Thanks for the support mate much appriciated
Turbo and these instances there's great engine cleaners can't go wrong running a engine clean with decent new oil
How u removed the bolt that connects manifold and turbo? It looks a nightmare. I made many attempts but failed. Can u make video on it plz
That's a good size garage you got to fit 3 vehicles inside.
Deffo mate
@@SalvageDiaries The Combo is coming along nicely 👌🏼

Hi mate, how did you get those bolts off under the turbo? I’m having the same issue. Can’t seem to get a 13mm socket on it. Spanner I can get on just, but can’t get any movement on them
did you figure this out bud, havin the same issue today meself, there a bagel to get at
Did u manage to get the bolt off having same issue
Me too, a reply would be appreciated!
turbo gone ,I would take off the sump and make sure oil pick up gauze is clear or else your new turbo will gone in no time, also clean oil feed pipe and make sur good flow of oil coming out
Thanks for the advice Keith, will be sure to take the sump off and check all is well there. Is the oil pickup pipe the one that connects to the top of the turbo?
@@SalvageDiaries the pipe on top is oil feed pipe sometimes a tiny filter on the end off pipe in banjo bolt at engine block end make sure all clear, well worth look at the oil gauze strainer in the sump too.i got the same van in at the moment with bottom end knocking only done 60k wow, these engines are fragile
@@SalvageDiaries did you get there in the end ?? I have purchased the same van and the same symptoms.... rough running and smoking out the back.... the breather hose that you show is cracked but I can’t seem to find anywhere online
Regards
Turbo is knackered . far too much side to side play looking at the oil in the turbine side that is certainly gonna make smoke out the exhaust. Hopefully that will be a fix once you have replaced it
I have my fingers crossed 🤞🏼 it will solve the issue. At least it makes for good content lol must look at the positives haha
@@SalvageDiaries Yea positive vibes that will sort it.
I would say that's enough to make the seals bad lets see
That is one poorly serviced van mate. Turbo looks goosed. Also look at the sump pick up pipe to see if its blocked. You will get to the bottom of it pal but deffo turbo faulty pal.
Thanks again Mick, always appriciate the advice 👊🏼 which one is the pickup pipe?
@@SalvageDiaries oil pick up pipe and filter in the sump, I bet its clogged if it's not been serviced mate.
