@Top Hat Gaming Man I should tell you that you made an error on the description of the Soul Calibur 2 entry as it was not Kratos but rather Tekken's Heihachi you got to play as in the Ps2 version

Tales of Symphonia Even now there were plenty of games I had to leave out, which should be evidence enough that this console had an absolutely amazing library of games to choose from. If anyone wants to tell me their own favorites, I'd be happy to hear them.
"Zelda, he is one of my favourites" haha. Tony Hawk's Proskate problem raised a laugh too, he should see a doctor about that. But I do agree with you on Lucas's amazing prequel trilogy, which will surely go down in history as the best / most important films ever made
I love how you troll the gaming nerd fanboys (and English majors) saying things you know will drive them nuts and fill your comments section with their corrections, ridicule and vitriol. Well played sir.
The guest character in Soul Calibur II for the PS2 was Heihachi Mishima, Kratos was invited as a fighter only for the PSP´s Soul Calibur Broken Destiny. This little thing aside (and unnecessary cruel jokes about the Star Wars prequels aside xD), this is a great Game Cube top, as the bonus voice from the Mortal Kombat series would say "you choose wisely"
This is a really good list, well edited video, and the script is hilarious! So many baiting comments, you can hear you're really enjoying them in the voiceover! 😂 Only major game missing for me here is Ikaruga.
My top 10: 1. Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy 2. Luigi's Mansion 3. Eternal Darkness 4. Call of Duty: Finest Hour 5. SSX 3 6. The Simpsons: Hit & Run 7. Tales of Symphonia 8. Tony Hawk's Underground 2 9. 007: Agent Under Fire 10. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I love GameCube. I love the Game Boy Player add-on for it and I love the GameCube controller because it is really comfy. I also enjoyed Sonic Adventure DX, Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Gems Collection. Those games were fun.
Nice, I struggled to even play 50 games for it, never seemed to be many games about in comparsion to PS2. Cool to see you play comparatively modern games and hear your opinions on them instead of bad mouthing haha. Metroid Prime was the best game on Cube for me. I remember playing literally open mouthed at how good the graphics were, my throat went dry. Was so sceptical about transfering the Metorid formula to 3D, but hot damn Retro Studios nailed it. Battalion Wars was the most underrated title. That Bomberman game looks mad, not seen it before!
I counted 49 games! I feel ripped off! Are you keeping the best one to yourself? 1. Burnout 2. Sonic Gems Collection 3. Sonic Adventure DX 4. Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg 5. Mario Party 4 6. F-Zero GX 7. Super Smash Bros Melee 8. Wario World 9. Super Monkey Ball 10. Bomberman Generations 11. Crazy Taxi 12. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III 13. Doshin The Giant 14. Starfox Adventure 15. Wariowave Inc: Mega Party Games 16. Mario Kart: Double Dash 17. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure 18. Viewtiful Joe 19. Wave Race Bluestorm 20. Soul Calibur 2 21. Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour 22. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 23. Pikmin 24. Chibi Robo 25. Pokemon Colosseum 26. Metroid Prime 27. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - The Master Quest 28. Fire Emblem: The Path of Radiance 43. Luigi's Mansion 44. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness 45. Megaman X Collection 46. Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean 47. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes 48. Super Mario Sunshine 49. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 50. ????
I agree on most of the games , but for me this top 50 should have included *Ikaruga *Resident Evil rebirth, *Killer 7 *1080 Avalanche and (even if it was on all platforms) Prince of Persia Sand of Time
I'm very satisfied seeing Starfox Adventures on this list! Regardless of anybodys views on this game as a Starfox title. Polarized or not. It's still an amazing adventure game. I believe it was also my first game on gamecube alongside Mario Sunshine. Billy Hatcher was one I had forgotten about, but your video gave my memory a nice refresh. I remember that game being loads of fun when I was about 12 or 13!! Nice list of games overall. 🙌
Really good list! I appreciate that you focused mostly on exclusive games even tho the system has solid AAA support. Love the GC, the most commercially un-appreciated system imo. It's a much better console than for how poorly it sold, deserved more adoption during its time, you can say the same about the og Xbox too actually. Btw GC library is about as "small" as the 16-bit system libraries, around 700+ games. What was that about lol?
