I am uber impressed with the Capt. He not only knows the boat, the currents and winds, but more importantly he understands them so he knows what to watch for not just react to what's happening. That ship is in excellent hands.
Love Watching This Crossing with Capt Firat and listening to Your description with Alexie... Wonderful to follow this Crossing... Always Beautiful to see Bering Yatchs in Action 💜 👍🏽 🎶
Wow!!! This was a great video! Alexei, you covered so much in detail, it was great to get the answers to so many questions that you usually don’t get in a normal video. Loved every minute of it! You and your people build a beautiful boat! Thank you so much for the in depth video. And the captain was so knowledgeable and the answers to your questions were able to be understood by those of us who love the sea. Thank You!
Boats are like cars, use it every day and it will not let you down. This is what they are built to do and lets face it it gives you pleasure at the same time.
Give the area’s that the Maintenance program doesn’t mention “some Love” best line ever ❤️ .. that’s a Awesome Captain hang on tight to the people who always has the Ship and your safety in mind.. Love it
Brilliant numbers regarding the burn rate and its' breakdown, very economical. I'm not sure if that was 7,000 miles or nautical miles, but nonetheless the overall cost of operations is again very impressive. Harika çalışma Alexei!
@BeringYachts awesome content and info. In my 52yrs on this earth, I have never gotten to travel on any Ocean (if it couldn't be driven on) nor have I done any sea crossing, of any kind. which I have fantasized about since my youth. However being that I am a loser, and a poor, that is all it will ever be, nothing but a fantasy.
The pilothouse has levels. When sitting on the couch, you have great visibility. But even standing in front of the wheel, it is more than fine. The video doesn't do justice that much
Have you seen the video about the bad review of the Bering 70? and will there be explanations for this video? the essence of the video is that everything on the Bering 70 yacht is constantly breaking down! it 's just that people don 't understand well who is responsible for what when a particular unit breaks down ! The Bering 92 Papillon really showed very good results in fuel consumption! it is unclear why the starter battery failed so quickly? What kind of batteries do you install? after all, there are very high-quality starter batteries on the market! More videos of this format and good luck to Bering
We sell per year 120-180 Starter Battery’s per year for small boats, and we have a good quality, but from 20 Battery’s you have 1 that is right off the factory with problems,… so I think this is normal…
@@TheRobert072 the problem is that the starter battery is not originally designed for boats! because the excitement on the water puts them out of action! the electrolyte is constantly in motion and constantly washes the anode and cathode! thereby reduces the density of the electrolyte ! It has been tested for years!
Thank you, it was one of the best videos that i have see. Is important to now the amount of the money that we have to spend travel from the States to Europe. The time you can do one with the cost during the season in europe and in the Bahamas. Again thanks.
Thank you for this information. Can somebody please confirm the number of days for the crossing on this vessel. I recall the average speed was approximately 7.5 knots.
I'm confused. Those are commercial engines from what I understand, so 500 hours IS just one oil and filter change at 400 hrs. I speak from experience of many years on tug boats with 1000 horse power Cummins marine grade engines as Engineer. Same on our gen sets. Used 15w 40 Rotella or equivalent. On a 70 pusher with 4 500 hp Detroit's we used 50 weight at 450 hrs.. Help me understand. PS also did oil samples every 200 hrs.

How can they see over the consoles in the bridge? You have to be at least 6’2 for decent visibility.
Looks like the windshields themselves are high.

Spreadsheets of complete expenses, including starlink etc…thanks

What kind of main engines (brand, power) is there aboard Papillion?
We have two Cummins QSM-11, 602 HP each

It took us 20 days, 19 hours and 10 minutes of steaming to get to Cascais from Miami
Lovly vessel shifty well house
Definitely my choice of boat to cross the Atlantic…..

How did Papillon get to Florida? Yacht Carrier?
Yes. the crossing from the Med to Florida was done on a ship.
New build

i consider this video informative even the captain unable to give exact specific and vague answers on the expenses.
Please,legenda em português
Yep... letting all of the crew run the ship for three hours a day is also a way of creating redundancy on that big scary ocean.
Just say no to AI voice. Love the yachts regardless.
Thats no ordinary sack of coconuts .
