My fiancé heard Susan’s voice and said “is that the sunscreen lady”? He has never watched a video but just by overhearing some videos, he knows Susan is an Spf advocate
This is a treasure trove of hair products that I need and can never get decent advice on, thank you!! And this is yet again another one of your completely perfect videos -- from the background, and the hair, the eye makeup & lashes, to the lips and dress. Just swoon!
I actually really like Olaplex products too! Something the really helped my scalp was the reduction of dry shampoo in my hair. Sure, washing your hair less often is great, but the build up on my scalp just seemed so heavy and unhealthy!
We are still in lockdown phase here in Malaysia so I haven’t get my facial done for almost 6 months. I would like to suggest Susan & Mixed Makeup theme to do a video on How to Do Proper home facial (without using any gadget / machines). Something that we can actually do at home once a week. Thanks. ❤️
Everyone always talks about their skincare routine, but no one ever talks about their haircare routine, so thank you! I have dry hair like my face, and I always get super bad split ends that aren't even just at the end...they go all the way up so the only way to fix it is to chop my hair off. I wash my hair every other day with drugstore shampoo and conditioner, occasionally use hair oil or leave-in conditioner on my wash days (I shower at night), and only use heat products once a year when I have a fancy occasion and I want to look nice with curly hair.
I totally agree on the Nizoral. I tried EVERYTHING and nothing worked. I found out that I have scalp psoaris as well as my ears. The first day I tried this shampoo it was life changing. I truly recommend it to anyone who suffers head psorasis.
I used to wash my hair every other day and that resulted dry flaky scalp. I came across Briogeo and their apple matcha duo really saved my scalp and hair. I then processed trying their banana colllection, which dried out my scalp and made it itchy. I don’t use Briogeo anymore as they are quite pricy, These days I opt for sulphate free and silicone free shampoo as this type of shampoo works really well for my hair n scalp. My now go-to is Shea moisture manuka honey shampoo n conditioner and A’kin fragrance free shampoo and Klorane mint clarifying shampoo.
The olaplex professional 4 in 1 mask it’s basically the same mask just a lot more cost effective. I always buy the olaplex professional line (no1, no2 and the new mask) and do the proper “in salon”treatment at home, plus no4 and 5 🙌🏻
@@curiousmind2168 no3 is pretty much no2. No2 may be more concentrated but essentially they are/do the same thing. No0 is a watered down, less effective and more expensive version of no1. I would still use the at home versions if I couldn’t get my hands on the professional line, just keep it on the hair for 1-2h. 😊
@Na No Tangle Teezer is great, but only brush your hair when it’s wet!!! Brushing textured hair after it dries ruins any curl pattern and gives you frizz. Bianca Renne today makes great curly hair content! She’s like the Susan of curls if you’re looking for more info!
For my thick curly hair Function of beauty works for me so far. But I have to use Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave in conditioner and their serum to get the normal look. I really want to try different products now but I don’t know which ones work better than these.
I have a sephora gift card that I want to spend on new hair care. What are your thoughts on the other two Briogeo shampoo and conditioner sets (be kind, be gentle; and banana & coconut)?? This mango one is sold out :(
Hahaha I need all those tools as well when I style my hair 😅 also with the oleplex products you have to be consistent like skincare you'll see results by being consistent 💗
Anyone have any recs for silicone free hair treatments? I find it weighs my hair down and while it might be less frizzy and smoother it feels drier. I used Moroccan oil repair mask which was nice but would love to try something new!
No Nothing is a great brand for anyone with sensitivities to most “irritating” ingredients, dyes and fragrance included. It used to be carried at CosmoProf pre-quarantine but I think their authorized retailer is Amazon now. The dry shampoo is my holy grail.
So regarding the olaplex shampoo and conditioner and no 8 goes, I have never had so much hair fall out in my life. I ended up getting extremely depressed because of the hair loss that started when I started using Olaplex. I stopped them 1 month ago and my hair has significantly stopped falling out.
You may already know this, but it kind of sounds like protein overload on the hair! It happened to my friend when she was using too many keratin rich products. I’m so glad your hair came back! Take care!
I see people RAVE about Good Behavior and I have just never gotten it to work for me. It doesn’t hurt my hair, I’ve just never noticed it doing anything for it. Anyone have tips? It’s so loved, I feel like I have to be doing something wrong. 😂

