    Update!! Just wanted everyone to know it is 10 minutes per pound. In the video I said two hours and 20 minutes and I was doing quick math and realized that should’ve been three hours cooking time even though the turkey took a little less than that obviously guys always make sure you use a thermometer to make sure your turkey is cooked all the way through. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for watching all.

      Borrowed one from a friend last Thanksgiving! He gave me an estimate on how long to cook! It came out ok but I noticed it was a little on the dry side! Thanks for the great tip. Just bought mine tonight for Thanksgiving! Wish me luck! 😁

      @@Hz481 You’re not going to be disappointed! It’s the real deal I love it. I actually had an indoor turkey fryer that you use peanut oil on and I thought that was great.. decided to give this a try and now we have switched over although I still do love the indoor fryer. I just think the turkey came out better with this one. Thanks so much for watching.

    For safety reasons, grease the pot before you put it in the fryer and keep the tank 25 inches from the unit. 9 minutes per pound is better. Also leave the top off until the last 10 to 15 minutes. I work for Char-broil. Great job though bruh

    Big Easy rocks! Just got finished seasoning my third one of these things. I've got one at home, one at hunting camp and now one at our place in Mazatlan. I've cooked roasts, ribs, tenderloins, chickens and turkeys and they've all turned out delicious 😋. I'll be doing the Christmas turkey in the new one.

      I’m not going to lie Spencer, my wife and I hands-down like the oilless fryer better!

    • @TeamTurnerFamily
      @TeamTurnerFamily  Рік тому

      also, consider this if you already have a propane tank at home then don’t even think twice. Peanut oil probably about 30 bucks or so. The new propane tank about 65 so you have to take that into consideration.

    • @Grimm0ne
      @Grimm0ne Рік тому +1

      @@TeamTurnerFamily Hey, so I'm in the same boat as Spenser. So is the oil-less fryer better because of ease of use, or is the flavor better than deep fried?

    I have a Masterbuilt Indoor turkey fryer and I am thinking about getting one of these Char-Broil oil-less fryers. Which fryer do you prefer?

    • @TeamTurnerFamily
      @TeamTurnerFamily  Рік тому +1

      As I have both as well me and my wife had this dilemma, and we both agree that the charbroil oilless fryer was better. The only thing you have to think about is if you have propane already than it 100% makes sense if you have peanut oil and your indoor fryer, you’re probably going to have to spend the extra money to get a propane tank in order to run it.

      @@TeamTurnerFamily last question. What kind of oil did you use to season the burner?

    • @TeamTurnerFamily
      @TeamTurnerFamily  Рік тому +2

      @@rickbone3906 no worries at all Rick. I appreciate you asking questions. I used regular vegetable oil but I’m sure canola oil will work. Just make sure whatever you use wipe it on…don’t spray to prevent flareup.

    Have u tried , stuffing it with , onions, carrots ,& celery ? Might make it more juicy ?

    • @TeamTurnerFamily

    • @TeamTurnerFamily
      @TeamTurnerFamily  10 місяців тому

      You have to season the turkey fryer when you first get it because of all the buildup stuff from the manufacture after that, you will never have to do that again.

    Certain seasonings and defiantly sugar,will burn. And after using one. I'd say ,fuck that ten minutes a pound shit lol. Figure bout twelve and a half. Lol. Going to make a cajun turkey. But the outside seasoning has to be simple. Anddddd. I'm using (as weird as it sounds) orvils popcorn oil to coat the outside.
