Buoy 10 Aug 8 2023

My first buoy 10 trip of 2023, while we had success in the ocean, we got skunked in the river. We were hooking jacks and releasing them and landed a keeper chinook, got a report of a hot bite in the river and chased the report. That didn't work out for us. We saw multiple nets flying all around us, those fish didn't want our offerings. The best part of the trip was getting Vinny his first salmon, first trip to buoy 10, first bar crossing, and a great time. I plan on more trips before they close it down, stay tuned!

It's so much fun to get someone on their first fish be it a crappie, trout, salmon, or sturgeon.
