you seem so kind as a person..I actually subscribed on your channel not only for your knowledge as a dermatologist but your warmth and kindness, also you are very funny. Sending love from Croatia 🥰
Same! The dermatology content is great but her bubbly personality & little adventures are a definite plus! I feel like I'm hanging out with a sweet friend that happens to know a lot about dermatology lol
I love that you have gotten into makeup. I love that makeup and skincare coexist. Back when I was a teenager makeup was more of a hindrance than help. You look so glowy!!!❤
Thank you for bringing us into your home. I love seeing you explore cosmetics. Thank you for sharing what you’ve learned. I love burning incense more than candles. The cedar and pine and fir scents are especially festive.
You are a phenomenal doctor! You helped me self diagnose (eventually diagnosed by dr) with a very specific skin disease. Pityriasis Rosea is horrific rash that comes out of nowhere and the itch had me losing my mind, I still have scarring but working on it. You were one of the only experts discussing this on UA-cam. Every single symptom I had it, you were SPOT ON! I was prescribed 2 meds that did not work at all 😢 Funny enough a woman on UA-cam (Markia Daily, not a professional) recommended to use a rag with bleach to wipe the affected areas. It worked! This helped me with the itch within a few days, but I still have some scarring that is fading now. Sometimes home remedies really do work and people don’t respect them, but I believe in both professional and home care. 😊 My two cents on Charley Horses or very painful cramps while laying down usually in the legs are caused from dehydration and lack of stretching before and after workout. Hopefully that helps prevent them for you because they can be a nightmare no pun intended lol! I wish you wellness, happiness and health! Thank you so much and may God bless you ❤
Thank you Dr. Dray for sharing such a relaxing video - great company while having my tea 🍵 The Snow globes and the Nutcracker tree always brings a smile 🥰 Take care everyone 🌹
I totally agree with you with the floating shelves in the kitchen. I think the builders are just going the cheaper route by putting floating shelves rather than cabinets.
Thank you for sharing your makeup routine in addition to skin care, simple but beautiful & gives me ideas to try. No open shelves here, too much opportunity for dust & pet fur to collect!
I use the It cosmetics concealer. It's expensive but thick consistency makes it go a long way. Also, when contouring, draw a line paralel to the jawline (not pointing towards it) ,right under the cheekbones. It'll look natural and not sag the face.
I agree with u 💯 about kitchen shelves! That trend can't fade away too soon imho. The only good thing about shelves is they're less expensive than cabinets, but for good reason. A couple look nice with say cookbooks, a pretty dutch oven, etc., but no upper cabinets whatsoever? 😳 The constant dusting alone would drive me batty. 😅
A while ago you recommended and wore a Jane Iredale eye pallet. I fell in love with the pigment and silkiness of these palettes and also the lip balm is incredible.
I wanted to try the oil cleanser but the store was out..the cream-to-foam was on sale so I got that instead. I have pretty oily skin and this made my skin feel so soft and clean but not stripped or filmy--love it!
I (and house mate) was bugged by drips from washing for decades... Those little drip catching wrist bands are a recent game changer for me! Worth figuring out how to deal -- you will smile using them!! I hang 2 shiny metal S hooks (from the hardware store "little hooks" section) from the end of my shiny metal towel rack. They look cute holding puffy pink bands!
Hey I know you've made videos about what Sunscreen to put OVER makeup, but I'm curious now that you are more into using makeup, what product do you personally use the most when out and about and need to put Sunscreen on and not mess up your makeup?
I’m a huge fan of the Nutcracker ballet. The best hands down is in San Francisco. My son (he’s 23) and I go every year except during the pandemic. It really kicks off the Christmas season. Box seats are worth the money and the only way to truly enjoy it. I also purchase a Nutcracker almost every time we go. The quality and intricate design of each character is exceptional. Pricey, yes, but you’ll have them for life.
Love to see you getting into the Holiday spirit, Dr. Dray! Thanks for Eucerin-on-the-neck tip. I will def try that. I adore AmLactin for my hands (great for cuticles) and upper arms (great for smoothing folliculitis), but unfortunately when I tried it on my neck it stung like crazy and triggered a poikiloderma flare. Been massaging a bit of plain Vaseline to my neck before bed to calm the burning & itching. Thanks also for showing the makeup mirror. That will make a great XMAS gift for a friend who has complained that her bathroom mirror's lightening is uneven for makeup application.
I enjoyed seeing your makeup routine. Very pretty and natural looking. Know exactly what you mean about that annoying plastic piece that holds socks together. I've ruined many a new pair trying to cut it and end up cutting the socks. If you want to keep your nutcracker tree up all year, do it! You should do what brings you joy. Happy Saturday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a relaxing evening. 💟
I got Lancome Lash Idole mascara on your recommendation. It is the best - absolutely no clumps and gives a natural lash and doesn't irritate my eyes. Actually your skin care advice has been a game changer!
