@@RobertWorthington I’m thinking next month 👍
@@richardedmonds6245 trust me it’s coming 👍
Added an Air Dog 100 gph pump in July to my 2015 duramax. Took wife for a drive to show where the money went. Was going up a highway entrance ramp, took all hesitation out of motor, just buzzed up the ramp. Highly recommend this modification. We are in our early 70’s, pulling a 37 ft fifth wheel. Does much better.
That’s awesome!
Not as many laps around the sun but did the same thing, same time. Now I want to know what it's like to not need def. Lots of exhaust systems but no good info on computers. I know echo papa asshat is watching but what do I do south of the border? Carry a barrel of pee around?
@@DezertDana theyre out there for sure keep searching
Love that LML, I have the exact same truck. 2013 victory red LML. HSP deluxe kit, cp3 sportsman conversion, fass 165, BD pressure controller, 4" exhaust, on a 6.5" bds n 35s. She moves 🤘 love the videos man!
Nice setup
Man I will be watching all future TRUCK MASTER VIDEOS FOR SURE! This is not a frigin advertisement! You are the man! I've been watching you and your wife for a long time! And Appreciate the DIESEL Pros you bring to your home-shop Excellent! Keep them coming! Thanks again! Truck MASTER!

Howdy from Calgary, Alberta. Bought my 06 GMC CCSB LBZ - Feb 07 w/51,000 Kms - now sitting at 602,450 kms (374,350 Miles.) Maintenance Maintenance & then some more...MOSTLY consisting of FLUIDS. I Agree with you 100% on Adding a Lift pump. I put a FASS on back in '13. Am still on ORIGINAL injectors - CP3 - rails etc...I attribute that to ensuring my fuel is not only CLEAN & air/dirt free, but to the addition of added LUBRICATION. In 2006/07 "DIESEL PLACE" had a LUBRICITY STUDY done on Diesel additives due to the coming of Sulpher Free Fuel. The top performer by FAR was BIO DIESEL...and runner up was Power Service with 2 Stroke added. I have since owning my truck been using the runner up method and attribute much of the longetivity to that ADDITION...2-3 Oz per fill.
I also added a By pass Oil Filter: FS2500 - worth EVERY Penny..!!
Truck is EGR Deleted, Sinister intake, PPE Manifolds, Titan Tank with a 30 gal slip in back, TC Mod, TNR Bose LUX Amp mod, ALL on HEadlights etc. Had HG's done cause I was stoopid - pulled 10k 5th wheel over BC Rocky Mountains and over boosted with EFI in position 4...90 hp over. Duh.... But all good...she's studded now. Lots of other stuff - list too long like most of us DMAX Nuts....Love my ride..!! And just sent in my Cluster for BLUE LED's...!!
Oh...and up here....it pays to run TRANSYND in the Alley...? Dex VI is useless SHIT in -43C
I still think the LBZ was the Best of the bunch.....now if I could only score a 10 speed ALLY..!!!! I hear it's simply AWESOME
Cheers to you all..!!

First mod for me was a cigarette burn in my visor. Was epic
Hilarious bro¡! All though a drag .
My dad retired from Flint Truck & Bus, probably somewhere around 2010-2015. I'm 42 now, but I used to go in to work with him once a year as a kid. I put in a few windows on a handful of G vans back in the late 80's.
A tuner for a fuel economy tune and more throttle response. I done that and in a short time my mileage doubled and paid for the tuner in fuel costs.
Agreed. Put EFI Live in bout 5 yrs ago...mileage went up big time (LBZ) from 18.5 mpg to 20.5 Hiway at 75mph...MT Truck
I absolutely agree!Put a lift pump on before that OEM injection CP4 pump grenades, and it will. For less than $1k, it'll buy time until the CP3 injection pump swap that's apx $2k just for the injection pump itself. The lift pump is insurance. And Air dog is the best maker.
Btw,yes,I'm still subscribed. You left out my name when you called me out in a video, but I knew full well who you meant.Ive learned so much from your videos. From the Air dog lift pump,up pipes, down pipe, list goes on.I am grateful for the info and step by step how tos.True,I still feel like some of the things your videos also include gather us in the diesel community negative attention will will someday regret, but we will,I hope, respectfully disagree on that.Ill stay subscribed.