Revisited the Cube this past month, man I forgot how bloody good the console is! It's gone above the Dreamcast for me, something I never thought I would say.
i never see anyone include Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 and 2 in their top Gamecube games lists and i for one think its scandalous! PSO in my opinion is one of the greatest Gamecube games ever released and has people still playing it to this day! it also has tons of accessories for it that admittedly are pretty pricey nowadays but the game is still extremely good and deserves to be appreciated more!
Killer7 for me was an extraordinary experience. Also, the designer says the PS2 is a poor port, so the Gamecube is where you need to play it. It's definitely in my top 5 Gamecube games.
Comentary is a killer man, didnt expect this level of surreallity, first few games basically just a sega shit almost bashing the gamecube, then tony hawk's prostate, bashing each other reminding growing up in london, ... and so on :D
I would add and replace some games with Kirby Air Ride, Resident Evil remake and zero, Killer 7, Mario Party 6, Ikaruga and Geist, but pretty good list nevertheless :)
GC version of Skies of Arcadia has all additional content on the disc, while Dreamcast don't. However, GC version cramped originally 2-CD game into one disc, and for that music and sound effects was compressed. If you used to the Dreamcast version that lower bitrate music and sounds is very noticeable, but not that big of a deal.
It's ironic that the Wii version of Twilight Princess is lauded by most people. I saw a gut on Reddit the other day asking which one to emulate, and everyone suggesting the Wii copy(as if it doesn't replace half the chests with Wii stamps you'll never use)
I'm wondering how PN03 holds up today - I remember it being quirky fun and suspect it could become one of those "cult hits in retrospect" games... Speaking of the "Capcom Five" - Viewtiful Joe is a surprise omission?
My Top 10 Gamecube Games 1. Star Fox Adventures 2. Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door 3. Super Mario Sunshine 4. The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker 5. Mario Party 4 6. Ty The Tasmanian Tiger 7. Mario Party 5 8. Super Smash Bros Melee 9. Mario Party 7 10. Mario Party 6
I had such a weird introduction to the burnout series. first i got burnout 2 for pc, then i got burnout 1 for ps2 then burnout 3 for xbox and i was in love with that one.
I actually have Sonic Gems Collection, and i belive the disc still works. though i would rather play the Saturn version of Sonic R instead of the Gems Collection version that is basically the PC port. also the reason why they didn't include Chaotix is because they couldn't emulate the game. they were also going to include the very first alpha demo of Sonic 1 but sadly Sega lost the rom of it. Megaman X Collection along with Megaman 6 and Megaman for the Game Gear and most recently Megaman 11 are the only ones that did not appear around europe yes, but if i have to pick one then i would definitely have liked to see Megaman X Collection in the oceanic regions.
VS The Game nobody ever includes PSO in these types of lists. I’m happy just finding a comment mentioning it as it remains in my top 5 games ever made.
I can attest to just how good Tales of Symphonia is. It is most definitely THE best Tales game in the series even to this day. Hell, even the OVA Anime series is excellent with fantastic artwork, and has literally the best opening theme music I have ever heard in any Anime ever. It's very different than the type of music you normally hear in Anime.
I just googled the OVA Anime opening and as someone who's watched a lot of anime, the Symphonia opening song and shots are EXACTLY like your typical anime opening. Nothing special nor unique tbh. (Some very unique anime opening songs I know would be Cowboy Bepop, for example.)
My personal top ten 10 Resident Evil 9 Pac Man World 2 8 Mario Kart Double Dash!! 7 Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles 6 X-Men Legends 5 Soul Cailbur II 4 Tales of Smyphonia 3 Baten Kaitos Orgins 2 The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker 1 Super Smash Bros Melee
29:12 To claim that Super Mario Sunshine on the GameCube was the first 3D Mario platformer is horrificly wrong, pretty much everybody and their dog knows that it was Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64 which alongside Tomb Raider released in the same year of 1996 revolutionized 3D platforming games.
