Neil Diamond should have gotten sexiest man of the year over & over. His whole life he's a real looker. I never get tired of watching him. Music & the man has been a gift to us!!!
How often do we find “perfection “. Just listen to Neil Diamond on the stage and you have found it. The band are top class. What more do you want. This concert is wonderful and you can tell by the smiling,happy faces and the interaction during Song Sung Blue. The only problem is that I am unable to be there.
The first album I've ever bought. "A Hot August Night". I have never heard an opening to a concert such as that. I was just a teenager growing up in Jamaica. Reggae music was the order of the day. But I got hooked on Neil Diamond, and I'm still hooked today. I an fortunate to have seen him in concert twice in Toronto, and he gave his all. My favorite artist of all time

I am very pleased you were able to be at 2 of Neil’s concert’s to see for yourself just ‘why’ he was unmatched in-concert. The number of times I read the following : … “ Always wanted to see him in concert “. I ask in reply … “ Neil played about 2,000 concert’s including about 500 in Europe in total. What stopped you ?.. “ Never get a reply …? Even to “ Where in the world are you?..” I am certain they would have gone - but only ‘IF’ he was playing at their ‘hood’. And they weren’t kept away from their fast-food and t.v. for more than a couple of hours… ‘ Doughy minds in doughy bodies ‘ as my favourite author stated. Be well .
A complex, private, often moody perfectionist. However, he's mellowed in his older age. His natural talent for melody is outstanding and his showmanship is excellent. I was at this show and loved it.
I agreed it I just watching him here his performed reality take me involved with him to he work so hard for his performed to made everyone happy and he show me that performed is not that easy like I though I love his his performed so much he took my heart for his show ❤❤

I was 14 years old on 1976 when his conciert on Australia and 37 years AFTER Im staring to listen his songs by the computer and today 01-26-13 I want to said to Mr.Neil Daimonds; HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON HIS DAY! remember this as if it was yesterday and not 50 years ago, if you never saw Neil live you have missed something special the consummate performer per excellent. no gimmicks just Neil and his band, this concert was shown live on Melbourne television without commercials (unheard of at the time and I don't think ever done again) their was one commercial actually which Neil did himself on stage for a stereo company, now that Neil has stopped touring we are missing one of the best live performers of all time, enjoy.
Thank you thank you thank you…This bought back happy memories of dancing at family parties , singing on long car journeys and dancing alone doing household chores. I am now old and still found my hips twitching to these rhythms and the spiritual longing he expresses so well
I was lucky enough to be there, about a third of the way back in the middle. Always remember it, just brilliant. I have since discovered and bought the DVD. A special songwriter, musician and entertainer.
Not my generation but I love that man ... Voice and music. He's also an excellent showman, natural, friendly, humble and very respectful. A wonderful poet and a very intelligent person, too. Class and elegance. Very close from perfection. French thoughts to him ...
I love seeing his live performances because every version of his songs is unique - not a duplicate of what you hear on his albums. I can't believe I still recall these lyrics from some of the songs I haven't heard since the 70's or 80's. If only I could remember my multiplication tables that well😅🤣

FFS . Not a jot stuck . These melodies and words did, likewise the chords and tempos. From early teens to forever - 5 decades plus . ALL the truth needed is in Neil’s word’s and music . I was watching this back then. I vowed to get a leather pants and style my hair like that ❤. The hairstyling was easier than getting a leather pants. I now own 2x leather pants for concert appearances (look). Neil Diamond had a real pretty good effect on me back then as a baby/child (and continues to). Look at those gorgeous eyes!!!!❤❤🎉

Remember well, this concert, i (about 13-ish) was hanging out of a tree up the back with my older brother, and our favourite great-aunt who took us to the concert delighted when Neil Diamond gave a shoutout to "all the tree people"
