word, not two. I hear this one mispronounced by a lot of Magic players, so I think it is just a case of mimicking how others are mispronouncing it. Eventually, it will likely even become an acceptable variation.

I more or less had this already assembled in an elf tribal casual/near-jank deck I pull out occasionally as a way to play some URG pet cards. I've considered making it a more effective deck by cutting it to either simic or gruul and putting an actual synergistic legendary in the command zone. This is a pretty useful guide to do just that

I'm working on a Freyalise Oathbreaker deck that tries to win via tapping and untapping shenanigans instead of combat, with win-cons like Viridian Longbow and Throne of the God-Pharaoh. A few good cards for Elves I've come across: Cryptolith Rite is a budget Earthcraft. Yeva, Nature's Herald plus Quest for Renewal give a Prophet of Kruphix effect. Thousand-Year Elixir is busted.

I think time of need is an underused tutor, one of any and a green so you can look for any legendary creature. Keeping in mind that any rare card from the older sets are considered legendary, I'd say it's pretty versatile.

I agree that Radha is pretty underrated/underrepresented as a commander. This may be my bias for Gruul and thicc, badass warrior chicks talking, but I am definitely building a version of this deck soon!

There is a Commander that has gone nearly unnoticed from a more recent set. His abilities do have alot of support, but he isnt the usual colors that one associates with his abilities. I am talking about the King of Poison, the Scropion God. The Lowryn block has alot if support cards for -1/-1 counters, as well as all of the proliferate running around, now is a Great time to take a look at him.

I'd love to see your take on one old pair that I've messed around with before: Akiri, Line Slinger and Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa The main plan is to create as many myr/servo/thopter/construct/clue/gold/treasures as possible to pump Akiri up as a Voltron style of play, but the artifact creature tokens are coincidentally small enough to make use of Sidar's evasion ability. Akiri's commander damage can kill one or two people at the table while using the tokens and Sidar's ability to grind down one or two others at the same time. The deck also makes use of some less-used cards such as Brass' Bounty, Hellkite Tyrant, Oviya Pashiri, and Flamewright to generate more artifacts, as well as supplemental equipment to get Akiri in for damage or to increase her damage such as Trailblazer's Boots, Vorrac Battlehorns, Bloodforged Battle-Axe, and the Blackblade Reforged.
I would love to see you do a tech for Wort, the Raidmother: Conspiring goblin of shadowmoor. Mostly because I would like to see how you would build her. My variant is just spellslinging. Great content Prof! Keep it up!
You should do a deck tech on Sakashima the Impostor. She can be competitive at the table against strong decks or she could be moderately powerful at the table with a bunch of casual decks. And a plus is you never truly play the same game twice. And finally she can be a good intro commander to the format because she can play any style of deck at the table which allows the player to try a little bit of everything.
Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast are good additions for when someone has the gall of casting Douchebag Jace (JTMS) and the inevitable Cyclonic Rift. Vexing Shusher also gives elves (or spells in general) protection from death by countermagic.
Interesting choice for gruul elfball, I would also encourage people to consider an ogre coming in and taking over an elf tribe to explain the aggression. Ruric Thar, the Unbowed wants a creature heavy deck and elves provide just that . While not budget Tooth and Nail belongsin this deck to search for Craterhoof and add Urabrask the HIdden to give all the other elves you play that turn haste to overrun your opponent
I mean, its a big green rampy deck that includes red, X spells are a given (just not too many of them). I was more thinking something like Hydra Broodmaster. With all the ramp, getting it out is not a problem, then making it monstrous after an attack with an army is scary. Yet another "this player must die this turn or we lose" move.
You didn't include the most powerful card available to the deck: Purphoros, God of the Forge. Also Hammer of Purphoros works wonders for tapping your elves as soon as they enter play, both for attacking and adding mana.
I constantly miss the Perfect/Prefect thing too, so no worries. But can we just take a second to appreciate what a flavor win that altered title is in the world of Lorwyn?
I built gruul elves with Thromok the Insatiable! Lorewise i imagined the elves essentially worshipping Thromok (perhaps for similar reasons the gruul worship Ilharg, or maybe for the reasons the naya elves worship the gargantuans). It was fun. One time i won on turn 4 or something nutty. Thromok + Elves + Chandra's Ignition

