Darth Vader conducts Christmas Choir Flash Mob - Carol of the Bells

- Algonquin College. Exam week can be stressful on students. Inspired by the Christmas Food Court Flash Mob, Hallelujah Chorus, the Television Broadcasting students at Algonquin College wanted to showcase the new Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence by lightening the mood with the help of the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir and Darth Vader.
Thank you to ORYC Manager, Valerie Jerabek and Director, Kevin Reeves for agreeing to participate in this crazy idea. Thank you to the choir itself, for sharing their beautiful voices and for not minding that we subbed in a Sith Lord as conductor 45 minutes before the performance. Thank you to all the students who helped out and in particular to Television student Shane Webster who ontop of helping organizing was running back and forth from the hospital expecting his first child. Congratulations Shane!
Thank you to Chloe Atherton and Bridget Berry for sewing a 43 inch circumference Santa hat on a moments notice and thank you to Randy Dash, Alanna McDonell and Robyn Heaton from Algonquin.

@MxPxRobbie The building acoustics are made to be a quiet study area - so sound is contained in each level - and does not travel. The choir member could not hear each other. They did well in a very challenging situation! I heard the choir live at a concert last week and they are amazing. Listen to the video response above and you will see. A great choir and a great (and brave) group of young people!
I'm rather disappointed I missed this. At least when I missed Epic Meal Time, I knew about it.
Darth Vader was the cool part. Sorry but uh, there were some people who were way off key, was kind of unbearable ack! :O
its a flash mob, comeon now:P. If people randomly broke out in the tube doing thriller could you seriously expect everyone to be in step?
I have seen many amazing flash mobs and they were all great singers and insync/harmonizing etc. These guys were terrible. Good idea, poor execution.
They're amateurs. But they clearly enjoyed themselves.

Ummm...did I miss something. When did Darth Vader get mixed up for St. Nick. One loves kids and gives them presents while the other cuts them down with a light saber. That's a worse mix up then the Nightmare Before Christmas.