And as always, thank you for your service and our freedom!
Have a great weekend.
Josh, very well explanation of the lift pump👍, hey buddy don’t burn yourself out take a little time off once and a while, Thanks for the Great Content 👍
Thanks David 👍
somthing to remember when cutting into your filler neck, it has a inner tube that you dont want to cut. i learned that the hard way
Not to add controversy, but in minus 20 Celsius (Canada) my FASS lift pump heats my fuel. Airdog doesn’t compare, I run Cat filters and have never seen issues.
Fuel, Intake, and exhaust would be the first 3 things to do. Those 3 simple mods can wake a truck up a good deal! After that then you can get into a tuner, injectors, turbos, etc... to build it up to what you want. obviously doing the other supporting mods to handle your end goal for power.
Exactly
If it’s lift pumps then it’s gonna be duramax mainly. Cummins have no issues because they have an intake pump not just one in the bay
Wrong
I'm on my 3rd Duramax since 01 and have never had a injector pump fail. All 3 bought new starting in 01 then 07 sold both trucks in good running condition with over 600K on them my 14 currently has 560K and only issues with this one was the emissions so far.
Finally broke down and bought an L5P.... Man that thing is strong. Going to miss the old LLY.
Nice! Congrats
That’s my twin! With the exception of the cab lights unfortunately. But I absolutely love it!
First mod for my 19 L5P, aside from window tint was a full weight reduction and wcfab bundle kit same color as the wifemax hsp bundle kit.
L5p have to have the ecu swapped to allow for tuning plus custom tuning and the pump with or without the sump could be 3 to 5k
i think you should do the new logo in the middle and the old one one on the doors.
I think those horseshoe clips on the fuel tank lines ur sposed to press them down and pull at same time. Pulling them out u risk breaking them
Good point but it’s just easier to remove them this way
Great video, always great information. That’s the 1st thing I did on my 2011LML. Fass 165. Next I would say for sure Fuel System Saver for the CP4 , S&B intake then a tune . I’m
In California so all emissions compliant.
Lmm getting Air Dog ASAP! THANKS A MILLION BROTHER!
Thanks!
lift pump adjustment ,stock 16 lmi
1st mod is general maintenance. Oil, lube , filters and get it checked out by a reputable shop.
Definitely
I LOVE YOUR CHANNELS! , I have a 2004 Duramax with only 135k miles that’s already lifted but man I need to install a lift pump!
Love watching ur videos! Even though I don't have a dmax
I really appreciate it
Same here. Makes me want to go out and buy one 😁
$$$$
I’m going to do a Fleece drop in don’t really like the filters out in the open
Do research. Ford 6.0,6.4 and 6.7 come with factory lift pumps and filter. That why ford doesn't have a CPU pump problem.
2004.5 and up, cold side pipe kit and cts3 scanner.
My first mod was when the dpf fell off. I have been considering a lift pump
👍👍
Great video and explanations as usual. I had a Fass 250 on my last truck and it whined so loud at idle, I hated it. I like hearing the diesel noise not the fass haha. That Air Dog seemed much quieter.
Got my 2003 lb7 about 3 months ago was going to by an a air dog but when i was doing rock lights the other day laying on the creeper looked over and seen two filters creeped over and wiped the dirt off the sticker and it said air dog 2 I yelled out f yeah the more I look over this truck the more money I find spent from edge tuner to 4 inch exhaust with 6 inch tip peace
How do you keep up with the trucks.
I have 4 girls and a wife these things cost money to maintain.
Love all your videos and I greatly appreciate your service
@truckmaster I’ve had two fass systems and one failed. Trying air dog next
I’ve never had an issue with Airdog 👍
I have a 2022 Ram 3500. I just found your channel and I really like the information you are sharing. Should I put a Lift pump on my brand new truck? I haul 5 wheel, toy hauler trailer, horse Trailers and my excavator for the most part. If it will help keep my engine running for a long time, I will install the pump, if you recommend it. Looking forward to hearing from you.
