- Previous Top speed record 258, current top speed 268gps but not on film due to storage full, run after managed to get to 265km/h gps with.
Mods:
Diesel Gearbox (FM 57 503 with 3.82 Final Drive), Reinforced pressure plate and frictionplate, walbro 255, 800cc injectors, steeringrack , double rear arb, Borbet rims, 3"downpipe, 3"JT Superflow 1 silencer, Apex springs, Control arms PU rubbers, BSR Induction kit, Maptun BOV, Forge wastegate 0.89bar purple spring, TD04-19T, SE spoiler, 307mm rotors, bigger FMIC, T7 chargepipe, 3 bar map sensor, Reinforced front struttower brace, struttower inbetween rear shocks.

Because its preference, 3 years ago i had to replace the radio anyways and went for a cheap 2 din android unit to just modernize the looks and use.
Because there was a problem with the lights burning out prematurely and to replace them meant disassembly and resoldering the bulbs and soldering in new ones. I'm sure most double-din radios have large screens like that.
Since when is a 9-3 a 'classic'?

Well, I guess you could technically put in a bunch of modern white furniture in an old wooden cabin. But it would look out of place and awful.

Are you on stock internals at this power level still? Also what do you get out of the diesel transmission, what kind of rpms do you see at cruising speed

@@Grandpasaab That’s great to hear, I think this just gave me the final push to go through with going 19t upgrade on my 02 SE. Ill be making sure I cut no corners with supporting mods but its nice to know as I was scared of it possibly bending rods. I’ll probably have my tuner cut power back a bit as I’d like to eventually pass the car down to my younger brother but from your channel it seems like you drive it a whole lot and it still is going strong. Great build by the way!

@@Grandpasaab no I have a b205 but from what I’ve read the swap is a bit easier on the b205s. I just have to tackle the oil sludging issue that the 05s had which I think my car is suffering from. Planning to do a clean up and reseal as well as a baffle kit for the sump before going to 19t. I want to make sure I don’t run into any issues when upgrading.

Hi my Saab Aero 2,8 v6 turbo automatic has has 330 Ps/470Nm only with "Chiptuning.But i think he not reach the 265 because its automatic🤔

Correct! the chinese 19t holds up decent! Above 5000 rpm the boost drops from 1.6 bar to 1.0 bar due to high exhaust temps. i think with a 7cm 19t it does go to 275-280kmh :) stil not hitting vmax
@@Grandpasaabthe 7cm doesn’t open it up much. Ive been there and done that. The tdo4 frame of turbo really chokes them
@@boostedsaab2757 I have experienced a 9-3 with 7cm 19t wich keeps until 6200 rpm 1.5 bar boost while mine decreases after 5000 due to high egt

Ja he en nog toeren over ook, als ik een 19t met 7cm uitlaat huis had liep die nog harder, vanaf 5000 toeren worden de EGT te warm en zakt de druk af naar 1 bar.

Correct diesel gearbox, at the time of 265km/h stil having 800-900 rpm left until red line:) See description for mods
@@GrandpasaabHey man, by any chance, do you know how high the stock gearing would allow a boosted SE 2.0t to go?
Mine will have minimum 250+hp once finished, or similar power to yours if I go for a TD04, but I'm wondering if you swapped the diesel clutch in because it can handle more torque, or if it was indeed for a top speed gain?

@@PierreColombo900 no idea what the top speed is it think about 260, once my clutch started slipping I went for a upgraded one
