This is great, thanks. I'm surprised this synth doesn't get more love, it's actually quite impressive. I don't quite agree with Johnny Moser's comment below about all Korg minikeys, but the keyboard on this is the only minikey setup I've been able to use to actually play. It's even possible to play jazz and classical on it. The sounds are great, the USB link is very handy, splitting the keyboard for multiple sounds works great. I'll never get rid of mine.
@SynthMania; Thanks for reminding me how good the/my microSTATION is! Nice, clear demo playing! Time to get mine back out and have some fun with it. BTW, small correction to your helpful time list; 'Wurly Jam' starts at 11:40.
Some nice playing there...not sure about the big pitch bend right after that lovely pad tune...at 6:13 or so, lol, but very nice demo, I just grabbed one of these Ebay.
These keyboards are great, amazing sounds from a tiny little thing. My friend Mark Jenkins and the band he plays with, Serpentyne ( check them out! ) has two or three of them for live shows. Just shows what powerful and reliable things they are on the road.
Riders on the storm. Ray Mazarek at his best. I would love to hear you do a full doors cover one day. I recently saw a UK doors cover band called The Doors Alive. Man they were good. Wish I was born 40 years earlier.
Great Demo! The microSTATION is a great board with some amazing sounds. Still have mine, but would love to see an updated version come out with more sounds, wav export capability, usb audio, and 8 drum pads over on the right side.
@@WulfcryNo pads or usb audio on the krome, but i agree the kross could fit the bill as a successor to the microSTATION with added features i mentioned. I may have to give it a second look.
About 7-8 years ago when they were blowing these away, I could not bring myself to buy yet another keyboard, particularly because I had its big brother M50 but they were practically giving these away... You were able to buy a workstation - albeit with small keys - for the price of one yamaha reface these days. (not to belittle reface, I love them). I think I would buy a microstation if they were available new today but I would actually prefer 4 octaves (not 5 and even less 3) and I would ask for battery and even slim speakers for ultimate portability...
Hey bro. Tell me how do you put that first effect of Riders on the storm pls!! I'm very ignorant. Is part of the sinth? Or do you have to put that effect with a pc?

Absolutely beautiful 😀👍🏅
Thank you kindly
Best demo of this beast on UA-cam.
Tremolo with the pitch bend sounds amazing! Thanks for the demo
You are lighting it up and I'm glad to be on the ride!
16:35 brings me back in '96 Robert Miles children amazing memories

Thanks - I fixed it
That Night EP patch is so smooth
Wow great playing in the beginning I like the soft jazz song. All off your playing is good.
Led Zeppelin and The Doors. Very cool. Cheers Paolo!
I love the sounds on this keyboard - yowza

You're a fine musician. Thanks for these ideas. I'm a KMS and KMA freak.
Hi I'm looking for someone who can help me producing a repeating note like a sequencer on this microstation like in This Is Us (Mark Knopfler)

I didn't expect such power from this "micro"station.
nabbed one of these at a pawn shop. amazing score!
Great piano sound, (allmost like a real grand piano), great organs also
PureSynPad is my favorite because I wrote many songs using that patch.
Great little worstation! I use two of them in my studio

Actually the Krome and Kross fit there right in.

Lack of octave shift buttons was a massive flaw.
Yeah. Good point.
I got a white Kross 2 on order as of today. Thanks WulCry.
What versatility!
Boy, that patch at 14:56. It's almost like Korg should have lit up a little purple LED or something when you turn it on :-)

Sounds nice.
piano patch is good
Man, these came out right as I was getting into synths and I wanted one so bad. Never did get one, haha. Nice sounds though!
О!!! Это ж моя балалайка!!!
Great Sounds, but how does the mini keyboard feel?
Similar to the ones on Kronos LS.
It feels great, like most all korg minikeys.
Very easy to play, feels good.

does this synth start playing in sync when you play on logic etc ? tanks in advance :)
Anyone know what notes are being used in 7:57?
I use tohave this one it was so cool I wished I had kept it ebay
Why did you play drums hands crossed ? Small doubt and what do we call that playing left hand or right handed?
I explain in this video ua-cam.com/video/IA2wAiwOlYI/v-deo.html
can i buy your patches?
Can i buy/download these sounds please?
These are factory patches, they come with it.
@@SynthManiaDotCom apologies, just bought one yesterday and haven't get the chance to play with it. Thanks man
was that the Wonder Woman theme in the title screen?
ua-cam.com/video/y8OtzJtp-EM/v-deo.html
From "Thor", not "Wonder Woman" :-)
hey I'm the first one!
