- A re-upload of that doki bios start-up. But with improved sound quality.
If anyone can put this bios on a rom chip and solder it on an actual ps1... My life will be complete.

Or instead, I could use this as my login/logoff sound for Linux.
I would see if FZERO would be down to try this on a real ps1. I tried this on a emulator, works great, but don't want to screw up my SCPH-1002.

Well, there's the option to write an PLCC32 flash chip and wire it up on a PS1. I think nocash (and a few other fellows) got a custom BIOS to run on a PSone PM41(A) by doing that.
If you can patch up a PAL BIOS with that I might look into working something like that and sending the result to you. (I have a board that currently sits doing nothing as I took its bios chip - it's from a 9002, but the 1002/5502 bios will work, have done it in the past)
@@iopco772 Sure. I'll test it up though to check if there's any connection between the startup sounds and if it affects ingame output. Then, I'll look for some PLCC chip to flash then wire up and test.
