Just found you as I was scrolling along UA-cam looking for something I wanted to watch. I immediately noticed you don't have the music, that most people have on. Which made me soooo happy. I loved your personality, and you didn't talk for 20 minutes before starting the instructions, which I also loved. So I subscribed. Can't wait to see what you do next!
Thank you so much! Those are all things I appreciate in a video as well. Thanks for subscribing!
I second everything you said!
𝙰𝚋𝚜𝚘𝚕𝚞𝚝𝚎𝚕𝚢 𝚊𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚎 & 𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚘𝚕 𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚜 𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚊𝚜 𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕 ❤
Ditto that!
STRONGLY AGREE with you about NO music. tastes vary in music, plus it is DISTRACTING IMHO.
What a fabulous idea. These would be great with one side having the clear plastic for a window to see project inside 😊
Great idea! I'm going to give that a try
Good idea to have a clear window.
Please show your finished bag!
I was thinking the same thing!
I have tons of zippers but I still think this is a very clever idea! I would even think it would be smart to leave the plastic bag and just add an outer fabric! Especially for travel!!
Yes that would make a great travel bag! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Exactly what I was thinking 😊
I was thinking the same thing. That way you wouldn't have the extra bag plastic to figure out a use for.
Brilliant. 👏
Thinking the same!
These bags would be PERFECT to pop into your suitcases when you travel! 😍
Yes! I just used one last week to hold my makeup in my suitcase
Such a great project!
FYI The man who invented the slider would have loved this idea. He passed last year. We attended the same church for years. He also was my daughters Sunday School Teacher. At his memorial service I was so amazed to hear all he had patented. He also invented the bean bag chair 😊
Happy crafting 🩵
Oh my gosh this is so interesting! Thank you so much for sharing this with us🧡
Such talent! Thank you for sharing the amazing work you do.
Oh, thank you so much for your sweet comment! Thank you for watching and commenting🧡
Wow! Very well done. I see this being a great Girl Scout badge activity!!!🎉❤
Thank you and what a great idea to have girl scouts make these!
This is the cleverest idea I’ve seen in years! You are so clever…well done!
Agree!!
Wow thank you! 😊
I was literally looking at zip lock bags this morning thinking "how can I turn that into a bag by sewing it?" Then I saw your post ! Thanks for the inspiration, I love them! Great for sports/swimming and wash bags, travel bags and even lunch bags thank you ❤😊
What a small world! Thanks so much for watching🧡
Good ole' American ingenuity! What a fun project! Thank you ever so much!
Thank you! 😊
Very unique idea!! I may try it, but will use the whole bag, Don't want to waste cutting it off..lol thank you very cute!!!
You are so welcome!
This is brilliant! Zippers get expensive when you need a lot of them. I think these would make very light weight, but super cute travel organizers too. Thanks so much for the good explanation!
Thank you so much! Ooh travel organizers are a great idea!
Great idea Dawn ! Those project bags came be so expensive and with purchase of pattern, floss, etc this hobby is getting out of hand.
I give my projects as gifts so this is a great way to cut costs
So true! And have fun making them🧡
😊 I thank you very much for this wonderful yet simple project. I have also watched the floss book tutorial, and again, wonderful, wonderful 😊. See you soon in another project of your creativity. 🎉
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! See you soon!❤️
My mom made me a circular needle notebook with these types of bags in 2005, they all still work and are holding up. Surprisingly the bags even look good after all these years of dealing with the points of my dpns and 16in. circulars. I always have a hat project with me since I donate. I love this idea. I reuse my bags and wash them until they are no good. But now I can upcycle the slider part. Love it ❤ Happy stitching 🪡
I love the idea of a notebook like this! Good to know that it is a long lasting project.Thank you! 😊
This is a great idea! Thanks for sharing. I'll use this as a project for my monthly sewing group to make for community service bags for the homeless and low-income families that my church serves, as well as for my 99 yr old mother who can't operate the other type of zipper bags.
Thank you! These are all fantastic ideas
Agree YAY NO MUSIC DISTRACTION.
i love theidea of using ziplocks here.
I also wanted to say thank you for the tips on recycling old fabrics in thrift stores/second hand shops.
So down to earth ❤
🧡 Thank you so much!
