Good lord! An interview of Foetus at the time of the release of the known peak of his career? That's what I call perfect timing. The green screen is hilarious but you get used to it after a while.
Jim Thirlwell was a true revolutionary. "Nail" sounded epic and expansive for an independent release. Compelling, and still one of the greatest albums ever made. The interviewer has no idea on how to interview him but still just to see an interview from the allusive JG is as rare as a yeti sighting.
I'm curious as to what the videos are that are referred to in this video (screened on MTV). The Tube appearance is the only one I know about from the Hole/Nail era.
His performance on The Tube (Descent into the Inferno) was what was shown. I also recall the airing of a segment of Lydia Lunch's The Right Side of my Brain that contained Clint but forget if it was within this episode.
@@modifiedcontent I want to know if they had a good time while he was showing her what death is all about, I'm trying not to assume she actually had to die to find out, unless Jim is undead or something, it's a question full of possibilities, very mysterious. Maybe in the next episode the answer was revealed, but I have to find it.

Birth of a legend. Reassuringly surly. 💜
This is fantastic! What a treat! I hope there are more Foetus footage on the way! Thank you so much for uploading this!
There is one more, with Ruin and Nick Cave, that will hopefully be converted within the next millennium
@@VideowaveMusic Thanks! That's worth waiting for! :-D
The guy has been brilliant since Adam was a boy. Cannot wait for what's next. "What have you been doing".
what have you been DOING
Fuck yeah. Thrilling.
the foetus ontological dichotomy is one of pure lead gestalt
I bet you felt so smart typing that.

@0ther Un1t, he was trying to do his evil Clint Ruin persona, but she didn't really play along.
xd
@@modifiedcontent Got it, lol!
3:08 haha
Geez the interviewer has not a clue what she's doing
??
Fully disagree. Her questions are actually interesting and her persona is silly and fun.
