"Is that Vincent?"
(The credits start)
(Stops credits)
"I guess we won't know until next week" lol
Not just that, the Hawkeye title card at the end of the credit visuals has a giant silhouette of Kingpin in the background.
It's literally in the credits
I love how stops it literally seconds before the words Vincent D'Onofrio appear on the screen.
@@justaname1345 They know it's Kingpin, Clint literally says so in the episode. Holden's question was whether it was Vincent or not playing him, hence the entire point of the first comment that started this thread.
@@justaname1345 he’s in the credits
Jeremy Renner's delivery during that speech to Natasha at that memorial is absolutely perfect and heartbreaking.
Watch him in Wind River if you haven't. He's shown he has that and more
So glad he's getting more screen time with this show. He was underused in A1 and A2 and needed to be in A3
@@ProfeFut Is he?
Not sure why he was apologizing for what he was "about to do" for... all he did was knock a few goons out and tell Echo to back off. lol
@@Linerunner99 I think it was tied here revealed that he was ronin to the public
I love how you went "Wow, she didn't hear that gunshot?" and immediately regretted saying that lol
lol i did the exact same thing
I feel like half the audience did. We got so used to non-deaf people in these situations!
@@DJLawrence yeah I’ve noticed that if they don’t completely remove the sound in a certain scene, I completely forget that one of the characters is deaf
I am guilty of this... 😔
I done the same thing thoooo💀💀
When Holden said: "She didn't hear that gunshot?" I laughed out oud so hard, it's been a while since I had a good laugh. My deepest respects goes out to the very talented actress who's plays Maya, I think she would have found that funny also.
yes she would have ... if she could just listen 👀
@@galeb95std The video does have subtitles so she could still watch if she wanted to
Jen called it! It was Kate's mother. Good job, Jen!
Also, check the credits. They listed Vincent D'Onofrio as "Kingpin".
Yeah I was like, well clearly they don’t watch the credits
@@GambitFinale__ bro I was thinking the same thing
It was pretty obvious but stil pretty good
I think everyone called it, it was way too obvious 😂
The comic image in the credits with the kingpin silhouette was so cool
Really should have kept the credits rolling to see Vincents name and that great Kingpin art
Ikr. His name in credits and that shadow of him surrounding the New York City backdrop was gorgeous.
@@WilliamButtlicker fav part of the ep
Why are people saying it's hard to see it's Vincent D'nofrio? It was immediately clear it was him to me, with his posture and look. Also, the credits confirmed him.
Same lol. I didn't even need to see the credits it was clear as day to me
I know it was him for the moment the picture was shown. But some people need more proof than their own eyes
Ralph Boehner has still has people messed up lol
@@JBWinter Fair lol
I waited for the credits just because his face looked off (probably on purpose because Yelena used a potato to take that pic lol) and Kingpin looked like Brian Michael Bendis for some reason to me lol, but yeah that's D'Onofrio for suuuure.
“The new and improved Statue of Liberty”
Direct connection to No Way Home
No NWH Spidey was fighting the under-construction Statue of liberty
@@himanshukapri97 Yeah? And? It’s new
This means that Hawkeye happens probably some time after NWH
@@himanshukapri97 it’s still a reference to the same thing in two different properties
@@LowlyDuke10 No it doesn’t. It’s just a new statue. Why are people looking too far into this?
In the credits for this episode they credit Vincent D'Onofrio! And he has a silhouette over the hawkeye logo, even if you don't fully pay attention yall should let the credits roll in the background for these shows.
Fun Fact: a list of names of the actors appear at the end of the episode on EVERY episode. If you ever want to know if a specific actor is in it, you can always reference the list. It’s called the “credits”
Lol. Nice, they are too impatient for that
Lol I don’t think it’s impatience, most people don’t assume that they’ll show the name of an actor when all they showed was merely a bad resolution photo of him. I made the same mistake, so chill out boys 😆
wow 🤡
I love that the credits is how they confirm its D'Nofrio
🤯
Vincent's name is in the credits, so it's definitely him.
Florence Pugh getting better looking every time I see her. She was too cute in Little Women being all dramatic, but sitting down with Hailey she was just Wow.
Have you seen Midsummer? She's in it and also the future Adam Warlock which is kinda cool now that both of them are in the MCU.