What a great idea for recycling your friz/zip lock bag ❤ thank you for sharing.
You're welcome and thanks for watching!
I'll be using whole bag as the added protection from moisture appeals to me and there is no waste. Cute idea, thanks.
You are so welcome and thanks for watching🧡
I haven't seen anything like this. Thank you so much. It will work out cheaper than buying a zip and fabric to line it - planning to make bags for children's charity so this is very helpful.
Wonderful idea! Thanks for watching and commenting
Those will be great done with "old favorites" t-shirt designs for loved ones. My Husband and grown kids have so many. Great additions for gifting with a t-shirt quilt! Or to bring with you or send with someone, traveling.
I love the idea of using old T Shirts!!!
Brilliant! Very clever, thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
What a clever project!
Thank you!
Very nice idea 💡 I’m definitely making a few of these to hold my projects in. Thank you ❤❤
Wonderful! Have fun!
I was looking for a project bag, love this, thanks so much
You’re so welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting. Have fun making some bags ❤️
Love this, thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant idea! Idea for the part of the bag that you cut off: Cut a piece just larger than paper size, bind it with trim, tack it to the front of the bag. Now you have a window for a picture of the pattern that is inside the bag
Great idea!
This is a super cute project bag. I can see these also made with a boxed bottom.🥰
oh yes definitely! Thanks for watching
Great idea.
Thank you!
I have an idea for you to use the plastic bag. After you put the lining in slide the plastic bag down inside the lining then sew the top. Just a suggestion
Great idea! Thanks for watching
This is awesome!! I love the slider idea instead of a zipper. I'm not afraid of zipper installation, but I don't always want to fiddle with them, and this is such a great alternative!
And if you didn't cut the slide off, but kept the same steps - you'd have a waterproof bag!!
Thank you! And yes they would make wonderful waterproof bags too
Excellent idea! Waterproof bag is just what I need! ❤
UA-cam recommended this video and I’m glad it did, this is really clever and the tutorial was clear, thank you!
Thank you so much!
Very clever, love it!!!
Thank you! 😊
What a great idea, especially having the slider. I have a new assortment of fabric to play with and these bags will be so much fun to make. Thank-you for sharing 😊
How fun! Thanks for watching and subscribing🧡
The stiching of the birds is gorgeous. I get clothes at garage sales in the free or dollar bin then remove the zippers and buttons. This is pretty creative.
Thank you and I love that you get your buttons and zippers that way! What a great, cost saving idea
Exactly. I've been finding some really pretty prints at thrift stores and cross stitch fabrics, tools etc. You just gotta figure it out. This video really made my day. Well you know I will be heading to Wal-Mart after work for, you got it...Ziploc Bags. Lol
Yes! Thank you!
This is such a clever idea. Thank you for sharing it with us❤️
Thanks for watching!
Wow!! This is so clever! I can’t wait to make some. What a nice little gift it would make, as well as holding sooo many of my odds and ends. Thank you for a great tutorial!
You are so welcome and thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching and hve fun making some!
I have been looking for something like this for quite sometime for holding supplies and tools for my projects. Gather, grab, and go. Thank you.
They are wonderful for keeping all the bits and bobs contained. Thank you!
I’m always amazed as how creative people can be. I have made well over 50 project bags for my daughter who are avid cross stitchers. Putting a zipper in is no problem for me but I just have to make a couple of these. Thank you for that creative mind of yours. God bless, looking forward to your channel postings.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment and the encouragement!
Luv these. Will be using them to store my unfinished projects.
Thank you! 😊
What an original brilliant idea, I’m going to make some this weekend, quick, easy, and inexpensive, love the fabric especially the last boxed bag!
Thank you and I hope you have fun making some. I love that fabric too and have held onto it just waiting for the perfect project! 😊
Great idea! Can't wait to make some. I have a ton of sliders we cut off and saved. We use freezer bags as a less expensive but durable option for Food Saver vacuum sealed freezer storage.
Have fun and thank you!
A blast from the past! My Mom was huge into Liquid Embroidery. I still have a set of pillowcases she did for me in the 70s. ❤️🇨🇦
What a nice memory. They would be great used in a project
