I ordered the Ai 300’s today after a fitting. I ended up choosing between the Titleist T350 and the Ai 300. Both were great but the feel and dispersion was definitely better with the Ai 300. So easy to hit. The big takeaway’s for me was that the shafts in my current irons aren’t stiff enough for my swing speed and players distance irons would make things harder for me. So glad I went for a full fitting this time even if I ended up with game improvement irons. Can’t wait for the delivery from Callaway.
What made me pause was your comment that slow swingers / low ball hitters should avoid either club. I am that player, so without weakening the lofts, these are a hard pass for me. Thank you for the lower swing speed comparisons and honest commentary. Very much appreciated!
given the similarities, I’d go for the 300 over the 200 every time; mainly on the confidence boost from the larger head … unless I could hit the toe or heel as easily as you do 🤔🤔🤔
Once again with all due respect to you and all you ‘Vloggers/Content providers’ what is about being in an enclosed poorly insulated room/studioand talking about the ‘Clacking/Clacky sounds on Clubs!!?? It drives me mad,IT NEVER EVER SOUNDS LIKE THAT ON THE COURSE!! Keep up the good content.Just an observation hopefully you won’t spit out the dummy!👍⛳️
I only have the dummy in at the weekends luckily 😉 no it's a good point but it's still fairly obvious when comparing the sound to other clubs in the same environment, and I've been fitting in this room 6 days a week for nearly 4 years so very used to the sound of indoors vs outdoors
After watching this I’d probably go for the 200s but will hit both before deciding. I have the AI smokes right now, I wonder how they compare to these performance wise.
what do you think about the stock graphite (recoil dart) shaft option? I'm looking at the ai200's, I currently play CF16s with recoil shafts, thinking about sticking with graphite as i'm 62 and not getting any younger...
Graphite is the future for sure. Much better and more versatile product than steel. Just steel is still so cheap. So yeah the biggest question is does the shaft fit you, if it does then yeah great shaft
I got fitted for the ai 300 and the mizuno 245 irons and i haven’t hit the ai 200s my swing speed is 80 and i play 2 flat but my question is would the ai 200 be good for me?
@@suprand definitely not. If you swing steeper on it then majority of the time you'll launch it lower. So last thing you want is a lower lofted iron. Unless you have quite a lot of speed. And if you do have a lot of speed you wouldn't be going into an iron like that anyway
Interesting. Got fit recommendation for the 200 but am paranoid I won't be able to hit the 4 in the 200 so was wondering if the 300 would be better. Seems not unless it's a longer blade length?

Thanks for the video and thanks for testing at a slower swing speed. This is very much appreciated.

There are only two degrees of loft different between the 4 and the 5 irons. Seems so silly. I think I would prefer another wedge.

AI can tell the difference. AI making irons for itself now.
I'm sure it will be soon 😂
Is the 300 for the steeper swinger that needs to reduce spin

No difference IMO if anything more loft for average golfer will be more forgiving
Sounds like there version of
Titleist t200 300 400
For what? It’s ridiculous