@@Chickendentistftw Yes I have. Creepy flick.
Lady Macbeth
@@McShaganpronouncedShaegen it's something 😅
She does microexpressions better than most actors today. Even when she's sitting at the table with Kate Bishop it's filled with little facial expressions that tell you a lot about her character.
Been waiting on this one. Jens face seeing king pin was priceless.
The episode literally came out yesterday.
When I was a boy my father told me that I would only amount to being a Netflix limited series villain. Now I am a man and I will control the “MCU” version of this city, which I love.
The Hawkeye series has been my favorite so far. Such a great episode too.
Hawkeye is the best series for real though
Holden: Shouldn't Maya've heard that shot
Holden: wait-
😂😂😂
Here I am, silently “yelling” at my phone while sitting in the office, “Vincent’s name is in the credits!” LOL
It is Vincent, but we do not know yet whether he is the "same" Kingpin from Netflix series, there's a chance they will soft reboot the characters, since we know Disney probably doesn't want people going to a different streaming platform to catch up (not to mention there's plenty to catch up)
The Netflix shows are said to remain forever-owned by Netflix but there is nothing preventing them from being on Disney Plus aside from both parties agreeing to terms. The right amounts of money and willingness can make that happen.
(IMO, the tallest hill to climb is getting Netflix to agree.)
Loved the fact that holden came forward when Kate puts phone on the table. It's like he was trying to see the photo from an upper angle 😂
The reveal was so exciting! Yes the character was only shown, but the implications are HUGE! This is the first onscreen confirmation that the Netflix shows are potentially still within canon, which means not only DD but Jessica, Frank, Luke, and Danny can all come back either in new series or the films. Can't wait to get more clarification in next week's episode, hopefully.
Its kinda dissapointing that this show is barely about hawkeye, and its very bland and uninteresting, it doesnt have much to offer, the only talk we get from this series is yelena from black widow (who has a shitty accent) and kingpin, and a bunch of references to the other movies like the pym tech arrow, direct no way home reference, avengers 1 references
Vincent dnafrio is confirmed in the credits as kingpin. Also Jack is the villain, swordsmen in the comics
Yes cause i did spotted Murdock as Peter's Lawyer in today at NWH screening
Jack is not the villain
@@himanshukapri97 chill
@@himanshukapri97 half the world hasn't seen the film
@@himanshukapri97 damn you just couldn't wait to spoil that huh?
I hope that Yelena has things put into perspective for her. Natasha and even she herself (Yelena) have blood in their pasts…but have proven themselves to have changed.
Just as Clint has.
To our hosts: "Watch the end credits!" It is Vincent!!!
Vicent has his name in the credits so it is him
“Idk if it was Vincent D’Onofrio”
First 10 seconds of the Hawkeye main credits “STARRING VINCENT D’ONOFRIO” lol
Side lights of the bed in your room creates a kingpin shadow above. He truly is always in control.
I saw Spider-Man NWH last night and I can’t wait for you guys to witness it, it was incredible! I wish I could forget it and watch it again!
Oh you guys are so cute talking about needing more evidence of Vincent D'Onofrio but it's there in the end credits lol.. Love y'all reactions 🙂
Well, we had the series start with a flashback of young Kate. Then when Maya showed up at the end of episode 2 the next episode started with a flashback of young Maya. Then we had Yelena show up at the end of episode 4 and this one started with a flashback of what happened to her during the blip... Is it unreasonable to think that Wilson Fisk showing up at the end of this episode means we will start episode 6 with a flashback of how Kingpin is realated to Eleanore, Jack, Maya and her father? Me thinks it very likely!!
Great reaction this week. Even better when Holden had to catch himself when he mentioned the fact that someone who's deaf didn't hear the gunshot. But I like that moment when Jen was about to jump all over that fact and Holden had to put the hand up and say, "I know". Which got me thinking, when are we going to get a "My Boyfriend Watches..." with Jen hosting? What TV Show / Movie has Jen watched or obsessed over that Holden hasn't seen? What genre of story telling is Holden absent from? Dramadies? RomCom's? Hallmark Channel?
