Chimney Tops is where the 2 boys started the devastating fire that took more than a dozen lives and burned our cabin to the ground. I don’t know who they are, but by the power of the Holy Spirit within me, I forgive them for what they did to us. May the other families hurt and grieved by their losses be able to forgive someday.
I live in England, although we do have some nice places, but i have to say hands down this is 100x more beautiful.. thank you for sharing your video, gives people around the world a glimps at other beautiful places that we didn't know existed.. Huge greetings from UK
Have you ever been to the Savernak Forest, just as pretty, not as big, but then look at the size of UK to the USA also go to The Thetford Forest. It really annoys me that people go abroad to see scenery that we also have in UK.
fred grove You don’t have the Appalachian mountains, or the nature that we do. That’s the difference, yeah you’ve got some trees but nothing like this. Your country is pretty, but people travel abroad because your county is so small and ours so damn big. From what I can tell in the pictures, there are zero mountains in the place you’re talking about. The smoky mountains are a tourist hotspot, due to the attractions we have and the scenery. You should see the smoky mountains in the fall. It’s a sight to behold.
Kaguya Yes, but the Appalachian mountains are the most visited in the US. With over 10 million visitors a year, we surpass the Rockies by a landslide. We’ve actually peaked at just over 14 million in recent years, which is neat. It’s cool I live so close to the most visited national park in the United States.
I grew in the Appalachian mountains and I was searching so hard for videos that had a similar landscape. Something about the type of trees, the kudzu, the overflowing foliage is just... it reminds me of home. Thanks for this video.
I live in Gatlinburg. Thank you for sharing the beauty us locals get to live & enjoy in. Hope you're all able to visit one day & love it how much we do!
renee Mitchell move over if someone is on your tail, the road isn't going to magically end through the curves & drop u off a cliff, turkeys aren't that amazing please don't stop in the road to photograph them or our bears. The roads aren't bad. Just follow the lines, simple.
We get to feel the amazing experience from afar. The sound of nature that is tapared with picturesque meanders, plus the upward climb is scenic. Thankyou for your good job.
This place is heaven, this place is paradise, I love it, America is beautiful, and I thank you for your beautiful work, please visit more places like this one.
I was happy when I ran across this video. My family started spending our vacations every year at Deep Creek Campground in Bryson City. I can't count the number of trips I've made over this route and I haven't been able to go there this year. I was amazed at how developed it has become along Highway 19 from Cherokee to Maggie Valley. I remember it as forest. :-)
Hey there Love You America because i ever go there since 2016-2017 From Indonesia🇮🇩❤🇺🇸🥰 i miss to go to America sad bc of this covid 19 so i cant go there GodBlessYou guys🙏❤😇
Wow!!!!!! What a wonderful scenario i am watching on my laptop. It's amazing as well as unspeakable in a word. I am speaking from Bangladesh. Wish you all the very best for such a great worth-watching travel video. Keep continuing in future.......
Use to go to work in the park, back in 1982 through Gatlinburg, and then to several campsites to give slide shows in the amphitheaters. Lots of fun that summer of '82!!!
So many Beautiful ...i am is always happy and proud .i love my nature protection systems and operated systems much better that any other countries .i love america
Making me wanting to go back. Only live 6 hours away. Great food and plenty of attractions. In the winter reminds me of the Alps with the hillside cabins and skylifts. Seems like everyone knows better then to drive crazy on this road.
I just took a road trip without leaving my chair, and since you didn't use music I was able to have Willie Nelson sing while driving. All I needed was to hold on to a steering wheel. Thanks. Nice trip.
The Smokies are such a majestic place. Hundreds of millions of years ago, they were as high as Mount Everest, but after eons of erosion and re-uplift, the only reach just over 6,600ft. As a geology geek, it's an interesting place for both the mountains themselves and the gemstones dug out of them. I have a massive aquamarine crystal from North Carolina, and there's plenty of gemstone mining places in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and western NC. Aside from all the fun and expensive tourist traps, the real beauty lies in the mountains and forests. I haven't been there in 10 years, and I'm due for a return.
I HAVE WILL CHERISH THIS VIDEO, I HAVE DRIVEN THIS ROUTE TWICE AND NOW THAT I AM LIVING ON THE WEST COAST IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO DRIVE DUE TO MY HANDICAPPED LIMITATIONS. ALSO SUNRISE EARTH YEARS AGO DID A DRIVE THRU ARCADIA NATIONAL PARK IN MAINE DURING CHANGING OF THE FALL LEAVES. MIKE
Americans are so blessed to live in a country like this.
Great ! At least we have a presenter who doesn't ruin it with background music . The ambient sounds provide the atmosphere . Good vid' , well done .
RIGHT that's the only reason I'm watching it
I don’t mind spending my life driving on this road

@@fredgrove4220 I honestly don't think this is even that beautiful. I believe that the West Coast is much more beautiful than this.

I wanna go back there. It’s amazing how one moment you’re in a town and you cross a road and then you’re completely immersed in nature

Don't buy that "millions of years" bull crap.
I love to have videos like this on. Usually I will have some acoustic music going. Great way to wind down after a stressful day!
