Hey, We know that flea market! 🤣😂 Funny watching it from this perspective - looking at the tables to see if there is any of the stuff that we sold those dealers this spring lol. Some of the dealers there are almost too much - lots of angry types too...We shake our heads and think, "Do you want to sell stuff or are you in love with it?" So much of that stuff is the same ol stuff week after week after week, year after year. But there are also some nice folks set up as well. Sorry you got a cranky one with those patches. Wait'll we're back in FL - you'll be able to buy stuff from us again; we just price things to sell! We're not in love with the stuff, we're there to sell it. (And we stay until the last customer has pulled out - we were there til 3 or so the last time) So, at 8:49, at the Avon table, that woman gets there around 4 or 5 in the morning, and is in her 80s. She does everything herself. After our last flea market there, Kath went over to her and asked if we could help her load up, but she said no - she enjoys it, and it keeps her moving. We try to buy something (like a bar of soap or something) just to support her efforts. She's very sweet. BTW: Those fries are pretty tasty!
Hey Dave if that was me selling the patches I would have sold them to you. I use to do flea markets and I always stayed late to make that final sale so as not to take it back. That guy was wrong. I don't agree with the the ones who stuck up for that guy.
I hate these two bit flea markets in Georgia and NC and Tenn where everyone packs up at noon and goes home!!! My first thought was maybe he had the patches spread out originally, selling individually, because of the big empty space on the table.
