    I absolutely agree that listening to an audio book with noise cancelling headphones while doing house chores is the most zen thing for me too. It just keeps you as you said lasered focused to the book without being constantly worrying about the "to do list" 😅❤😊. Omg i wish i had a blueberry pie right now 😊 with me tea 🍵. Magazines about how skincare was in the 90s 80s 70s. Sounds 😊exhilarating ? I enjoyed your Vlog so much Doctor Andrea❤😊 Have a great day and of course all of you my dearies 😊.

    According to ISDIN's website, that retinal night serum is $185. yiiiiikes. I do use their sunscreen--I used to pick it up in Spain before we could get it here in the US, but I don't know about the high-priced skincare when there are lower-priced alternatives available these days. Even Avene's retinal line is half the price of this ISDIN serum!

    About your listening to audio books to relax: at night, to go to sleep, I put in my headphones & listen to "sleep stories" to help me drift off. As you said, it takes your mind off of the day-to-day issues & allows you to relax. I like them because you don't really have to CONCENTRATE to keep your spot in a "book." I find them on YT & some of my favorites are "Relax for Awhile," and "Sleep "Sorcery." I also like certain episodes of "Soothing Pod," depending on the narrator.
    They really help me wind down & drift off! Maybe they can help you or others as well!

      omg i tried nsdr sleep prompts and i hated them because of my eczema (i want to forget my itch and nsdr constantly goes through each body part--not what i need). after many sleep stories and a few districations (audiobooks- pride & prejudice kept me up for a few days cuz i never listed to the audiobook despite reading it many times. then i went down the rabbit hole of watching the movie and bride and prejudice, etc; also the boxcar children which i will still listen to at bed), i found a great one: its by calm and its called blue gold read by stephen fry. i want to listen to the other ones from calm but literally blue gold puts me to sleep lol. enjoy and lmk how you like it

    Since Adapalene has no conversions, is it more effective than retinal for hyperpigmentation and acne scars. Thanks

    • @msk-qp6fn
      @msk-qp6fn 10 місяців тому +2

      I think it depends on the formulation of the retinal product. If the vehicle is moisturizing enough it seems like it helps with possible irritation and aids the retinal in smoothing and evening out the skin texture and tone. The same logic applies to retinol and granactiveretinoid, I say.
      You can have similar effects with adapalene if you have a moisturizer that goes well with it and for your skin I think.

    • @deejames1st

      In my experience retinol doesn’t really compare to adapalene. Retinol does nothing for scars and barely anything for hyperpigmentation.

I’ve been using the Retinal Advanced for about two months now and I love it! Works very well. A little goes a long way and no irritation to my sensitive, Rosacea diagnosed skin!
