@@OTMP01 after hearing about how much work and cost went into getting it pressed on such on such a nice vinyl release, it hardly seems worth having it on streaming. They pay you next to nothing.
Thank you! Very interesting but way too long talking. I‘d love a lot to add that record to my collection but as long as the US record dealers are sitting on those copies and distribution into Europe is not supported, the fan base will remain very limited, and new fans like myself may forget Jacob over time. That would be a real pity given all the efforts made so far to release such a record. Hoping for the better.
@thomashertl3037 when you are doing these types of projects yourself it is very expensive and difficult to get distribution in the U.S. let alone Europe. Hopefully at some point he can work something out.
Recognized. However, I understood that Jacob gave it in the responsible hands of The In Groove (like Kevin Gray did with his first Cohearent record release which also arrived well in European distribution). This is obviously not the case here.
Many thanks for your care. No, I did not. I am just a music on vinyl lover and consumer, and I do not think it’s my task to ask an US record dealer for setting up international distribution channels. I think that’s for Jacob to organize. Of course, TIG would sell to record to me but the shipping and import cost are permissive. Adding up to a total cost of acquisition of abt. 100 USD.. Let’s close this case. For just this record it‘s not worth the hassle.
Great music to be had on vinyl but unfortunately with poor distribution choices and buying options for Europeans. Basically unobtainable not even thru major reputable record dealers. Maybe it’s only or preferred for release in the US market and for non-US buyers who accept to spend more on shipping and import tax than on the record itself. Hopefully next time distribution choices and buying options will be more respectful to European fans. Streaming would at least be an option but the ultimate is the release on vinyl.
I think Jacob needs to get this record on streaming services.

@ I own it too but i think more people would buy the vinyl if they could stream it first.

@ did you reach out to The In Groove and see if he is going to do the same for this one?
Many thanks for your care.
