Thank you, it really worked but raised the new concepts, like Static list.
Glad it helped!
Thanks for a clear explanation :)
you're welcome!
Can you please make a video on connecting Google Sheets contacts to Hubspot please?
That's a good idea, thanks! I will be sure to add it to the list for future videos 💡
Good explanation thank you. But your import included phone numbers, at the end they were not uploaded to Hubspot. Do you have an explanation on that, pls? Thx
On the import mapping, it was mapped to "mobile phone", but on the view after the import it was displaying the column for "phone number". Those are 2 different property fields. The mobile number did import in with the other data.
Great video. Is there a video on how to set up deals in the data list? I am new to the terminology and unsure how to structure the data sheet. Thank you!
Hi Suzanne, thanks for checking out HubSpot Hacks! We don't have a video on setting up a deal import just yet, but you can find some information on that here from HubSpot's Knowledge Base: knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/set-up-your-import-file
There is a Deal's sample spreadsheet you can use to help you with your import. And if want to hire use for some HubSpot consulting you can always book a free consultation with us here: info.simplestrat.com/hubspot-consultation
How can I import via Google? I did so but only a handful of contacts are imported.
Without knowing exactly the process, it can be challenging to know. You may want to reach out to HubSpot support directly for assistance on this in your specific portal.
thnx...
Thanks for checking out the video, Shane!
9:35 I'll have to go back and check this, it's really annoying that lusha's excel headings don't match hubspot, even when you change them you can still get issues of hubspot not uploading the emails correctly. And I have no spaces in the excel... so no idea why hubspot ignored all the emails...
Hi there, thanks for checking out HubSpot Hacks! I wish I could troubleshoot this for you but without looking at the import we wouldn't be able to. I recommend checking out the knowledge base here: knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/troubleshoot-import-errors#invalid-alternate-id
@@HubSpotHacks Thank you for your reply. I fixed it by removing the other rows :)
Will it be able to identify duplicates?
Hi there, thanks for checking out HubSpot Hacks! The import will identify duplicates by email address. So if you are uploading a contact exists in your CRM already, or is on the list twice, HubSpot will know that and won't create a second person.
Hi, I'm looking to import a list of contacts from an excel spread sheet. This information also includes notes that I've made about the individuals, how do I make sure the notes are imported too?
Hi Ian, thanks for checking out HubSpot Hacks! To import notes so they appear in your contacts activity field you will need to select "multiple objects" for your import and select both "contacts" and "notes." I hope this helps! Make sure you subscribe for all the latest and greatest HubSpot Hacks!
Hello, thank you for your videos that provide us with content of value to all, I would like you to make a video talking about hubspot with Zapier automations with gmail for the hubspot free version, specifically sending emails with automated gmail for membership of lists, thank you very much in advance, greetings from Spain.
We'll consider it. Thanks for the suggestion.
Video mentioned De-duplicate video link. I didn't see one, please link one.

hello, kindly assist how to add a column of linkedin profiles with contacts info
Thanks for watching, Saima! If this data is on the sheet you are using to import, you would simply map that column to a new or existing Contact property.
It clearly say you can choose or create a property, why are you telling us to go create it somewhere else then come back and do the import?
Hi Adam- thanks for checking out the video! We've been using HubSpot long before they added that handy feature so we still have the habit of doing it the old way. We appreciate you pointing that out! Make sure you subscribe!
This video doesn't show you how to set up the CSV file, this sucks for beginners.
Sorry you feel that way. HubSpot actually has a CSV sample import file that you can download and use. That was linked in the description but here it is again in case this helps. Iknowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/set-up-your-import-file
SORRY YOU ARE LOSING…NOT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR A TECH PHOBIC BEGINNER….
