The first time I ever had Haggis with neeps and tatties was at a little pub in Stonehaven. To this day one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
I didn't take you for a haggis man, BUT it's made my day to see your respect for it and encouraging people to try it. Props to you as usual Scott
I liked the plating and the step-by-step on building the whiskey sauce!
From this Scotsman in exile , you made me home sick Sassanach. I would kill right now for a haggis tatties and neaps. I haven't had a Clootie dumpling either since the mither died.
I'd never forget about you Scotty my fine lad.
The presentation is **chef's kiss**
I'm drooling
I love the way I sighed about the mustard just before he said that. That was hilarious!
Two words: OUT-STANDING!!
As usual, nothing but the best baby, from Scott. Thank you, I’ll be doing this one, that’s for sure.
Looks perfect Scott, I'm sure a lot of us Scots will be making the sauce with the great Colemans mustard, would be great if you made square sausage by the way, and other Scottish dishes 👍👍👍
I love all of your videos Scott, but as an American I love these "food history" videos the most. Love to learn.
From a Scotsman to a Scott, brilliant my son. Scott how about giving us your version of another Scottish favourite, the square (sliced) sausage.
Cheers Scott...similar
Beautiful
What's this fancy new cooker?!? You've come a long way Scott. I've been following you 2-3 years now. Best cooking show on the internet.
Had Haggis, Neeps and Tatties with Whiskey Sauce for the first time at "The Last Drop" Tavern in Edinburgh, Scotland... loved it! Can't wait to give this recipe a try...!
Love the Hamlet quote in the intro as well... Poor Yorick!

Oh, what a glorious sight.
Warm. Reekin'. Rich.
I follow your video every time i make a burns night meal. I don't know if I need to any longer, but it's a great but of tradition and like a warm lesson.
I love your videos Scott. I just started watching and can't get enough. I have been reading others comments and I don't think they realize you are cooking for you and not in a restaurant environment. I like the fact that you taste your product as you go. Keep up the videos please and I will continue to watch. Thank you so much for these recipes.
I know this is a Scottish dish, as there are no vegetables! Haha! Great man!
What is a Potato or a turnip ...??
The Clans are marching brother. Join em.
made this twice - superb! Thank you for sharing
So simple. So easy. I love haggis but I've never had it with whiskey sauce. I cant wait to try it!
'Whiskey' is Irish... 'Whisky' is Scottish
oh. thanks.
This has been a staple in my fam for 3 years now. Have made a few wee changes but mostly to tastte. Love it hope you have a great burns night if your doing anything. Peace oot
Have enjoyed Haggis neeps and tatties many many times but It never seems to be served with a sauce or gravy! That looks absolutely delicious Scott, the whisky cream sauce makes that even better, genius.
Nice "dutch door" in opening background. Cool Dearstalker hat. Fine kitchen. Great food. Which you obviously love. Best

He is the one eating it so its hardly a big deal.
Cheers Scott, awesome. Will be eating this next Thursday.
Fantastic!
Just made it. Absolutely gorgeous! Took a bit of convincing to stop the missus taking the haggis out of the trolley in the shop but she adored it too. Presentation wasn't quite as good though ha ha.
Outstanding Scott...I can almost taste it.
3:05 Cue the flambé music! Love it!
That’s amazing. Well done and glad to see you back in action.
Looks awesome and love the Simple Minds music..
Scott, As a Scotsman all I can say is that looks amazing, Oh, and I'm trucking to Wales in the morning, Bridgend. love going to Wales as it kind of reminds me of Scotland
Love your videos Scott. Looks great now I’m hungry.
I've been lucky enough to have a butcher who keeps me supplied with sheep pluck, so've been making my own haggis for years. The real sod is neeps, nothing even close to them here in South America. Typically I've a few plants growing in the garden but one of our dogs dug them up, so this year it's back to a mix of white and yellow yam. Not quite the same but it does the job. Slainte!
We always serve ours in the school dinner style using an ice cream type scooper. One scoop of haggis, one of neeps and one of tatties
Swede. Aka rutabaga. Cabbage and turnip cross. Gonna have to try this...
Alas poor Yorick,I loved him so Horatio,a man of infinite jest.
10/10 scott! You must have celtic blood in those english veins of yours!! Perfectly done, and as a scot, I'm addicted to Colman's mustard, as I'm sure many of us are! Well done mate. Loved the scots simple minds touch too.👌🏴
You are great! Don't ever stop!
I would really like to try haggis.
Absolutely the best video you have ever done! I am so homesick right now.... Burn's night and i haven't any haggis.... But i do have Whisky!
4 years later and I have a Haggis and Neeps and Tatties.... and yes Whisky!
Looks wonderful. Planning haggis for a Robert Burns supper this Friday. Also, remember that a swede, or turnip is often called a rutabaga in the U.S.
I’ve been worried sick!! Where on earth have you been? I look forward to your videos every week Scott and this ones a beauty!!
Ben writing a cook book mike, all will be revealed my friend..But im back now..