When are you going to have more for my 2009? I’m extremely interested!!
I’m thinking next month due to the economy 😩
@@TruckMaster is it possible that I could pre pay in anticipation for the next batch?
No doubt! Lmm Duramax is what I have! Right on 🤠
I put a air dog on my lb7 and started getting fuel pressure regulator code. It says the factory setting should be 8 psi but when I put a gauge on it was reading 15 psi. I have backed the screw all the way out but still could only get it down to 10 psi.
Can you do a review on the 3.0 duramax engine and upgrades
I want to love my Airdog 165 but it's only given my LB7 issues. Killed 1 regulator and trying to kill another. Mysteriously increases psi no matter how far I turn it down (including trimming the tension spring "trick") Added an on/off switch so now it's only used during uphill towing... 🤷♂️
I got the same setup and it works good on my lb7
Hey truck master I have the same exact truck 2013 lml when I installed my lift pump I didn’t plug anything to the top of the tank I just used the 2 fuel lines right in front of the tank
Will this work with trucks without tune or delete?
Yes
How about egr delete Def delete straight pipe
Tried a lift pump in upstate newyork, could not handle the constant gelups always cut the fuel with Kerosene and still gelled up every morning if you live where up north not worth it unless you got a salamander to sit on it all night
I have a 2006 lbz with 130,000 miles on it. I installed a cold air intake with a 5 inch straight pipe. I recently threw a CEL P0401. Low flow through EGR. I'm assuming it's due to the the free flowing exhaust I have on it. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks
Truckmaster! Thanks for the upload!
STR8 DRILLN'M
2017 Ram 6.7L 68k miles. What do you suggest. I l m.j ow it is not the legal thing to say but I thought to delete and save the exhaust/definitely crap. Give me a heads up if you have the time.
When will the DURAMAXLIFE decal be back in stock?
Have a 300hp Cummings in 37' DP motorhome do I have a pump ? or should I have one ?
Have you seen the blackmarket performance duramax lift pump? It runs a cat electric pump and cat fuel filter it mounts in stock filter location. Do you have an opinion on that set up.
Yes! It’s a very cool idea but I’m not sure if I trust the electric motor other who used this product had bad luck from what I heard
@@TruckMaster ive had mine for over a year so far and all good. And at least the cat fuel pump is same pump they use on cat heavy equipment so its easy to replace if need be.
Great information & cool video.
Thanks!
What about the black market performance CAT lift pump I believe it’s 90GPM or something would it be worth with as well considering it’s $300 cheaper than FASS or AirDog
The one thing I haven't seen on the lift pumps is how to hide the filters. That's the only reason I haven't done it to my lbz yet. I've even considered buying a diamond plate tool box and hiding it in there. I'd buy a lift pump if I could make those filters invisible. 246k miles bone stock and still going. Lol.
You don't see the filters when the pump is mounted on the inside of the frame rail. Your choice; outside = visible, inside = concealed.
I have a lift pump on my 2003 Duramax and the filters are not visible, not sure what Robert is referring to but I spent three day’s off and on installing the lift pump and mounted it in front of the rear wheel up high so the pump is hidden. I also have rear inner wheel wells that I installed but I had to trim them to fit.
I got the fleece. No filter. But 2 birds one stone... Needed a sending unit.
Banks cold air intake, pusher egr delete tube, banks cold side tube, s&b intake horn,
Forget the brand down pipe and flow pro cat back exhaust.... I bought a junk yard lly. I dunno how it worked before all that stuff. I just wanted to upgrade everything I could to reduce heat and such.... I'm bankrupt. But got a good ol truck.
I also have banks 6 gun tuner and gauge pod... Wanted ever since I watched Stacy David on trucks... Then after getting all that stuff I realised I'm. Now 39 and can't afford to break anything so. After one 4 wheel burnout and thinking how expensive them tires were. I set it on eco lol and don't touch it.
When are you getting in some lift pumps for the 2002 LB7?
Cummins content
You have installed *dozens* of them???
What upgrades should I put on my 2008 LTZ Chevy Silverado?
Liftpump and intake
You called it a lml when you talked about fuse tap.
