I use a good amount of heat on my hair…and i genuinely think our curly hair will loosen if we keep heat stretching it, and certain sections of our hair stretch out easier than others. If i leave my hair alone in a curly state, it does curl back and tighten over time. With that said, i think sometimes our hair gets to a point it won’t revert, the protein bonds are too broken and those pieces stay straight….i think that’s “heat damage”…but i still think the hair can be heat damaged (ie permanently straight) and healthy. I think this UA-camr has healthy hair, but she also clearly got spots that might not curl back. That’s my take.
Hey love! Thanks for asking. Visit 14:13. That is the last area of my hair that needs to be cut. The type of damage I experienced was color damage, which caused thinning and breakage. So, I am growing that area out and trimming until it's gone. That is the only damage left. Hope this helps 💕
@michellerodgers2664 Thanks for your take 💕 You seem very educated on the topic, however the "spots" that are lacking curl definition are the ends of my hair that are growing out from color damage. Otherwise, the rest of my hair has not experienced any heat damage.
@@KashiaJabre agree! But either way ur hair is super healthy! Straight pieces or not. I think the term heat damage needs to be retired long story long. lol. Can’t wait to see more hair date on ur channel!
Thank you for showing this silk press routine. I’ve been so curious and interested in getting it done. By looking at your Hair I really want it . Your hair looks fabulous!! 💕 How long does last ? I hear it has to grow out like a relaxer, is that true ? Is it safe for any type hair to get the silk press?
Thank you so much! Silk presses normally last me up to 3 weeks. If I don't come into contact with much humidity or sweat it out, it could last longer. Pressing your hair is not similar to a relaxer. Once you wash your hair, it should revert to it's natural state. It is 100% safe for any type hair. 💕
Just freaking gorgeous from start to finish. Your hair’s shine is amazing. I’m on the road to growing my hair back out and I’m just loving the fact that more curly girls are embracing their crown rather it’s straight and/or curly. Ahh! I’m so happy I watched your video. 😊
I really appreciate you doing the work to upload and record this for us to see. I’m trying to learn to silk press my own hair as I only get it done once a year and tired of finding new stylists due to them taking breaks or doing something repulsive thus deterring me from trusting them with my hair. So I truly thank you! I’ll definitely shout you out if I ever have the guts to make a video of the results.😆🤍🙏🏽
do more natural hair videos I find that more interesting than wigs.
of course! I have been wearing my hair more often now, so more to come! 💕
Girl your hair grew a lot! It’s soooo pretty!😍😍😍
Thank you!! 💕

I like how simple your routine i watch a lot of these videos and it’s usually they are not simple.
Came out great. I like the fact that you didn’t put a whole bunch of curls in it and made it simple.
Thank you for taking the time to show this routine. It came out lovely!
Wow your hair is absolutely gorgeous! Thx for showing us . 😊
thank you 💕💕
That flat ironing is Soo much work, I think I'm lazy
let's see you do multiple styles with your natural hair at this length while it's curly! 😍
Absolutely gorgeous turnout! Thanks for sharing ❤
You have beautiful hair
Is your hair still damaged ? I don’t mean any disrespect by this comment. I was just curious.

@@KashiaJabre that makes sense because most of your hair looks pretty healthy considering.
How often do you straighten your hair in one year?
Which hair brush is that please
Love your music
Olá , esse produto entrega no Brasil? Quanto tempo dura essa técnica é provisória ou permanente
How do you ensure good growth for your hair? What are the precautions? Your hair is divine ❤😊🇧🇷
kashia you so bad I love you🎀
thanks babe 💕 I love you too!!
Def stealing that pencil flat iron for lil hair/ roots love that I usually struggle my flat iron to get it but yea that’s a lot better
I enjoyed your video. What is the mini iron you’ve used for the roots?
Can this process be done with damaged hair as well? Btw, I LOVED THIS PROCESS!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes! Although, the results may vary. If you're in need of a trim due to the damage, that area of your hair may not press out as easily.
Nice video but you need like 500 dollars worth of products so excessive 😮
Once you purchase them one time, they should last you several months.
You have my follow love ❤️ the finished product
Silkyyyy😍
Jet black hair is so cute on you
thanks my love 💕

The Paul Mitchell serum is meant to be used when the hair is damp. It literally shrinks the hair strands.
I use it in the way it works best for me 💕
very pretty, great video and i love your hair. 😊💜
thanks love 💖
@@KashiaJabre you’re welcome! 🩷
