Thanks for checking the channel out! Yeah I do agree that this is a bit of an interesting pair and something outside of the cycle of releases. Hopefully there isn't too much cracking on the synthetic leather as that would look terrible in a few years :(

Thanks for the video. Interesting shoes for sure. I am curious what Asics plans to do with this Novalis brand? Is it going to be a sub brand like Onitsuka Tiger?

Thanks for checking the channel out! I think that’s a great question and something I dont know about as much. With Onisuka Tiger, I believe that’s focused on archive/vintage asics models. It might be a separate corporate entity from Asics themselves. Novalis feels like a sub-brand under mainline asics (sort of akin to Y-3), but I’m not sure the scale of the brand or if Kiko will continue the Novalis brand after this upcoming year.

@@FashionForwardAlways Onitsuka Tiger is not a seperate corporate entity. It's very much under ASICS as a sub brand. But it's a good point about if Novalis will be ongoing or just a one off thing

@@Sabundy I agree with you about the Onitsuka Tiger being under asics. I guess what I was trying to get at is that it feels like of a Converse, Nike, Jordan situation where Nike is technically where all these brands branch off of. Hopefully Kiko keeps the Novalis sub-brand going as I think it would be pretty interesting in the space to get more competition!

Yes! I don't think these are any performance based runners and definitely more for looks with some decent comfort.

I would suggest going with what you would normally go! So go with your normal 0.5 size up :)
