I'd heard the card deck one before, and it led to an interesting conversation. Yes, so 52 factorial is, as he said, more than 8*10^67, but it was being pointed out that therefore, with 78 cards in the deck, when a tarot card deck is dealt, you'd be getting an even higher impossibly huge number, because in tarot it actually matters which way the card is facing when it's "dealt," meaning factorial of 156, or 7.47*10^275, which is why it sucks so much more that presented readings are so esoteric and vague, because with such a number, if fortune telling really worked, it'd truly make sense that you were the only person in the history of the universe who would be given that specific answer of your future each time.
I'm so torn. I've been listening to QQ at the gym because it makes me laugh while I lift. I've recently started watching on UA-cam and it's so charming I think I'll have to retire my gym time.
I just finished JDATE last week and start Black Box of Doom today. I can’t believe I put off Jason’s writing this long since I have literally been a fan of cracked since I was in high school 20 years ago and Jason has always been my absolute favorite podcast guest since the OG cracked podcast (will never ever forget when he did the bit about Jason putting the head in the fridge and all the weird hilarious stuff that must have happened in between) Also bigfeets was a “podcast has Jason, I listen” which gateway drugged me into DoggZzone9000 which has also been a pure delight. I still hold out hope that one of these days while going about my business in Nashville I will see Jason. I won’t say anything. I’ll just be like Alfred at the end up Dark Knight Rises.
So I’m hoping I just misunderstood the phrasing of Soren saying he “had a cat for a long time”, but has Davina died or been rehomed?? I don’t remember hearing about that so I’m assuming he just means he has had a cat for a long time, as in he still has one, rather than he did have one and more he doesn’t Also you can fix the bird/wildlife killing that by keeping her indoors, maybe building a catio (enclosed outdoor area with cat proof flatscreen or the like so they can feel the breeze) if you have space/money etc But you also have to play with them every night so they don’t wake you in the middle of the night all the time with loud zoomies
I'm not saying he should if he doesn't want to, but I would love to have a version of HTFP read by DOB. I love the way he speaks and the inflection on his jokes and I think it would make the book funnier than it already is. ❤❤❤❤
I have no idea about this, but I do wonder if a wind turbine would work if one of the turbines weighted more or if it would go out of balance, because different paints weight differently and this things are made to be incredibly light so the weight of all that much black paint might make a difference. Particularly if it already has the white paint under it. So probably you would need to manufacture new turbines with one being black and the other two compensating the weight in some way. I don't know why they don't just do it for any new turbines they make.
The Tribeca tidbit was interesting to find out about. It makes sense, could be worse. They could have named their town/city/etc after, as an example, an asbestos manufacturing company.
This is like a no-question version of the Lateral podcast. Ironic cause it’s QQ. Also amazing how the ‘facts’ are actually under-researched and they get the details and backgrounds wrong… Also, once again the podcast version is unlistenably peppered with random ads in the middle of sentences.

Carolyn Keene was a pen name but a writer named Mildred Benson wrote the first 23 books in the series. She wrote 30 in total.