I backed off on dry shampoo too! Definitely made my hair better. I only use it when necessary.
You should also look in using a clarifying shampoo and I noticed it's helped my scalp. Once a week or once every 3 weeks. Helps with build-up.
Love it! Thank you for sharing the Olaplex love!! ♥️

Please make more videos like these! I love hair care videos ❤️
I really love Olaplex and shampoo and conditioner. It strengthens my hair.
Would you be able to do a hair prep video to show us the order in which you use the styling products when you’re getting ready? TY in advance.
Right on time!! My hair is a little longer than usual and a knotty mess! Hoping to learn something good!! (You know I liked right away 🥳)

I tried it for a few weeks and my psoriasis just got worse. I use the T/Sal now. It's a confusing and frustrating condition :(
Olaplex is one of my favourites too! 💜💜💜

Apple matcha also saved my scalp!!!! But I agree, way overpriced 😞
@@paiges479 how long did the shampoo and conditioner last you? like the briogeo ones
Herbal essences aloe + avocado hair an scalp oil is amazing, I switched to that from olaplex. Was recommended from my hair extension lady.
Of course your hair looks extra perfect in this video! Love it
I’ve been trying the new Briogeo shampoo and conditioner and I’ve been loving it especially the smell!!!
Great products. A vinegar and water rince for the hair is great for dandruff and makes the hair shine. 😉❤
Have been experimenting with olaplex and am not excited, however any product from loreal does it's job

Which styling products do you use? Which tools? Thank you Susan.
All the curly people getting nightmares thinking of using that brush on dry hair between wash days. 👀🙅🏻♀️
@Na No I love Tangle Teezer brushes for my curly/wavy hair. Just start brushing from the ends working up to the root, and be gentle!!

Literally what was on my mind the entire time she was talking! Brushing curls is a big no no!

I totally need to try olaplex!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
When you do your wavy hair routine, do you have a different shampoo/conditioner duo you use in the shower??
When you use Nizoral do you also shampoo with your regular shampoo before conditioning?
No, just the nizoral. 👍
No
Hello thank you.
Do you think olaplex product are safe during pregnancy? Thank you
I swear by that Nizoral shampoo for itchy scalp 🙏 God sent✨
There are tshirt turban towels. Awesome!
Olapex is a great recommendation. Thank you

When you use the Nizoral do you shampoo twice or only use the Nizoral? What conditioner do you use with it?
Susan replies to another comment saying she just uses Nizoral and then conditioner on those days!
could you give us your opinion on curology and pro active?
Olaplex is AMAZING!!!!

Nizoral and all these dry my hair sooo muchh
I’m 21 and have a large burn scar on my arm from yanking my moms curling iron cord off the counter and catching it in my arm at 8 months old😬
Is Nizoral color safe?

Thanks
How often do you use the nicozorol?
Well you use it every shower till your scalp problems heal and then like once a month or every time it starts to come back
And drugstore brands? 😄
We need more affordable fragrance free shampoos for people who are broke and sensitive to fragrance like me

Yes!!!
Kristin Ess brand and Free and Clear are the only 2 affordable ones I’ve found. They are so drying!

You should research fast hair growth fortified shampoo.
Briogeo is nasty ! Tried them all ! Gross and heavy . Amika is wonderful . So is verb
Nizoral damages the texture of your hair. It completely wrecked my hair, I had to chop it off.
Not me
Are you black or do you have curly hair?
It could possibly not work for that for some people
💯💯💯 did the same to me!!