Roll on burns night.. gna be trying this.. cheers scott
Hey Scott, does your family ever get to taste your creations or do you just scarf it down before they get a chance? :0) Scott, its easy to see that you love your snap. LOL
That's proper food! Anything with neeps is good, and haggis is great, but hard to get in Sweden...
great video
Gorgeous! Nicely done, sir!
Very nice
This dish looks awesome. Think I’m gonna make this for the family, Great vids Scott
going to have to see if I can get any haggis here (in Finland) not had it for YEARS
Scott, this was quite appetizing and beautifully made! Too bad we can't easily procure haggis in the US. So I am going to see how you make it from scratch. Thank you for your great work.
congrats on 200k! i think i have seen all of your vids, keep 'em coming!
Hi Scott, Great to see you back and looking forward to ordering your new book when i'ts released. Atb. Take care mate. Steve
I am enjoying this but without the whisky sauce, whisky on the side in a glass! I added a little nutmeg to the tatties not traditional I know but nice! Thanks for putting this up. Gonna watch your haggis making video while I am eating!
Ha! I have that same NYT cook book
i'm such an American. when i saw Burns night, i thought of mr. burns from THE SIMPSONS.
What's the best online haggis for those of us in the States? This looks terrific. Thank you!
Scott, that looks absolutely amazing mate.
I'm away to watch how you make haggis now.
Best wishes chef and keep them coming.
Dam, Now I have to try this!!
Very cool man good to hear from you again! Its been a dark spot in my life without the weekly video lol. Any how... Cheers Scott!!!
Looks delish bud, nice job. Cheers from Canada.
That looks really tasty. That looks like dish that could be adapted to use black pudding or corned beef in place of the haggis too.
Yay your alive Scott. Glad to see you. Cheers and Happy new year from Canada!
Don't you forget about me my deer friends.
pair that with a wee dram of Talisker Port Ruighe for Scott Rhea.
Hell yes. A good haggis is a thing of beauty. (Well, not beauty exactly, but it is very tasty.)
been meaning to visit ur butcher shop in pershore
I love haggis, neaps... hubby doesn't understand and never puts enough butter in ;)
Making me hungry
Damn - great to see you back! Brilliant plate M8. Rutabaga is a damn fine mashing veggie. "Don't you - forget about ... this Recipe!"
now seeing that you have a fireplace, I'm disappointed in the lack of hearth cooking on this channel
Good to see you back fella hope you n your family had a good xmas n new year!
That looks great Scott. I'll give that a try. This will annoy the Scots. I enjoy my haggis steamed for an hour then add balsamic vinegar and dried rosemary and pepper. Nice!
Great channel by the way!
Scott Rae! Ya cheffy you! OMG .....that looks delish! I have so many friend whom turn their noses and think I am crazy to like haggis, but I do! I've lived in Scotland on and off since 2010 and dude!

Scotland the Brave noice m8
Random find , the dish looks divine & subscribed!
As for the plating:
‘if you’re going to start - go all the way’
Bukowski
thanks for this !
Och, I thought you'd make your own haggis! All that lovely offal to play with :-)
Welcome back brother! Missed you
Don't you forget about me😉🎶
That looks lovely lad. Unfortunately we can't get a proper haggis here in the United States. The ones they sell here are more like liverwurst than true haggis.
Scott I am a big fan of yours here in Canada, originally from Scotland, You are amazing, have used your recipes and methods many times. Happy New Year to you and Fam, Cheers Lad.
Back when we was in school we ain't never had no haggis...
