Wonderful to see my favourite UA-camr back. The fact that you're uploading your videos again strongly suggests you're home. You've got an amazing work ethic, I've been home for 3 weeks and still haven't posted my first video, let alone my second! It looks as though you finally found a Camino with the peace you need! Looking forward to #3...
Haha yes, this Camino definitely had a lot of peace and quiet! And I’m not quite back home, but at a writer’s retreat in France. Reliable wifi and extra time means I can start putting some videos out! (though I’ll be back home- and to reality- soon) How is your post-Camino time going? It can be hard!
Just discovered your channel Nadine and really enjoying your videos.I am planning to walk the Camino del Baztan later this month.Apologies if I have missed it but were there places on the route where you can obtain stamps for your Pilgrim’s credential? Best wishes Stuart
I found the route markings on the via Podiensis to be very confusing and sometimes contradictory when I was there this past May. I assumed the fact that the GR65 can be hiked recreationally in both directions was part of the problem, while the Camino/Chemin is usually hiked towards Santiago as a pilgrimage.
The hospitalero brought dinner to the albergue… soup, bread, salad and meat. It would have been hard to do much cooking in that kitchen! (though there was a microwave)
@NadineWalks Thanks Nadine, good to know. I understood that there wasn't any place to get food but it was a very nice surprise to see that you were able to get a beer 😊
Cheers Nadine. Have you thought about doing extra posts on just the meals on Camino. I like your editing on the Camino share alot but show just enough like a degustation menu perfect
Hmm, maybe I could try to put together something like that! I’m not much of a foodie so I think there are others who could do it a lot better (sometimes I eat the same thing over and over!)
Thanks!
This is so generous, thank you! I'm so happy you found these videos, I hope you enjoy watching :)
Makes we want to get back out on the camino. Lovely video
Lifts my spirits
Just found you. What lovely adventures. Thank you for sharing.
Buen Camino! I hadn't even heard about this route, but the views look incredible! Definitely adding to my wish list.
and thanks for posting the prices of albergues, it's really helpful!
Thank you Nadine for choosing the less traveled paths and sharing your days with us! 😊
You’re welcome! It’s always fun to share these journeys here!
This route is certainly a bit of an eye opener. Thank you Nadine.
You’re welcome! It’s a great Camino!
The monastery looked very nice , I bet that Beer looked very nice too 😊
Haha yes, both the monastery and the beer were great!!

Thanks for sharing the path less travelled.
No problem, I love putting together these videos to share!
The scenery is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your day.
You’re welcome! And I agree, such beautiful scenery!
Wow... pretty village... and walk for that matter. Cheers and adventure on!
Yes, it was overall a very pretty walk!
Gorgeous countryside! Love that ending scene with the long-haired pony (?) in the field.
It really is such a beautiful landscape!
Love your footage and commentary, keep up the great work Nadine! 😃
Thank you! This was such a pretty landscape!

Yes, that’s probably part of it, and there’s just a lot of hiking in this area so that added to my confusion!
Best of (british) luck on your way! 🙏 buen camino. Thanks for sharing !
Thank you so much!
Take care Nadine
Thank you!
Did you get your stamps?
What was for dinner at the albergue, if the hot plate wasn't working? Just wondering. Looked like a neat place to stay. Thanks.
The hospitalero brought dinner to the albergue… soup, bread, salad and meat. It would have been hard to do much cooking in that kitchen! (though there was a microwave)
sooo awesome! very courageous to walk such an untraveled path...but such wondrous countryside...how was dinner????
Dinner was good! (of course I forgot to film…) one other pilgrim showed up, and we had gazpacho and salad and bread and pork. No wine, alas…
You obviously were able to buy a beer so there must be a bar in Urdax? We'll be staying in the albergue next month.
Yes there was a bar, but I don’t know that they served any (or much) food. But being able to get the beer was great!