"I'm hoping that Yelena pops back up..." yeah she definitely did in the bathroom
The fact that Hawkeye, who fought Thanos, is afraid of The Kingpin says a lot.
He didn’t fight with Thanos at all. And it’s never implied he fears Kingpin but he knows the danger of having Kingpin involved. I don’t Ronin feared kingpin within the five year gap at all.
"She didn't hear the gunshot?" was funny. Holden's face realizing what he just said.... PRICELESS!
The second Kate told her mom about the evidence against Jack, it clicked: "Yup, Jack's a red herring patsy. Mom's the baddie."
The logo of the show at the end of the credits was zoomed out this episode, revealing that the art of Clint and Kate was in the shape of Fisk’s silhouette.
perfect timing! just finished watching your guys back to the future part 2 a few minutes ago!
Just goes to show how important watching the credits can be sometimes... 😉
When it comes to the Maya stuff with her “boss” wanting her dad dead, is pretty closely following the comics. In the comics, Fisk orchestrates Maya’s fathers death, and in his dying moments he asks Fisk to take her as his adoptive daughter. And then down the road he frames Daredevil so Maya wants to kill DD, but is in a relationship with Matt Murdock. It’s a very interesting dynamic to say the least. Obviously there’s been some changes there to better fit MCU continuity, but the overall story being told is pretty similar
Also, if they decide to make the three seasons of Daredevil, this would be pretty in character for Kingpin, because he did basically the same to Dex
@Ivan Agustin Ortiz exactly what I’m thinking. I’m remaining hopeful that this means they might at least canonize that previous series, while simply “rebooting” a new series on Disney+. A soft reboot pretty much
It is vincent, he's confirmed it on twitter. Also the party in episode 1 was at his building, where he lives in the penthouse suite. It's exact building he lived in, in the daredevil show. thing to note is he has his cane from the comics with the diamond top. Weather this is a weapon, or cosmetic who knows. Also weather this is our kingpin OR this is a different multiverse is another thing. I'd like to think it's daredevil kingpin and he got the cane after the insane fight in season 3 finale.
First Kang, now Kingpin (Credits) - MCU's on a roll! Loving Florence Pugh, got a great dynamic with Hailee Steinfeld! And Spidey NWH's getting good reviews as well, good week for the MCU!
Seeing as Hawkeye knows who Yelena is, might have been a good idea to have attempted to reach out to her shortly after Natasha died!
You're right.. But trying to find a Black Widow assassin might not be that easy. And he had a lot of missed time with his family. He probably wanted to get as far away from being Hawkeye/Ronin as possible.
@@user-dz6fy6qv2l I just got home after watching no way Home 😭😭😭😭 man what can I say!!!! Truly hatts off to all those who came together with this script and bringing all Character together 💯💯💯🔥❤️❤️❤️
He wouldn’t know where she is or what she even looks like 😂😂 all he knows is that Natasha has a sister named Yelena. She’s literally been gone for 5 years bc she was snapped and before that was running around the world saving widows.
@@himanshukapri97 Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers are the writers of all 3 MCU Spidey movies with Jon Watts as director. With Watts directing the new Fantastic 4 movie, hope McKenna & Sommers are brought back as the writers as they make a good team!
@@AllInTheGame01 for the first time childhood memories came back after watching all three
I’m so glad the Netflix series are remaining MCU canon
Me too. But there's people online that refuses to accept it.
They never were.. if anything they would BECOME canon.
We don't know that yet.
@@chand911 the Netflix shows routinely reference the avengers. The battle of New York is the whole reason Fisk was able to run his crime syndicate in season 1 of Daredevil. Luke Cage has people selling DVDs with footage of the battle of New York so they’ve been canon since the start
@@jackcrofts-mullin461
But, the movies never acknowledged them, thus not being MCU canon.
It says Vincent D'onafrio in the end credits
To the victims of The Snap, it was just instant, there was no time in-between for them, all they felt was turning to dust and back in the same moment.
If there's one major theme in EVERY video in the past 6 months, it's that Jen's hair is constantly on point and only becoming more and more beautiful. Your hair slaps too, Holden. Lol
3:23 As someone who lives alone in my own place now, had the exact same conversation with a friend who came to visit me last summer. I have since bought several more pieces of silverware.
