Stevo sounded like that 2000-2001, no sensibility for the dynamics of the song, always full power and rushing ahead. I could do better than that, even though I'm by far not as skilled as him. Stevo had such a great swing and variety in his playing style. Frank drums straight ahead like a robot that's programmed 5ms ahead of the song. It's not that I don't like him as a person, he is just trying too hard - or at least so it seems. The thing he does really well and much better than Stevo is backing vocals. I was impressed by that.

Even though Sum41 is predominantly a punk band, they can get down w playing thrash and metal. Their cover of Master is probably the best cover I have ever heard. Glad to see Derycks doing better and hopefully hes staying sober.
Dave singing he high backing vocals in "Makes No Difference" makes me so fucking happy. I missed that sooooo much! And this is awesome in so many ways.. they can now play almost all the guitars of every song and even double the rhythm guitar of the parts that only have 2 guitars. They sound so much better live now than ever (apart from the drums, because Zummo is rushing a bit). The Brownsound was definitely missing. Can't wait to finally see them live with Dave back in the band. The show I was gonna go to see them was canceled back in 2005.

Songs were good, but the themes were just too dark compared to the other albums. Also, Deryck has been looking like a fucking Train to Busan zombie onstage during that time because of his alcohol abuse.
He's had that since around Chuck and playing guitar myself I've never seen any other Singlecuts with one pickup and knob or a finish like that, I've always just thought it was a custom one he had them make for him but I could be wrong

Rawb how many bands that are well known bring fans up to sing with them? NFG appreciate their fans a lot more than Sum 41 does, again I like both bands but when it comes to live shows, NFG is way better. They play small and big venues depending on the location, that being said show me a video of you singing with any well known band that has been on MTV and sold records world wide, cause if it's so easy as you say, you should have one.
