Finally! I've been looking for the "sweet spot" for the Quadcast for so long. A few tweaks here and there as you said and at long last my voice sounds like I wanted it to. Thank you!
Bro it's impossible to put in words how well this works. I went from having massive echo and keyboard typing and mouse clicking and hearing everything from the next country over to literally nothing if I'm not talking and it only gets my voice. Thank you!
Thank you so much. I've always struggled with audio stuff but after following your steps now my voice sounds much clearer and no background sounds picked up including my desk fan. I don't think my audio has ever been set up so professionally before. Now I can get back to making videos again and thanks to you they will go up a few notches in sound quality at least. Cannot thank you enough.
Man your tutorial helped me so much. Used exactly your filters, only gain to 9,2 to get louder, but exactly your filters are awesome. Like to your video, thank you so much.
I bought the Quadcast X a while ago and haven't been able to make my microphone in my videos sound good until I found this video. This helped me honestly so much. Thanks!
I use this microphone for business meetings all day and love it. I did notice that it will unmute by itself sometimes. Subscribed! Nice work on this video
Thank you for showing me this, I’ll be sure to get those settings up and running as soon as my boom arm get delivered. Honestly I’ve been trying to make gameplay videos and honestly I just didn’t like the way how I sound from them. So I’m hoping with this setting and the boom arm I’ll be able to make it sound good quality. Also thank you for showing this.
amazing cant thank you enough, regretted buying the quadcast for about 2 months now and with these settings its amazing picks up audio easier but doesn't allow it to get too loud.
Dude you helped alot. I never knew that there was a mic level in the settings so it was stuck at 53 the whole time. Every time I record it would be hard to hear me talk normally but when it comes to talking loud you can hear me perfectly. So Now I hear myself perfectly fine without a loud voice to bother my brothers in a game. Big thanks love the video.
THANKS, Love the settings for the HyperX Quadcast you have, Makes the QuadCast sound much more like a studio mic. Though just to keep in mind, all microphones are different, and one HyperX Quadcast may sound a tad different from others but you managed to keep a general tuning that makes it sound Great! Keep up the good work :)
I was going crazy trying to find a simple video with a few specific things: A nice and clean voice setup How to get said setup Some tips and advices here and there to improve QoL. Totally deserves a sub and Thank you very much for improving my Quadcast! P.S. I'm gonna buy the filter, looks sick.
Thank you so much man I’m a crazy streamer and I just got the Hyperx quad cast S coming today bro and I have been trying to figure out for a while now what is best
I talk into it and it cuts out and im not that far from it, I come in super close and works better, but i dont want to come in close to it.... any other suggestions?
What you can try to change is the actual sensitivity of your microphone. my approach doesn't work for everyone. sometimes you have to fix things yourself. change in obs when your microphone should transmit / be off :) Hope you understand what I mean. :)
is there a 2024 edition of this? I am using the HyperX Quadcast till today. Would appreciate if there is any changes to be made or the same settings are good enough to go!
@@FoxmodeGaming This setting still works in 2024.👍🏻 The settings will be fine. All you have to do is to the finalists a little. depending on taste and surroundings. :)
Just curious. I use NVIDIA Broadcast sound suppression software. I assume I wouldn't also use the Noise Suppression filter in OBS? Seems it might make the mic too quiet? Thanks!
@@MaDRocK_Gaming There is some cutting in the sound, the microphone does not pick up. I think it is because of the distance of my mouth from the mic. I will buy a stand soon so that I can put the mic soon. Thank you for what you do to help us And answering me 🤍🤍💙
Hi man , Nice info i got from your video , But i need some help from you , im using Hyper x Duocast with my m1 pro macbook , its working absolutely fine , but when ever i open obs studio , tap to mute button stops working even if unplug and plug back It doesn’t respond , can you help keep with the solution
I can recommend using a "boom arm". Without a boom arm, there is a risk that the microphone will pick up more sound from your mouse and keyboard. Tip: Try tweaking the settings a bit so they suit you and your situation better. :D
Hey, thank you for the video. Would you have or anyone some tips for the mic settings not to collect "breathing in" sound when speaking? I know it's also a problem of the way I'm speaking and taking breath, but I believe the mic is still to sensitive or in wrong position (I have it around 15-25 cm, below mouth, speaking over it). It might not be a problem for streams or work talks, but recorded content sounds bad with those breaths in. :/
hey from germany, i have also the same microphone and searched a long time for great settings, i ll hope it will works today on my stream with ur settings :)) !! cheers.
my same mic with your setting even without any filters have some problems....... when I talk in discord all is good but when Im streaming in twitch its a problem blc my voice looping like
Can it be as simple as having 2 things that record your sound when you stream? Your microphone and example your webcam may pick up the sound from your voice? Is it only when you streaming? :)
@@MaDRocK_Gaming I found out where was a problem XD and yeah it is very funny bcs problem was with my game not my mic LOL I fixed a game already and all is good. Thank you !
have this problem with my microphone too. Never quite got it quite right. the only time i got it removed was with the plug-in. But they were hard to set up. :)
question when I talk the bar on the obs doesnt pass the yellow line and everything is the same as far as how you did it, would would I do to let more audio come in to make it louder??
One thing you can do to find out if you are getting enough sound. Record yourself or check if you get the sound you want. If you don't get enough sound, you can raise it. If it's too much lower the volume. :)
You unfortunately have to install some sort of plugins in obs studio. To get your base up. If you google a little, I promise you that you will find something that you like. :)
I have a question, I have never used obs before so I would like to know, does obs apply the settings to the mic during gaming and current time you are using it or is it just an editing software to make your mic sound better in videos?
I'm wondering if you could possibly make a video to make your quadcast sound better when you're not recording or streaming, like when you're in a discord call or playing games.
If you have a HyperX Quadcast, you will have better sound in Discord than headsets. In Discord, you can change a few things, but nothing that improves your sound directly. Have a video showing what I have in Discord. ua-cam.com/video/8vDw45NgeXg/v-deo.html
2 years later, these settings work perfectly. Just got this mic on Amazon Prime Day for my GF. She loves it and this made it even better.
The video is a bit older!
But the settings still work.
Thanks for the nice comment