Love your nutcracker theme tree, I took ballet as a child & the nutcracker was one of the performances. I collect ornaments that tell a story of my life & my daughters. After reading Charlotte's Web we purchased a pig ornament. Lol. I don't like open shelves because they need to be dusted almost everyday, I prefer lighted uppers to display my treasures. I too wear merit stick foundation, it's perfect for a daily look. I usually leave my tree up for Dec & Jan ( must stay up until little Christmas, a tradition I keep for my mom) I replace the ornaments with hearts for Valentine's Day. Happy Saturday 🍂🍁🌲🌲❤️
You inspired me to throw out my old socks that I had on rotation that were so scratty and worn and slipped under my feet when I ran, I had newer socks in my drawer just wasn’t using them. Sometimes I need these reminders
Audio books 📚 are great specially if the narrator is good and it also gives your eyes a break. You look great and take such good care of yourself! ☕️🎄🤠👍🏻
Hi Uncle Charlie! Agree about the narrator. Makes all the difference. Happy Saturday! Hope you are having a nice weekend. Peace, joy and many blessings, my friend. 🙏🕊☕📖
I’m just catching up on a few of your vids and I’m amazed to see you using perfume, yay!! I adore perfume except in skin care of course. Great vid as always
Pleeease always share your base product recommendations, Doc, including foundation if one day you ever try it. A few years back you recommended a now discontinued Neutrogena tinted moisturizer and my skin loved it. Still searching for a replacement :(
Thanks for the great videos - have no idea if anyone has mentioned it as I couldn't read all the comments but have you tried magnesium for your leg issues? either lotion or supplements? I do take it and it helps me. I also love the Balega socks lol
You are simply adorable! Very “Breakfast at Tiffany’s “ look! Simple but elegant. 👍🏻 PS You are my “Nose Connoisseur“ - you are spot on according to my tastes. Love the candles you recommend, and the new Billie cologne is wonderful.
Love watching your videos, per usual!!! I love your Nutcracker/dance tree. It is stunning!! Thanks for all you have done for me and the community! Happy weekend!❤🩰
Oh, I'm a major Merit Persimmon fan! I need to try those new cream shadows. And Lash Idole is just the best mascara; I like that it's lightweight-feeling and keeps the lashes up.
I love The Nutcracker! It just gives me all the Christmas vibes 🎄 I wish I could see the ballet everywhere I go during the festive season, but I am never lucky with it, so I have only seen it back home in Bulgaria. It was the first ballet I saw and I fell in love with it ❤
I love that you've been experimenting with makeup. I haven't been so active on UA-cam (been working towards a certification in music theory, production & piano), but I really wanna get back into enjoying doing my makeup. Your makeup looks gorgeous!! I have to rave about the Tarte Shape Tape hydrating concealer. It's really a game changer! I've been using it in place of foundation. Its a must-have for me along with their double take eyeliner, their Busy Gal Brow, Benefit Bad gal Bang mascara and Lancome Monsieur mascara. Love all things The Nutcracker, and New Balance low cut athletic socks are where it's at for me, too. You got so Virgo there about the kitchen shelves. 😂 Agreed!!
Hi Dr Dray. Yes to the Charlie horse I also get restless leg syndrome which drives me just about crazy. I loss so much sleep. Couple year ago I was getting the restless legs way to much. But it turned around I’m only getting once in awhile.
I worked in the medical field since1982. Retired now but in the late 90s developed a latex allergy. At first just irritation and then one day in clinic I had an abrasion on the side of my hand from cooking. When I took off my gloves it burned and swelled so bad and I couldn't hardly breathe. It swelled up to the elbow and it was hard to bend my arm. In the emergency room, the doctor came in and told me I could not go back to work until I had an emergency bracelet that I was latex allergic. Further blood tests showed a Class 4 Rast to latex rubber. Since then I avoid rubber like the plague. Had some close calls one year when eating in a restaurant and they had made the hamburger patty with latex gloves. Definitely use caution if those socks are itching.
A table spoon of mustard or a few sips of Tonic Water works wonders for Charlie Horses. My husband suffers from them chronically and we have to keep mustard packets and tonic water on hand all of the time. Its weird waking up at 2am and smelling mustard🥴😂..but it works!
I got those cuffs for my wrists, after being very stubborn and feeling like it’s just another thing floating around. Honestly was worth it! I don’t take them when I travel and I’m annoyed every time lol
Completely agree about the open shelves in the kitchen, I've always thought that was a stupid idea. Even if they matched I still wouldn't want the open shells what about all the Dust am I suppose to wash my dishes before I use them? No thank you
Ok finally got the new cerave oil cleanser. Like others have said nothing oil about it. Not even sure gel is right. Kinda just feels like the watered down foaming cleanser. Has kind of a stronger smell I don’t enjoy. Not drying and works well but I don’t love it. Much prefer my hydroboost

Dr Dray: you need a makeup vanity! I love mine. It makes putting on makeup/skincare so comfortable and enjoyable!
Dr. Dray, just use 2 (larger) scrunchies around your wrists to stop the water drips! Works like a charm 👌🏼