Add a little entropy to your life . . . or someone else's. Perhaps demon tribal with Rakdos, the Defiler, or maybe a sacrificing combo deck with Lyzolda, the Blood Witch at the forefront?
Do a Thantis deck! I just made a Thantis deck myself, and I think it came along pretty well. I would love to hear some thoughts on him. As not many people expect to see him at the table. Have to say a tribal build is a pretty cool idea. I mean.... spiders man!!!
A tip here, Creeping Renaissance is much better for this deck than Seasons Past, because most of your creature base is at the same spot on the curve. Otherwise, love a good elf ball, also trying to build a slim version for Oathbreaker. Also Rhada is a Commander that likes Helm of the Host, for Insane value.
One mana card missed is Elvish Guidance -- basically, an enchantment version of Priest of Titania. Other includes: Thousand-Year Elixir and Concordant Crossroads (for haste). In G/R, you can also use Fires of Yavimaya for haste, as well as sacing it for a P/T boost when you need it. Next, I cannot say enough about Joraga Warcaller -- with all of the mana production going on, he can give you a huge power/toughness boost. Along that line, not only is Ezuri good, but Dragon Throne of Tarkir and Overwhelming Stampede plus either Might of Oaks (3G instant for +7/7 UEOT) or, if you use Marwyn, Umbral Mantle (untap, equipped creature gets +2/+2, for 3). Other includes: Wirewood Channeler, for X mana in any one color, where X is the number of Elves you control; for color fixing, Birchwood Rangers can allow you to tap two untapped elves; for untapping purposes, both Quirion Ranger and Wirewood Symbiote do that nicely; Timberwatch Elf, to give +X/+X; and both Elvish Harbinger, Skyshroud Poacher, and Fauna Shaman for tutoring; Elvish Piper to severely drop your high drop creatures to G and put them into play. And, as a note: Ezuri, Renegade Leader, if the opponent board wipes, regenerates your team. If the spell doing the wipe effect *does not* contain the phrase, "can't be regenerated," then you can save your team if you can protect Ezuri, or regenerate some other way. Be wary, however, that there are ways to prevent your team from doing damage through combat, such as Crawlspace or Meekstone. Other pillow-fort permanents like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison won't hurt as much, but having your creatures Commandeered will hurt -- so use Homeward Path. To prevent Wheel-type effects (Nekusar), Nephalia Academy fits this purpose. For hexproofing your team, either Ascetism or Archetype of Endurance can fill that slot. Lastly, though it is not an Elf, Vizier of the Menagerie can allow you to cast your creatures off the top of the deck, especially if you have a way to either draw or scry -- especially since Vizier can look at the top card of your library at any time.

This probably will be a bit of an odd one, but i'd like to see a take on Asmira, Holy Avenger. I think she is a really undervalued Selesnya Commander, that can lead to really fun games =)
Ohh man, I just brewed her last night. I built the deck all around the hellkite charger/aggrivated assault combo, while throwing in some cool extras like godo helm, and twinflame dualcaster for backup.
I'd like to see the Professor take on Allies for a deck tech, since they feel like the other side of the Sliver coin. Munda or Tazri feel like the correct commander options here.
The commander deck with like 1 deck tech on all of the Internet and that deck tech is for modern: Rosheen Meanderer. A gruul mana dork that will make hydra tribal seems a bit under appreciated and I have a commander deck of her that I would like some guidance on.
Selenia Dark Angel! Please please please do a deck tech on Selenia Dark Angel the most interesting Orzhov Commander even after Teysa's new release. Winning with sacrifice and token combo's is boring but killing opponents with triskedekaphobia is truly mortifying. Perhaps you can do a budget DeckTech? With say a budget of $50,- (seeing pre-con's are around $40 that seems 'fair-enough') not including basic lands? - and seeing it will likely miss some oumpf and power in some places, do an upgrade for it as well... As I like these types deck-techs, seeing it lets almost any budget step into it, at the level they can afford.

Professor: No cultivator of Blades or Copperhorn Scout? I find both of those to be excellent in Elves, doubling your P/T gain for your other elves with Cultivator, or untapping your mana elves to allow for more overruns with copperhorn

Radha is an awesome commander. I play a couple of X Burn spells to do extra damage with all that left over mana. Lots of fun

Grand Warlord Radha is an awesome commander. She is so flexible so you can build her in a lot of different ways.
Anafenza, Kin Tree Spirit! There are a few infinite combos with the new masticore alongside her and blasting station or altar of dementia.

Professor what about a Lorthos, The Tidemaker deck? Something unique though, to take your opponents completely by surprise by that immense octopus 😂

Ohh man, I just brewed her last night. I built the deck all around the hellkite charger/aggrivated assault combo, while throwing in some cool extras like godo helm, and twinflame dualcaster for backup.
I'd like to see the Professor take on Allies for a deck tech, since they feel like the other side of the Sliver coin. Munda or Tazri feel like the correct commander options here.
The commander deck with like 1 deck tech on all of the Internet and that deck tech is for modern: Rosheen Meanderer. A gruul mana dork that will make hydra tribal seems a bit under appreciated and I have a commander deck of her that I would like some guidance on.

Selenia Dark Angel! Please please please do a deck tech on Selenia Dark Angel the most interesting Orzhov Commander even after Teysa's new release. Winning with sacrifice and token combo's is boring but killing opponents with triskedekaphobia is truly mortifying. If not her then at least a deck tech on Morophon Minotaur tribal and how broken Digeridoo is. Thank you very much professor for your time. Love the videos.

Definitly prefer your Oathbreaker decks better. Your the only big budget youtuber doing them and I'd love to see more.
Was thinking of adding vivian champion of the wilds from war. That way with her my guys have flash. Bring her out end turn. Then power on to make more dorks on opponents turn

Perhaps you can do a budget DeckTech? With say a budget of $50,- (seeing pre-con's are around $40 that seems 'fair-enough') not including basic lands? - and seeing it will likely miss some oumpf and power in some places, do an upgrade for it as well... As I like these types deck-techs, seeing it lets almost any budget step into it, at the level they can afford.

I'd love to see what you could come up with for an Ohrzov Knights deck with an Aryel, Knight of Windgrace as the commander.
Please do a deck tech on Anafenza, kin-tree spirit, for the flavor! such a forgotten commander with good potential imo (Awesome vid prof!)
Anafenza + Lesser Masticore (any persist creature will do, but this is the cheapest one in mono-white) + Blasting Station/Altar of Dementia = win :)
Professor: No cultivator of Blades or Copperhorn Scout? I find both of those to be excellent in Elves, doubling your P/T gain for your other elves with Cultivator, or untapping your mana elves to allow for more overruns with copperhorn
Can you make a Skullbriar, The Walking Grave Voltron deck at some point? I'd really like to see more resources on him, he's such a fun commander to play!