Wait, could Natasha have known her sister had been dusted when she chose to sacrifice herself in Endgame. It amazes me how they keep on finding new ways of weaving everything together.
7:59 HOLDEN HARDMAN! im sorry but that was hilarious
Don't forget the "THOMAS"
Everytime she exclaims his whole name I literally lol.
When Holden says "she didn't hear that guy shot??🤔" is the equivalent of the judge trying to shake the hand of an armless athlete meme
I'd love to see Kate, Yelena and Peter Parker in a long conversation scene🤣🤣🤣
Vincent D'Onofrio is on the ending credits cast list
8:01 i laughed so hard when you forgot that she was deaf 🤣
Your post viewing discussion was almost exactly like me and my wife last night. Can't wait for everything to come together (hopefully) next week.
The fact that he stopped it seconds before Vincent D'onafrio's name was put on screen has me hollering
Check the credits at the end of the episode. They list Vincents name before Alaqua Cox-s. And at the very end theres a silhouette of Kingpin enveloping the scene.
oh Holden Thomas Hardman that look of instant regret when you said "so you did not hear that gunshot" made my day 😂 😂
"You don't like the Xmas Jingles ?!"
*Marriage Canceled*
xD
Yelena is my favorite part of everything! She's a g'damned delight!
KB: *hucks hot sauce*
YB: "Hi-eeeeeeee"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
His name came up on the credits. It is him confirmed.
Loved it, honestly I hate the idea of only 1 episode left with so much to speculate. Very interesting to see kingpin.
I REALLLLLY hope the watch is a setup for season 2, something with Linda's past that they have to work on next
It's okay, I did the same thing, Holden. "She didn't hear that gunshot?"
Got us.
Didn’t Kevin Feige confirm that if they ever do a daredevil movie or character that it will still be Charlie Cox playing him?
Yes
His names in the end credits, it’s him
I would love to have Yolena for a sister. She's so funny and cool.
And she works for bad guys, killing people. So cool!
@@kuhpunkt And heaven help anyone that messes with you. 😉
It’s him, it’s in the credits. Also, I don’t get why people even question whether or not daredevil is in the same universe. There’s literal pictures of the MCU on newspapers and multiple references throughout the daredevil show.
It’s less that if the MCU is canon in the Netflix Marvel shows, but more if the Netflix Marvel shows are canon to the MCU, as weird as that sounds. For a while it was a one way street, where all the tie in shows, whether the Netflix shows or Agents of Shield, would definitely address events in the movies but the movies completely ignored things happening in the shows. Plus with the shows being on a competing streaming platform, we weren’t sure how willing they were to acknowledge it.
Agents of Shield isn't in the MCU and they literally followed the same timeline for a whole season. You have to follow the behind the scenes infighting at Disney to understand why TV Marvel isn't in the MCU.
The emotion that Clints talk with Natasha brought, was very powerful
It is Vincent. You can see his name in the credits
7:59 Hahaha, love it, cause also took me like 2 seconds to remember that of course she couldn't hear it.
Lol it is him. His name is listed in the credits as “Kingpin”. Plus Charlie Cox got confirmed to come back as Daredevil, so it would make sense that Vincent comes back as Fisk.
It is Vincent D'Onofrio.. he tweeted a shot of the Hawkeye credits where his towering form is over the city
In the comics, Maya Lopez is known as Echo. Kingpin kills Echo’s dad when she’s little and his dying wish is for him to raise her. He raises her and she follows and does the things he tells her. Because of her excellent skill, he tells her to kill Daredevil. During that time, she falls in love with Matt Murdock (not knowing he’s Daredevil). When she finds out, he gets her on the good side and tells her about Kingpin, and she becomes a superhero.
I love how they leaned in to see what was on the phone. That was great.
My favorite line from the episode is just the "hiiii" yalena exclaimed.
“She didn’t hear that gun shot?” I’d be a liar if I didn’t say that to myself when I first watched this. Then realized.
The end credits literally said Vincent D'Nofrio
It is the same actor he was in the credits
vincent is credited in the credits of the show
Jen killed it with the prediction about Eleanor.
