Bought one the end of February and I really like it. It has power, good looks and the sound system is great. I had a 2008 model before I switched to a 2013 Sonata and now I have the Azera again.
4 yrs later and it's still as gorgeous as it was then. Rumor has it that they're discontinuing it. I think it would be a great flagship sedan for Hyundai now that the Genesis luxury brand is being launched. It just needs a great redesign reminiscent of the current one with the latest safety and technology with 330hp/350 lb ft torque. I'd buy it!!
I don't know yet, I think they'll leave it. But the Genesis, and Equus are leaving "Hyundai" and will be branded as "Genesis." They might take the Azera with them, but I'm confident the Azera will remain with Hyundai for at least 1 more year.
so i have 2006 v6 sonata. i am torn between a used azera or genesis as a future replacement. I feel like for the price difference in the used market my money would be better spent on the genesis, but i dont know
I've seen on other videos that they have redesigned the Address for 2017/2018, and literally looks like a new 5 Series. I hope they do keep the Azera. But if they do get rid of the Azera, does that mean that the Sonata is new flagship?
@@larryc1964 I got a 2017 Azera Limited right after Hyundai announced it would no longer be selling the Azera in North America. I got it with a 12k discount off of MSRP. That made it even less that the price of a base Azera at the time. My car is identical to the one shown in the video. The only thing I am not fond of is the steering. Other than that is it a great car.
@@petdogdfw wow , good deal! I’ve heard some say the steering is an issue. What exactly does it feel like to you. I really don’t get it. I know it’s electric power steering
@@larryc1964 I had a 2013 and now have a 2017 Azera. Hyundai changed the steering. On the 2017. when driving at highway speeds, the steering feels like it is "locked" into the current position and it feels like you have to make more effort to nudge it left or right. You can't simply just turn the wheel as easily. I have researched this and found other owners reporting the same issue. It feels like the steering at first doesn't want to break loose from where it is at. The 2013 did not have this issues.

I own a 2015 Azera. And I agree with your comment, amazing car. Best bang for your buck!
+Borne2Kill Yes it is! Have you had any issues? What would you like to see Hyundai improve if they continued selling it in the U.S. ?
No issues at all! Going strong! Currently, still being sold in the US.
Cool! So do you know if the Azera will stick around for a third generation?

We don't think they will get rid of the Azera. Kia just redesigned the Cadenza and they seem to be committed to both sedans and SUVs.
How much the price of this car
Not available in USA after 2017. My 16 base was 35,000 list new. I recommend 2015 to 2017 models since those years were refreshed with upgrades