Although I really don't care about how much foreign Starfox Adventures is from its original genre, I am sorry that the original idea for this game fell through. Still, I'm grateful for have it come out the way it did. It provided so many wonderful memories and it helped me to cope with the worst school year of my life. It's my alltime favorite game and haters can hate and trollers can troll, but they can never change my thoughts and perspectives of it and what it has done for me throughout some of the hardest times of my life. Also, I don't care about the game series and the original elements that it should have. All of that means nothing to me. I just care about the characters and the impressions that they have left on me personally.
I'm a bit sad that you mentioned Sonic Gems Collection and not Sonic Mega Collection as well, which provided Nintendo owners the first major way to play the four major main series classic Sonic the Hedgehog games, as well as a couple major spin offs like Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Sonic Spinball, and Sonic 3D Blast.
You missed the Hudson Select series like Adventure Island and Bonk. My favorite disk was the Action Replay for gamecube. Just get a sd2sp2 and a Gecko and download the latest version of Swiss and name it autoexec.dol and put it on a 2 GB SD formatted to FAT then put your games on a 128 GB SD formatted to Fat 32 and put your gameboy player iso and games on it. No modding necessary. Have fun.
In Soul Caliber the PS2 version doesn't have cratos that is the PS3 version. it has the blad spiky haired guy from Tekken. Nintendo had Link and XBOX Had Spawn. Soulcalibur II was ported to the Xbox, the Nintendo GameCube, and the PlayStation 2. It is also notable that each of the three home console versions had a unique character exclusive to that version: Heihachi Mishima (from the Tekken game series; appears in the PlayStation 2 and HD Online version) - Gauntlets. Link (from The Legend of Zelda series; appears in the GameCube version) - Master Sword and Hylian Shield. Spawn (from Todd McFarlane's comic book series of the same name; appears in the Xbox and HD Online version) -A massive axe formed from his cape.
The thing i would say is all the ports from the dreamcast to the gamecube run worse slowdown.. The best way to play dreamcast games is on a dreamcast..
@@RadioTails You need to go back and try both again .. Any port is never going to run as good on anthing it was not made for.. A port by what it is is allways less .. taking code from one cpu to this next your going to get less. gamecube does not run VGA
@@IanMicheal Sonic Adventure DX has way more content than the original: Game Gear games, extra missions, and play as Metal Sonic. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle has an improved multiplayer. Both allow you to transfer the Choa through using the GBA Sonic games. The Dreamcast can't do this. I prefer the GC Controller to the Dreamcast controller. It works slightly better. The Dreamcast version only really has extra DLC. SA2 has extra race courses.
If Nintendo really wanted to, they can add all of these games to the switch online service, remaster them all physically, and give us a gamecube classic edition!
Whooooooooooosh
*G O O D*
@Top Hat Gaming Man I should tell you that you made an error on the description of the Soul Calibur 2 entry as it was not Kratos but rather Tekken's Heihachi you got to play as in the Ps2 version
Yeeeeaaaaaahhhhh
Zelda!?!!?!?!
the creator of sonichu did something horrible and went to prison so i think you were being sarcastic there

13:14 "Tony Hawk's prostate" (in the captions)
Zelda is my favorite Soul Caliber character too.
Edit: most people in the comments don’t get the joke, sad
Very. The world is getting dumber.
Yeah, he always just drops those trolling comments in videos and it’s hilarious to see who he reels in😂
@@mrpepperami01 And amazing/sad just how *many* he does! lol

I didn't get the joke :(
And what is r/whoooosh?
I take exception to you saying Zelda is everyone’s favorite character. I much prefer Metroid.
his name isnt zelda its link, zelda was the princess lol
Star Fox 🤣🤣🤣
Pikmin is a pretty cute astronaut
@@the9file pikmin are the creatures 😭 his name is olimar.
Your all wrong. Mr. F ZERO is best 😡
It was tough having a gamecube in high school but now I think the cube is more sort after on ebay and has more appreciation then it did then.
I actually really like Starfox Adventures. It would have been cool for a sequel.