7:58... don't feel too bad Holden, I had the same exact thought and realization when I watched 😂😂😂
Jen with the guess of the century, “her mom”
Nice attention in details with integrating Maya/Alaqua's amputated leg in her fighting style. During the fight with Ronin/Clint, she uses her right leg (the prosthetic one) to parry the blade. At the moment the blade falls on the ground, she uses both legs to strike
Great episode. Love how they are tying so many of these stories together.
"She didnt hear that gunshot? Wait.....ha wow nvm"
I DID THE EXACT SAME THING HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
The watch has all of Laura’s info on it, and that’s why it’s so important for Clint to get it back so his family isn’t in jeopardy because Laura used to be a spy and gave up that life to raise a family, and Maya wants to get a good grip on clint so she can find Ronin (not knowing until now that he is ronin) that’s why she had the watch to try and find everything about his family to use as leverage
love that Kingpin and Matt Murdock officially enter the MCU in the same week.
"She didn't hear that gunshot?"
Dude, my same thought on both that and the realization of my blonde moment 🤣
Vincent's name was in the credits, pay attention fam :D
@Holdenhardman It's Vincent D'onofrio, it says his name in the credits.
If you google recent phots of Vincent, he is much thinner looking nowadays. As far as Eleanor, you do remember those comments that Armond made about her in Episode 1.
Jen has outclassed Holden on the MCU. She was right about Eleanor and also the Kingpin thing was setup 2 episodes ago, why are you guys shocked lol. Also even if you didn’t believe the grain from the footage, his name was in the credits in the end just to fully confirm it for those who still didn’t believe it lol. I still can’t believe Holden never caught it was Vincent with the uncle scene when it was so clearly Vincent. Even if you didnt already know Kingpin is Echos uncle in the comics, that laugh is unmistakeable
+Holden Hardman *Really curious which one other Netflix show character besides Daredevil do you hope comes to the MCU even they are rebooted completely? *
*Mine would be Jessica Jones and I’d keep Krysten Ritter but I would start all over* from scratch. Because they skipped a lot of really fun stuff like Jessica’s hero alter ego Jewel.
I LOVED THE NETFLIX SHOW…but I think if the MCU does it they should get some of thee top mystery writers and adjust the tone a bit to not be so dark and serious but rather have a bit of humor. And would make Jessica a little less angry..just a little.
The kingpin reveal was epic.
My brother made the same comment, "How did she not hear him shoot her foot" 😂 I was like, "Shes deaf bro" so I was crying when Holden said the same thing.
Imagine, next episode Clint and Kate fighting kingpin ,and daredevil busts through the window .that will be fire
I loved how during the end credits they show Fisk's silhouette overshadowing the city! Just thought that was a cool nod to his power..
Yes that's him, Echo, Daredevil, and Kingpin is in the MCU now.
1000% him and I loved his interviews with people!!!
Hawkeye has been such a positive surprise
It is Vincent!! Credited and all!! He's back babeh
+Holden Hardman So many parallels this episode:
1.) Clint, Myah aka Echo, and Yelena all have things in common….they all have blood and wrong doings in their pasts as well as having been manipulated by their trauma and anger to do bad things.
2.) Yelena and Kate are the new Hawkeye and Black Widow (and have a similar dynamic…Kate a bit of a smart ass but generally serious and focused on the mission just like Clint….Yelena a bit goofy and can joke around but delivers incredible speeches that can be quite emotional and moody just like Natasha).
3.) Myah, Kate, and Yelena all 3 have been a bit mislead by people in their lives. People have withheld information or done things against them that will or did hurt them. (Myah’s best friend and possible lover Kazimierz aka Kaz was an informant for King Pin which lead to her father’s death……Kate’s Mom was an informant to King Pin which lead to Yelena being hired to kill him…..and Val lied to Yelena about Clint in order to get her bloodthirsty enough to want to take the job to kill him).
4.)AND THE PARALLEL BETWEEN CLINT AND KATE….Kate questioned her abilities compared to Clint, Yelena, Myah, etc and was made to feel unworthy by people including her mother……AND CLINT CONSTANTLY GETS HIS ABILITY AND ACTIONS DOWNPLAYED like in the musical, fans of super heroes in this world (nobody seems to have Hawkeye as their favorite), and things of that nature which lead him to question himself being considered a hero and a role model.
There are a ton of you look for them.
