I’ve been lucky enough to see Zeppelin live, and I’m looking forward to seeing GvF in Manchester June of next year ( and I’m 61!)- the only real similarity between Zeppelin and GvF is that they both contain 4 extremely talented musicians; in Josh Kizcka they’ve got an absolutely excellent vocalist. There will only ever be one Led Zeppelin- and there will only be one Greta Van Fleet. They are what rock needs.
Makes total sense- since Josh gave up his dream to help Jake and Jake said when Josh is ready to pursue his dream he'd quit and help Josh grab his dream. 💞
it makes me think of the book Outliers which basically says that after 10,000 hours of practicing at something you're a pro, and if he's been practicing since he was 2-3 years old that's over 10 years which is on average how long it takes to practice something for 10,000 hours which does indeed make him a very talented pro
He got an acoustic early on...he eventually wanted an electric and got one. His dad said it was "too easy", and took it away and told him to cont. on acoustice for a longer period. Then gave back electric later on. This helped hone his skills and character no doubt. Smart dad!😉
This song broke me at a very vulnerable time in my life and then it brought me back up because I took the words to heart…. “Even broken bells will ring again”. I was a Broken Bell when I heard this song for the first time. This song means so much to me. I hope they play it in OKC November 4, 2022… I don’t know how anybody becomes to be this talented let alone three brothers and their best friend. What an incredible blessing….rock on GVF! Love from Tulsa!! ❤️🎵 🤘
Hi Cathy I, too, love this song by greta. We get to see them live in September 2022. Looking so forward to it. I see you're from tulsa. We are thinking a lot about moving there to be with our first grandbaby. It's a really Beautiful area. Was just there a few weeks back (April 2022). It is a really big move and just wanted to ask if you love it there?
Questi sono il futuro del rock. Spero di vivere abbastanza per poter dire "io l'avevo detto" visto che ho già 54 anni. Bravi ragazzi, continuate a tenere alto l'onore del rock'roll. Vanni.
Ever since I e found these guys man I’ve felt as if they have revitalize rock and roll with whole new vibe straight old school sounds keep killing it Greta Van Fleet
Thank you so much for sharing this incredible performance! I was there that night and I was thrilled that they chose Broken Bells and Stardust Chords to perform LIVE. Those were the two songs I was looking forward to the most
Thank you for posting. I was so bummed they didn’t play this in Nashville. It was one of the songs I was looking forward to seeing live the most. Glad they added it to the show. Great job of getting all the boys performances filmed. I agree with others, the others voices are a bit annoying but this is a fantastic song so I can’t blame them for singing it loud lol.
No kidding. What are they looking for there? The band to stop the entire show to acknowledge some random fan's birthday to an arena full of people? Just enjoy the show lol.
I love your guitar playing more than any other guitarist. I’m fascinated by your technique. Have I ever told you this ? I can’t figure out how you so successfully play lead guitar & rhythm guitar all at once. It’s genius.
@@PathfinderSCB definitely a 1/1,000,000 talent. You’re comparing showing off on guitar to fitting into to where it flows in a song. Polyphia is nowhere near the band GVF is, and half their songs to my knowledge aren’t any real vocals. And if you’re talking about ichika Nito, he just comes out with short “riffs” to show off for a short amount of time
@@PathfinderSCB I’m sure Jake could do anything that ichika nito or polyphia could do. Their styles of guitar play just don’t fit into what a rock band like gvf would do
@@CocaColaCrazyyy Have you seen any of "the greatest shred collab" videos? And FYI, years ago, when I was young, I played, I literally took Synyster gates' spot on our high school jazz band when he moved on. While it's been years since I've picked up a guitar, you can still hear a good guitar player when you hear it, it's music theory. And really, Nito or Henson are so far beyond, its shocking you could compare.
It's a modern day version of "Stairway to heaven" it takes u on a journey. The guitar solo in it. Is 1 of my all-time favourite. An absolutely unbelievable incredible masterpiece
There is one issue i have with their live performances, Eddie vedder (pearl jam) once worded it perfectly: "TURN THOSE LIGHTS OFF, JOSH! THIS IS A ROCK CONCERT, NOT A TV STUDIO!" right before shredding 'even flow' I'd love to see them darken up a bit and have a bit less theatrics and a bit more of that oldschool rock concert feeling!
I dont think they can play barbarians live. If they havent played it yet and didnt make a live video on yt then i dont think they can play keyboard and bass at the same time
Okay sometimes the Led Zeppelin copying and rush rip off stuff gets on my nerves but this is an EXCELLENT song and a fucking incredibly soulful guitar solo. Actually the entire guitar part in this song is amazing.
I love you guys, but have you ever thought of just going with just Van Fleet. I know it’s close to Van Halen, but it’s far enough away too. Greta is just sometimes hard to think of.

@@joshajcip that's what I'm trying to do for the past year

Jake's handwork on the acoustic is beautiful.
It’s great, beautiful Gibson from probably the 50s or 60s
Actually the song was composed by Danny but Jake’s playing definitely improves it

I’m 66 and this band is very refreshing. Amazing talent.
Jake is one of the best guitar players I've ever seen, and GVF is going to be something special, they already are.
These four dudes from Michigan decided to change the world and they're doing it ❤️
I will be 60 in June and I have waited my whole life for GVF!
I love how Josh hands off to Jake at the guitar solo.Magnificent musicians-beautiful souls peace love unity🌼
Jake's face of pride when playing the solo, I love it; thanks Michelle🔥💖
Jakey's hair blowing in the breeze. It's fucking majestic
Jesus Christ! This is as good as candlelight sessions, which i didn't think was possible🎉
Jake looks exhausted in this video. But he sounds on point, as usual. He makes his guitar sing to my heart. These boys saved my life. Rock on GVF. ❤️
It was super hot that night. I’m sure that has a lot to do with how he looks.

This to me is the finest song on the album!
i watch this vid so regularly! i’m so entranced by jake
Josh is so great with the crowds! Always is
The birthday yelling was a tad bit annoying, makes me thankful I was a little further back lol
Glad i wasn, there could have been wrose i guess
And it wasn’t any of their birthdays. So I didn’t quite understand the screaming!