I have a 2007 classic 3500 dually lbz I pull a 31 ft. horse trailer now and then,it has 127,000 miles bone stock never had a wrench on the engine just maintenance. What would you replace on this truck? Only drive this truck about 3 to 3500 miles a year.
Pcv reroute 👍
Do you have to use Air Dog replacement filters? or can you use others like Cat
Can anyone verify that the 263-xhd works in 02-07 duramax with Allison?
Google says 263-hd is for 8.1 with Allison.
Found a 02 transfer case for 06
Does it matter if it’s inside or outside of the frame on a 05 GMC? Also do I have to eliminate my factory filter on the firewall with the hand pump? Your store is out of stock for mine
Inside look better and it’s better protected. Out side the frame it is vulnerable to rocks flying from the tires and hitting the filters.
As to the factory filter. Some people leave them, you can, but, they are made to work under vacuum. Having a lift pump send fuel through them under pressure can cause some leaks. I removed mine.
You don’t need to delete the factory filter but some guys do. It’s better to install it inside the frame but if it’s outside the frame it’s ok as well the pump just gets dirty easier
Hi, Do you have any opinions on reliability improvements for the new 3.0 Duramax?
Whats the difference between magnaflow and mbrp exhausts
why shouldnt you get a k&n ............ just out of curiosity
So I have an LBZ and I have an Air dog on but I get the low rail pressure code but I only get it when I am towing
You should try installing a race fuel valve it will definitely help
@@TruckMaster I have one already installed do you have any other ideas thank you
I have a 2008 chevy duramax 6.6l i cant seem to find a lift pump to match on your site can you pls refer me to the right model id need pls. Ps just bought my first duramax and really appreciate your videos
I'm looking at a 2004 GMC 2500 duramax with 270xxx miles on it . What are some of the things I need to hv inspected ?
Picked up a 2021 l5p it's my first diesel in years. Should I use diesel treatment additive?. My first mod was banks pedal monster.
I have a 2020, the pedal monster feels like it added 200hp lol. I love mine.
Got a question :
As far as the issues you bring up does this apply to a 2018-19?
What would I need for my 2009?
Great video!!!!!!👍👍👍👍
Thanks Ron
I have a 52 gal tittan aftermarket tank , have you ever installed the dog in this situation
No I haven’t but it shouldn’t effect anything other than the location
All to he care on install and you bolted it to a rust panel ,thought you would have used protection film on those parts including the new pump ,and yes I know how harsh the salt is and it kills trucks and cars.
One might ask why haven't the manufacturers sorted the pump issues ,or installed what you have done from factory ?
Is because they are cheap ?
Cheers
Can’t please them all I guess
@@TruckMaster don't take any t to heart ,merley stating the obvious, best work place practice I would have thought .
It's such a shame to see good trucks going to waste with the rust issues 🤗
5:14 minute mark. Bottom left of screen.
Did a mouse run by you?
I guess so 😂👍
That's a cat who is identifying as a mouse
Any ideas for airdog11 installation opportunities in the Raleigh, NC area. I am interested in upgrading my 2008 2500hd duramax truck to the airdog.
Do you have to re-tune your truck of you run a lift pump?
No
Where in mi. Are you? I'm in Lapeer.
Just found a 2015 LTZ with 101000. They want 44000 for it. Is that a good price or should I try to push the price down some more?
Would you do a lift pump on yur L5P?
Already has one in the tank
Was wondering about my l5p
Luckily I don’t need one
No clamps needed?
No sir 👍
You didnt show few steps after 10:41
I’m actually posting the full install video on my other channel
@@TruckMaster my bad lol
Im really looking forward to this video i just bought a 2014 gmc denali2500 and i want to do this right away
What lift pump would you recommend for my LBZ? It’s stock and I probably will keep it stock since it’s got over 500,000 miles on it. it’s just my work truck so nothing fancy but something that might aid in keeping the injectors from going out.
Gauges
The obvious answer is to buy aftermarket wheels
I don’t pay attention. Do you work on others trucks, installs, mods etc?
I appreciate it 👍 unfortunately I don’t
👍👍👍
Thanks David