Soul Calibur 2 on ps2 had heihachi from tekken as it's guest character. Kratos was in a later game
damn you beat me to it!
Lol I was going to say that
Yeah. But Heihachi is forgettable in this iteration. I would've preferred some other character from Sony.
Yep. In fact God of War wasn’t even a thing when SoulCalibur 2 came out.
Kratos would be very out of place. 😜

Even though it was for multiple platforms and not solely for GameCube, Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II is on the top of my list.
@@NoctLightCloud Guess opinions differ. I've watched a lot of Anime too & I dunno how that song is like others but ok. Seems quite unique to me.
Top of the morning to ya sir! How’s life on the other side of the pond? Another tip TOP video!
Old Classic GameCube games 🎮 we're all golden in the year 2002 and 2003 and 2004 and 2005
My personal top ten
10 Resident Evil
9 Pac Man World 2
8 Mario Kart Double Dash!!
7 Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
6 X-Men Legends
5 Soul Cailbur II
4 Tales of Smyphonia
3 Baten Kaitos Orgins
2 The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker
1 Super Smash Bros Melee
29:12 To claim that Super Mario Sunshine on the GameCube was the first 3D Mario platformer is horrificly wrong, pretty much everybody and their dog knows that it was Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64 which alongside Tomb Raider released in the same year of 1996 revolutionized 3D platforming games.
10:42 So that's why they made Crash Tag Team Racing, for PS2?
The good old days when there was no micro transactions
5 years old and it's a great video. You should tweek/update and re upload this list. Bunch of easy views for sure
Melee is the greatest fighter of all time.
My favorite 5
1 Super Smash Bros. Melee
2 Sonic Adventure DX
3 Sonic Heroes
4 Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
5 Sonic Mega Collection
I was getting anxiety watching you try to get to the goal in Crazy Taxi.
What, no P.N.03?! :) Great list!
You said the word "Meal" instead of "Melee" a whopping total of 3 times during this video, which made me exceptionally hungry.
The PS2 Soul Caliber 2 version didn't feature Kratos but rather Heinachi from Tekken.
Can you imagine Star Fox Adventures being remade and/or reimagined into a what-if...? story?
Nintendo Game Cube 🎮 Mario Soccer game to Nintendo switch Mario Strikers Battle league 🎮🏆
His name is link not Zelda you silly good. Other than that small complaint, I really like this compilation video. Good job.
Mmmmmm Smash Brothers Meal.
2:20 Dude... that’s exactly all that’s there!
Have fun.
bro was it kratos or Heihachi for.Soul Caliber 2? Could be me remembering it wrong. Great content bruh.
Kratos didn´t even exist when Soul Calibur II came out
Clearly you haven't played as zelda in soul calibur, we all know you're not a real Tony hawk prostate fan
It is also notable that each of the three home console versions had a unique character exclusive to that version:
Heihachi Mishima (from the Tekken game series; appears in the PlayStation 2 and HD Online version) - Gauntlets.
Link (from The Legend of Zelda series; appears in the GameCube version) - Master Sword and Hylian Shield.
Spawn (from Todd McFarlane's comic book series of the same name; appears in the Xbox and HD Online version) -A massive axe formed from his cape.
Nintendo Game Cube Super Mario Sunshine was all summer adventure 🎮
Man really said Super smash bros meal 🤣🤣
Sonichu had me rolling
The thing i would say is all the ports from the dreamcast to the gamecube run worse slowdown.. The best way to play dreamcast games is on a dreamcast..
Not always. Skies of Arcadia is far better on Gamecube.
Crazy Taxi sure, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, not really.
@@RadioTails Thats more a complete ground up rewrite then a straight port made for that machine.. the gamecube ports are not..
“Which you can play with your friends, if you have any”. Ouch
Lol that star wars ea comment was so cutthroat.
twin snakes , gotcha force and f zero gx
007 everything or nothing amazing!
If Nintendo really wanted to, they can add all of these games to the switch online service, remaster them all physically, and give us a gamecube classic edition!
13:30 That's not Zelda that's Link!!! 🥳🥳🥳✌
13:30 Link !!!
No dude that's Zelda 😉
