Chevy Square Body K10/C10 Windshield Installation by Moss Auto Glass

While working to refabricate my rusted out front and rear window frames, I cracked my front windshield. It became apparent that I'd need an expert to install my new windshield and rear window. Moss Auto Glass, llc of Fremont, CA did a great job with the window installations and I was able to get some footage of the work they did, in progress

They need to make a flush mounted windshield for these trucks...they make the rear window flush mount though...i need a new windshield for my 81 but dont have the skill to put it in

When I cracked the windshield taking it out, I knew it would be worth the investment having a pro install a new one. Good thing is it's pretty reasonable to do so on these older windshields. I wonder if they don't make a flush mount due to the inconsistent manufacturing specs. It's amazing how rough this was put together and spot welded from the factory just stamped and squished together

I would like to install a windshield in my 1978 square body three-quarter ton Chevy truck. Unfortunately I cannot find a windshield anywhere to purchase. Can you give me some ideas on who would carry such a thing?

Absolutely. Any local auto glass repair/replacement shop should be able to order for you. If you haven't installed one before, I'd recommend having them do it...they tend to be very reasonable on pricing and if the windshield were to crack on install, they'd cover it. Alternatively, you could order one through a company like Classic Industries www.classicindustries.com/ they carry almost any part you might need for your old Sqaurebody 😊 Hope this is helpful
