I’ve been waiting for these coming out. I’ve had the Apex CF19 for years and nearly purchased Titleist T200 earlier this year, but decide to hang on and look at these Callaways.
I have noticed that over the past several months you are looking fitter and fitter. Thanks for the review. I use the Callaway Mavrik irons, and have no plans to change as they seem as good as any of the newer game improvement models.
This was a really good video. Thank you for sharing. There’s a lot of brand new products hitting and we still have Mizuno GPX coming soon to round out the season. There’s a lot of options out there right now. Pretty amazing when you think about it.
Very interesting Is the face is forged ? About Ai 200 what is the descent angle ? For stop the ball on the Green the descent angle do is between 45 et 50 degré And for distance do you win a club ? The touch is it voix
I have the DCBs as a single digit handicap player, and I can tell you they are the easiest set of irons I have ever hit in my life. A true cheat code on the golf course. I mean you really have to try to mishit those! I’ll look at the next release of Apex in another few years. I’m a once every 5 years set of irons guy! You just don’t see enough improvement to justify changing any earlier than that.
Great review Hannah! Is there a meaningful difference in the lofts and the offset between the Ai200 and Ai300? If you mentioned it, I missed it. Thanks.
It's a smart move to make the family look the same. PXG have also successfully done this. Titileist have with the 100-150 and 200-350 but not really 150-200. There's been a lot of talk about the P7CB and P770 blending but they don't look that alike. I've a ex demo Callaway ST Pro with a SF80 shaft that produces a straight line across the middle of all the blue optimised parameters on trackman. Titleist iron demo in June, TM in July and despite optimism they could match it, they couldn't. The shaft played a major roll but perhaps the 200/300 is the way. The ti looks interesting and maybe you'll be testing it, but in James Robinsons review the black was very scratched off which at 2 grand is not on. Might have been a preproduction. Gen7 vs these maybe.
That was actually the best time to get fit for new clubs if you’re in the market because if you’re a serious golfer, it’s really midseason form so the number should be pretty accurate now as compared to in the beginning of the season
Hi Hannah, I am thinking about getting fitting for some Edel wedges. Is it possible if you can do a video about your wedges. EG,what grinds you were fitted in, what bounces you fitted in and what you think of them. Thank you.
Why would the launch monitor factor in the hill and head wind, surely it’s only measuring the point of contact, basically as if you were on a flat lie in still conditions. So your numbers are, as you state, as expected.
The launch monitor tracks the ball, so it just tracks the flight which will obviously be reduced by being into the wind and hitting up a hill. This varies depending on what type of launch monitor you use. Some like quads don’t track the ball they just predict what it is doing from the initial impact and club data
Haven’t they just released the Apex Pro’s recently that look exactly the same?? Getting as bad as TaylorMade for releasing pretty much the same club a few months later 🤦🏻♂️
@@jamescox4672 yes but these are different, the MB CB and Pro came out last year the Ai200 sits above this as a players distance iron and the Ai300 is a game improvement iron, they are designed to be in the same range and have the same design language
When she’s plus 2 playing with men’s stiff shafts? It would only work if she has the knack of slowing her swing speed down enough to play ladies shafts - that’s a big ask. But if she can, some ladies might be interested.
Hannah, Thanks for captions.

@@JDSFLA yes I’ve been working out! The Mavrik was a great range 👌🏼
not a fan of Callaway irons but they seem to perform very well... great video Hannah...
Great review. Can’t wait to see what a fit set does in your hands.

Great review. How does the Ai300 compare to the PXG Gen 7 XP?
Great review Hannah. You should come live here in North Carolina, much better weather here in the Carolinas. Play year round here.
@@gregboggs4721 😅 that would be nice!

They did have the DCBs
@@paulmcgee1867 good point!
Yes these replace the Apex 21 and DCB

AI300 got a little bit stronger loft and more offset.

I wonder why we are seeing new iron releases in early August when the season is winding down? Taylormade, PXG, Callaway to name a few.
Most people tend to launch irons at this time of year outside of their headline club name for the year which launches in January

the clubs do look fantastic, it would be the Ai300 for m. off to St Andrews next week and will have a look in the local stores.
Auchterlonies do fittings…
